Entenda, vocĂŞ ĂŠ CONSCIĂNCIA experimentando a si mesma.
E quanto a revisĂŁo? Ă a mesma coisa. Revisar e assumir sĂŁo a mesma coisa.
proof that every single person has been lying about the void and shifting.
the millions of people that have come on here and other social media platforms were all lying about their experinces, no one has gotten into the void, no one shifted, no one can manifest. it was all a fucking lie come up with people with schizophernia. your right.
not only are the people from todays day and age lying about their experinces, but so where the
Vedic sages, yogis, rishis in
india
who wrote:
the Vedas (4 total) the Upanishads (~108 traditionally, ~10â13 major) the Bhagavad Gita the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali the Puranas (18 major) the Tantric texts (100+) the Advaita Vedanta texts the medieval yogi writings
they were all lying too, right? the same sages who spent:years, decades and entire lifetimes in isolation, meditation, and deep observation of their own consciousness just made it all up
the Upanishads describing: a state beyond waking, beyond dreaming beyond deep sleep a fourth state where there is no thoughts no duality no inside or outside, only awareness. thatâs not what the void is, right?
the Mandukya Upanishad literally saying: there exists a state ânot inwardly conscious, not outwardly conscious, not both⌠unseen, beyond thought, indescribableâ
the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali describing: what happens when âthe fluctuations of the mind ceaseâ and what remains is: pure awareness without disturbance but yeah thatâs totally not what people are trying to reach/how they describe being in the void.
the Bhagavad Gita teaching: detachment from identity, detachment from the outcomes, telling us to act without the ego becoming still, unaffected almost like you are not the âselfâ you think you are.
the entire philosophy of Advaita Vedanta saying: you are not your body you are not your mind your true nature is pure consciousness formless unchanging and silent and that the world you experience is not as solid as it seems.
the Tantric traditions going even further, not just describing the state but teaching how to enter it consciously through: breath focus and what happens is awareness reaching a state where everything disappears but only awareness remains. but yeah, they just imagined that too. thousands of years ago. before the internet before shared global communication before modern psychology they all faked the exact same experince.
and the monks in
Thailand, Sri Lanka, Myanmar, Cambodia, and Laos
who wrote the Pali Canon thousands of pages of teachings, observations, and direct descriptions of the mind teaching there is no permanent âselfâ no fixed identity no unchanging âIâ everything you think is âyouâ is changing, arising and disappearing moment to moment. but yeah theyâve obviously never actually seen reality as it is, right?
the Heart Sutra saying: âform is emptiness, emptiness is formâ meaning: what you experience as solid reality has no fixed essence. things appear but are empty at their core.that has nothing to do with reality not being as real or solid as it feels.
the Diamond Sutra saying: let go of identity, ego, concepts and attachments and the moment you stop clinging to the false 3d you experience reality directly. not filtered, not constructed, not distorted by your ego just your true awareness. unrelated right?
the Lankavatara Sutra teaching: reality is shaped by mind and what you perceive what you experiencen is not independent it arises from consciousness itself. and these monks who spent: years decades entire lifetimes in meditation observing every thought every sensation every layer of awareness just made all of this up?
they didnât actually experience the sweet sweet serenity of just being your pure awarness and the calmness that comes with being one with the divine(you) they just wrote thousands of pages for fun, right?obviously they were not documenting what they directly experienced.
and the monks in
china
who wrote the Platform Sutra teaching that the mind is originally pure not something you have to build not something you have to create but something that is already: empty clear aware and that everything thoughts identity and reality itself arises from this emptiness. but.. are you sure this has nothing to do with the void right?
âOriginally there is nothing.â nothing to hold on to nothing to identify with nothing that is truly fixed the Gateless Gate asking questions like: âWhat is your original face before you were born?â questions that make no logical sense on purpose. because the goal is not to understand but to break thinking completely to push the mind(only your ego)into collapse until there are no thoughts left only awarenes. thatâs definitely not what people describe when they say they reach the void.
and Zen itself teaching: that direct experience > theory not reading not thinking not analyzing not researching but seeing for yourself. experiencing. and yet people today spend more time : reading posts scrolling consuming content about the void instead of actually experiencing or even trying to get into the void or shifting . thatâs not the problem at all. obviously.
and the Tao Te Ching teaching the universe comes from nothing. âTaoâ litterally meaning formless, empty, ungraspable âEmpty yourself of everything.Let the mind become still.â not add more not do more but remove thoughts, effort and identity until what remains is stillness, emptiness and awareness but yeah. that has nothing to do with what people experince in the void.
and the Zhuangzi teaching: reality is fluid identity is not fixed and that the âselfâ you think you are is not stable not permanent not real in the way you think it is, reality might be real but it is not true. telling you to forget yourself drop the ego drop the identity merge with everything(becoming one with the universe) until there is no separation no âyouâ vs âeverything elseâ just awareness. and when you sit in this feeling and truly forget yourself, your thoughts, your identity what remains? but yeah. thatâs definitely not the process people describe when entering the void, right?
and Taoism as a whole literally saying your natural state is emptiness thinking is disturbance and what youâre trying to reach is not something new but something you already are. but yeah. thatâs not what people have been saying at all.
and of course it not like the monks in
tibet
who literally teach there is a state of pure empty awareness a state you can enter consciously but only if you do not fear it do not react to it because the moment you do you lose it. but yeah. that has nothing to do with what often happens to first time shifters who shift for the first time or get into the void for the first time right?
the tibetian book of dead literally says: right after death you enter a state called Clear Light where there is no body no thoughts no physical 3d world just: awareness, pure thatâs definitely not what people call the void. itâs not like itâs described as âempty yet aware⌠luminous⌠infiniteâ and itâs not like they explain what happens next, that if you recognize this state stay calm and do not react you reach liberation. but if you panic you fall back, back into form, identity, illusion the 3d (which totally doesnât sound like what happens when people get close and suddenly snap out of it, right?) but yeah. they were allll just imagining it. itâs not like this is literally awareness + nothingness the exact thing people today call the void state.
and its not like ancient civlizations in
egypt
who believed that before anything existed there was only: darkness infinite stillness and formlessness not space, not time, not matter infinite darkness
this state called Nun not a place not an object but the primordial void the source from which: everything emerges it being litterally described as: no sky no earth no time no gods just endless dark emptiness. thatâs definitely not similar to anything people describe today. totally different from what people call the void.
and the Pyramid Texts teaching what happens after death describing the soul returning not to a physical place but to a formless state before creation back to the origin the beginning the void.
and the Coffin Texts describing: the journey through the afterlife not as something physical but as movement through darkness and formlessness returning to what existed before everything. and the entire concept they were teaching that, everything comes from emptiness that the universe began from Nun that emptiness is not nothing but the source of everything that creation itself came from the void. but yeah. completely meaningless. and that after death you donât just disappear you return to darkness to formlessness to the original state
and itâs not like civilizations across the world who had no contact with each other no shared language, no shared systems described the same idea, that before everything there was: emptiness and beyond everything there is emptiness. all fake right?
and yeah also the sufis and mystics in
the middle east
who talk about Fana the annihilation of self, teaching that your ego disappears and your âIâ disappears at your highest form of being. which means right now you think: âI am meâ âI have an identityâ but that âIâ is temporary and falsely constructed the goal is to let that âIâ dissolve. they describe it as losing yourself disappearing becoming nothing just existence. totally not what giving up your ego sounds like right?
itâs not like they say you donât just become empty you become filled with: love unity and serenity
so their âvoidâ is, empty of ego, but full of connection. and itâs not like they explain the process of reaching this state too, right?
through love and devotion focus on God (the good in life, the power of the supreme, the power within you) ego starts dissolving the âIâ becomes weaker Fana (annihilation) no self remains and after that comes Baqa(remaining) you exist again but without ego dissolving into something bigger there is no boundary between: âyouâ and everything.
and itâs not like it is literally scientifically and mathematically true that in higher spatial dimensions (four and more), our 3D understanding of âinsideâ and âoutsideâ fails. that concepts of boundary and containment vanish that objects can become unknotted that a 3D sphere can be removed from a closed 3D box without passing through its walls.
its not like saints, chritsian mystics and contemplatives and the bible in
europe
who wrote The Cloud of Unknowing teaching that you cannot understand truth and you cannot understand God through thinking and through logic that to reach the truth you must enter a state of not knowing no thoughts no understanding no identity letting go of everything you think you know until what remains is mental emptiness and silent awareness
but yeah. that has nothing to do with what people call the void, right?
and Jesus in the Bible saying:
âthe kingdom of God is within youâ
âYou will realize that I am in my Father, and you are in me, and I am in you.â
âWhoever wants to follow me must deny themselvesâ
pointing to look inward, let go of ego and let go of identity
are you sure after reading all this as sure as you are with your doubts
its all just some crazy coincidence that all of this, people from across the GLOBE that had no way of communication had ideas that
point to the same thing?
note: yo this post took me so much time and energy to makeđ i had to do sm research and gather info from so many diff sources and yt videos (esp from yt videos) and plus this is just 40% of what i found this post cant get tooooo long lmaoođ¤i made this in hopes that you understand and that it STICKS that there is more proof of the void being real then there is that it isnt. also this was supposed to be an ans to this ask origially but it got way too long lmao
love you all sm genuinely please dont stop!
Your unrelenting trust in your ability to fail; a non dual perspective
I had a conversation with a person recently, and the topic was shifting. I used to be a huge shifter back in 2020 and I was probably on every shifting platform; amino (thatâs actually where I met ko) , discord, tiktok, I even had a notion lol but this particular conversation was probably the first time Iâd spoken about shifting since thenânow, I know more things and my perspectives on everything have changed drastically
This friend of mine had been attempting to shift for about 6 years, which I learnt is quite normal within that community; she said no matter what method she tried, no matter what beliefs she had she was always unsuccessful
I first of all told her âshiftingâ like every other experience is nothing but a fundamentally unreal yet appearing idea which she knew however she said if there was no difference between experiences such as the experiences of drinking coffee and shifting then one shouldnât be easier to do than the other
And I told her but itâs not easier to do and itâs also not not easier to doâitâs whatever you define it is. Then I explained what she was doing which I think a lot of you need to hear as well. I told her she was completely blindly believing in her ability to always fail an attemptâand this can be said for any other apparently difficult situation, I want to emphasize this post is fundamentally about how not noticing leads to being deceived by appearances and not solely shifting ( itâs just a really good analogy)
I asked her what makes her genuinely believe she cannot shift at her command? And she said it was because every time she tries she knows she doesnât succeed, she wakes up in her normal bed with that same feeling of dread and disappointment, then I asked her âso you believe in that idea of stagnation but not the idea of success?â. Expectedly she was confused, this was something she saw and experienced, but what she failed to realize was how instantly that conclusion of failure is made, she is taking a completely random self conjured idea as truth
What do I mean by this? There is no actual logical reason for why she says she canât do it, nada. Every reason sheâs giving herself is just an idea she is taking as her truth with absolutely zero effort, the idea that she woke up in her bed is just an assumption, the idea that she wakes up with dread all the time is just an assumption, the idea that she continuously fails is just an assumption because all these reasons are appearing completely within at an instance.
My question was if itâs so easy to believe that completely mental assumption, why can she not do the exact same for the idea of always shifting ? What genuinely stops her or any of you? Thatâs right, nothing but yourself and your instant mental narratives. The only reason youâll not shift when you say is because the idea of failure is present, and yes itâs an idea with zero truth
If you do not recognize what you are always taking as truth is due to the fact that YOU are taking it as truth then you will continue to suffer your very own ignorance and narratives
Wake up and notice
This post is a little different from what I usually talk about but I figured it might be helpful
you donât shift to a reality, you notice youâre already there ęŠ
a non duality perspective
in simple terms, non dualism says there is only one thing happening, not you here and a desired reality over there, just pure experience, appearing as different forms.
when people talk about shifting, they often imagine a movement, so like from wrong to right, from lack to fulfillment, from this world to another, but non-dualism flips that entirely.
you donât move into your desired reality, you rather stop assuming youâre separate from it.
the feeling, state, or life you want is not elsewhere, it is a way experience can appear right now,the only thing that makes it feel distant is the thought âI am not there yetâ, you know that thought creates the gap. non dual mentality means that youâre are not a character trying to escape a scene, you are the awareness in which all scenes appear, scenes that change when identification relaxes.
therefore you donât force the shift, you release resistance to the present moment and let a new configuration arise. your desired reality isnât âfutureâ, itâs a different arrangement of the same consciousness youâre using right now.
so when you stop chasing it, you stop reinforcing the idea that itâs missing.
â now onto a simple exercise. ęŠ
1; sit or lie down comfortably, donât try to leave your body, donât visualize yet.
2; notice that you are aware, and not what youâre aware of, just the fact that awareness is happening.
3; ask quietly âwhat is aware of this moment?â and let it dissolve.
4; now think of your desired reality, as a feeling or state.
5; ask âis this feeling allowed to exist here, now?â
6; donât try to create it, let even a 1% version of that state be present.
7; rest as the awareness that contains this room, this body, and that desired state all at the same time.
8; stay for a few minutes, with no expectation.
thatâs it, you didnât go anywhere, you just stopped believing you were locked into one version of experience. again, you donât shift by becoming someone else, you shift by realizing you were never limited to one identity to begin with.
edit: I donât know why but this app flagged this post as adult content, I donât get why, could it be just for the bare back of the guy in the pic? this is stupid, but ok.
A little help from my friends to a friend of mine. https://vaquinhadoestudante.com.br/vaquinha.php?codigo=GAFDG
How to actually manifest/reality shift, and how it works
Disclaimer: this is NOT a method, technique or a new trend. It is a way of life! And is the reason behind why manifestation and reality shifting even works in the first place
Who YOU actually are
Awareness, consciousness, the observer, imagination. That is the TRUE you. Not who you âthinkâ you are, not your body, not your identity. All those are imaginary made up concepts, and are not who YOU truly are. If you were your mind or your body or your âidentityâ you would not be able to be aware of these concepts.
You can hear your thoughts, you can feel your emotions, you can feel touching a table, you observe these things, and you therefore cannot be them. If you can be aware of something, observe something, how can you BE it?
Are you a table? Or are you aware that there is a table?
Are you your thoughts? Or do you hear your thoughts?
That shows us that we are something more than this human body. But that âmoreâ can never be explained or understood, for as long as we are in a human body, because there is nothing to understand, it just IS. YOU are everything and anything. And nothing. Nothing would exist without your awareness of it.
What was before this person?
there just was
What was before this physical world (imaginary human world)?
there just was
What was before doubts and negative thinking?
there just was
it all just IS
It CANNOT be explained!
This is the reason a thing like âmanifestingâ and âreality shiftingâ even exists. They are imaginary concepts made up to try and understand and explain being awareness, imagination, the limitless creator. They âworkâ because they are METHODS to become aware of something.
Awareness of something = itâs real
No awareness of something = itâs not real
Things cease to exist when we focus our awareness somewhere else, which is why things can change and feel like they have been âundoneâ. The imaginary concept for this is revision.
But as we covered, anything and everything is JUST imagination, it is imaginary, it is not something outside of you, it IS you.Â
As a limited human, we believe that the world we live in is something outside of us, we then discover reality shifting and manifesting, and find out we can change this outside world.
But the whole point is to realise that there IS NO outside world, it is ALL within awareness/consciousness/imagination. It is IMAGINARY it exists because we are aware it exists.
We are human because we are aware that we are human.
So then is nothing real?
Not in the sense that we used to believe about the word ârealâ
How we used to view something as real, was something outside of us. âImagination is just that. It's not real '' I know a lot of us have been told this growing up, and we believed it.
But the thing is there is NOTHING OUTSIDE OF US.
So yes things are real, when you become aware of them. If not, they just exist as a thing we cannot understand.
But the second we become aware of something, it becomes real, because it was given awareness, it was given attention.
So no nothing is real in the sense we used to think. But that was a made up limited idea. There is nothing but awareness/consciousness/imagination. Anything you can think of, is imaginary and made up.
We have always been aware and observing, if you were your thoughts, then wouldnât you cease to exist when you didnât think? What is that pause between your thoughts? Awareness. Observation. It has always been there. Sit in silence and reflect on everything i say in this post, and i promise you, you realise how limited you have always been.
How do you âmanifestâ and âreality shiftâ with this you ask?
First, There is no such thing as manifesting or reality shifting. They are made up concepts as I said. Manifesting and reality shifting implies a process to go through, when in reality you are just observing, becoming aware of something, and then it exists, and you as a human body can experience it.
But because you are truly imagination/awareness/consciousness, you are everything, because nothing would even exist without you. There is nothing to âgetâ or be. Because you already are / have that thing.
awareness/consciousness/imagination is everything, and there is therefore no such thing as âtimeâ ONLY in the imaginary human world. Time is a made up thing. The past and future only exists in thoughts, and thoughts are something imaginary, that means that time is imaginary too. So anything and everything you could ever imagine or think of, exists right at this moment, and is ready to be observed / given awareness/attention to.
This makes this imaginary human life, your playground. Your video game. your dream. You can do absolutely anything and everything
And since this is the case, and what actually changes the imaginary human life, is not affirming, or states or any other method, it is awareness that changes it. That means that whatever you DECIDE is true. Is true.
Want to affirm? Do that. Want to get into a state? Do that. Want to fulfill yourself in imagination and let the â3dâ reflect it? Then do that. Want to simply observe something? Do that.
It ALL WORKS, because AWARENESS is what changes your surroundings.
Something important to really understand, is that no matter what any state person says or any affirm person says. Pretty much any law of assumption person says. There is absolutely NO difference between what you see/hear/say/imagine with your eyes closed and with your eyes open.
There is no 4d or 3d. It is just IMAGINATION. The imaginary human world does not âreflect your imaginationâ how could it when it is only here BECAUSE IT IS imagination. THERE IS NO TIME LAG!! Whenever you become aware of something, it is INSTANTLY real.
Affirm / affirmation = becoming aware
Getting into a state = becoming aware
Deciding / observing = becoming aware
Wanting = becoming aware
You see how it all boils down to the same thing? AWARENESS.
The second you become aware of something it exists immediately like i said, the reason you may not see it show up in the human experience, is because you are aware that there is a time lag, or even aware that you cannot change anything.
Doubts = only real if you are aware of them, you can decide they do not exist.
How it really should be is:
Manifesting -> observing, becoming aware, and things will change because it is just imagination, there is no such thing as manifesting, this is how it normally works!
Reality shifting -> becoming aware of ex. Hogwarts exists, and it does, become aware you are there, then you are. You are NOT shifting to a different âplaceâ because all is imagination.
And lastly, donât EVER be fooled by what someone else says. YOU DECIDE what is true for you, others donât. If you want to experience a bunch of things, it's okay to do so! If you just want to be and let things unfold, that is okay! If you want to think, that's okay to do. Never let anyone else tell you what you can and canât do. It's your imagination after all
George Berkeley was an 18th-century Irish philosopher known as one of the leading representatives of subjective idealism. His philosophical school of thought, known as subjective idealism, argues that external reality is dependent on the human mind; that is, things exist only insofar as they are perceived by a thinking subject.
Berkeley believed that matter did not have an existence independent of the mind, arguing that everything we perceive are ideas and sensations. For him, the existence of external objects is only possible when they are perceived by a mind. Therefore, physical reality is constructed from individual perceptions, and an objective and independent reality does not exist.
People struggle with the idea that manifesting, shifting, or entering the void can be easy.
But letâs be real: why is that?
Because deep down, youâre still expecting something magical to happen â like some fairytale moment where a portal opens and suddenly youâre in a brand-new world.
But thatâs not how it works.
Youâre not escaping into something new â youâre simply remembering who youâve always been and selecting that.
The version of you who already has it all? Itâs not far away. Itâs not a fantasy.
Itâs you â underneath the layers of doubt and conditioning.
You are pure awareness, pure consciousness. You can choose to be anything, experience anything, embody anything, the moment you accept that itâs who you already are.
And once you really get thatâŚ
It becomes easy.
Because it always was.
when a desire appears;
it isnât a signal of lack or something you need to attain. the appearance of desire simply means the dream is already shifting. awareness remains formless and unchanged, the desire is just a new appearance arising within it. thereâs no gap between the desire and its fulfillment because both are the same movement showing up in experience.
things only feel âout of reachâ when the mind imagines the desire as something separate from the one who wants it. but in awareness, nothing is separate from the noticing. the desire and the apparent desirer are the same presence. the moment the desire arises, the dream is already reorganizing around that appearance.
awareness is the only authority here, not as a force, but as the fact that nothing exists outside of it. if a desire shows up within awareness, itâs already included in what awareness is currently expressing as experience. the dream isnât resisting it; the dream is just awareness appearing as motion and change, and the desire is part of that flow.
so the desire isnât a request. itâs a reveal. itâs awareness saying, âthis is already within my expression.â since awareness is the entire field of the dream, the experience naturally aligns with that desire, not in the future, but as an inevitable part of what is already unfolding.
thatâs why the desire must show up in the dream. not through effort or delay, but because the desire itself is the dream already moving in that direction. no resistance, no separation, no second power, just one awareness appearing as desire and fulfillment in the same continuous movement.
It's Not Laziness: How Your Brain Wages Effort Against Reward
We often plan to do something important yet find ourselves delaying indefinitely. This isn't simply laziness; it's a deep-seated neurological process.
Before starting any task, the brain performs a cost-benefit analysis, predicting whether the expected effort is worth the potential reward. If the brain forecasts high effort with little immediate benefit, it applies a "brake" on initiation. We interpret this natural slowing-down as procrastination.
This prediction relies on the dopamine-driven reward system. Crucially, dopamine is not merely the "pleasure chemical"; it is the chemical of anticipation and drive. Dopamine surges most strongly before a reward, priming the nervous system for action. If a task fails to trigger this dopamine surge at the outset, the brain labels it as "high cost," even if the long-term reward is significant.
This is where "dopamine anchoring" comes in. This method trains the brain to release dopamine at the beginning of a task, not just at the end. The concept is simple: you deliberately associate a small, immediate pleasure with the act of starting. For instance, you might brew a special coffee only when you begin a work session.
Initially, the external reward provides the motivation. However, through repetition, the brain learns the new timing. The cue itselfâthe start of the taskâbegins to trigger the dopamine release. This is the same fundamental reward-learning process involved in habit formation.
The required effort doesn't disappear, but starting feels easier because the brain now anticipates a reward at the entry point, effectively lowering the perceived "cost" of initiation.
The assertions here are well-supported by modern neuroscience and psychology research. This text is a âpopular scienceâ summary of concepts backed by numerous scientific studies. Here is a breakdown of the key claims and the scientific evidence that supports them.
1. The Cost-Benefit Analysis of Effort (It's Not Laziness)
This is a central concept in behavioral economics and neuroscience, often studied under the umbrella of "Effort-Based Decision Making."
- Core Idea: The brain weighs the anticipated effort of an action against the anticipated reward to decide whether to act.
- Evidence: A vast body of research shows that the anterior cingulate cortex (ACC) and the ventral striatum are key regions involved in computing this effort-reward trade-off.
- Key Paper: Shenhav, A., Musslick, S., Lieder, F., Kool, W., Griffiths, T. L., Cohen, J. D., & Botvinick, M. M. (2017). Toward a rational and mechanistic account of mental effort. Annual Review of Neuroscience, 40, 99-124.
This seminal review article synthesizes evidence showing that the brain allocates mental effort like an economist allocates resourcesâonly when the benefits outweigh the costs.
2. Dopamine as the Chemical of Anticipation and Drive, Not Pleasure
This is one of the most important refinements in dopamine research over the last two decades.
- Core Idea: Dopamine is less about the experience of pleasure itself and more about motivation, prediction, and "wanting" (as opposed to "liking").
- Evidence: The work of neuroscientists like Kent Berridge at the University of Michigan has been pivotal in distinguishing these systems. "Liking" is more associated with opioid neurotransmitters, while "wanting" is driven by dopamine.
- Key Paper: Berridge, K. C., & Robinson, T. E. (2016). Liking, wanting, and the incentive-sensitization theory of addiction. *American Psychologist*, 71(8), 670â679.
This paper explains how dopamine mediates the "wanting" or incentive salience of rewards, making us motivated to pursue them. This directly supports the claim that a lack of dopamine surge at the start of a task results in low motivation.
3. Dopamine Surges Before Reward (Prediction Error)
This is the cornerstone of reinforcement learning theory.
- Core Idea: Dopamine neurons fire most strongly when a reward is unexpected or when a cue predicts a future reward. They do not fire persistently once the reward is guaranteed and received.
- Evidence: The classic work of **Wolfram Schultz** established this through experiments on monkeys, showing that dopamine signals a "reward prediction error"âthe difference between expected and actual rewards.
- Key Paper: Schultz, W. (2016). Dopamine reward prediction-error signaling: a two-component response. Nature Reviews Neuroscience, 17(3), 183-195.
This review clearly explains that the primary dopamine surge occurs in response to a reward-predicting cue, preparing the organism for action, which is exactly what this text describes.
4. The Neural Basis of Procrastination as a Failure to Initiate
Procrastination is increasingly being studied not as a moral failing but as a failure of self-regulation and a miss-calibration of the brain's effort-reward system.
- Core Idea: Procrastination is linked to difficulties with initiating action, which is a function of the prefrontal cortex struggling to regulate limbic signals that value immediate escape from effort.
- Evidence: Neuroimaging studies consistently show that procrastination correlates with:
A weaker link between the prefrontal cortex (planning/control) and the limbic system (emotion/motivation).
Altered sensitivity in the dopamine system.
- Key Paper: Zhang, W., Wang, X., & Feng, T. (2016). Identifying the neural substrates of procrastination: a resting-state fMRI study. Scientific Reports, 6, 33203.
This study found that procrastination is related to reduced functional connectivity between brain networks involved in cognitive control and motivation, making it harder to overcome the initial "cost" of starting a task.
5. "Dopamine Anchoring" as Reward-Based Learning and Habit Formation
While the term "Dopamine Anchoring" itself is a popular psychology term (you won't find it in academic papers), the mechanism it describes is a well-established principle of Pavlovian (Classical) Conditioning and Instrumental Learning.
- Core Idea: A neutral stimulus (starting a task) can become a conditioned cue that triggers a dopamine release if it is consistently paired with an unconditioned stimulus (a reward).
- Evidence: This is a fundamental law of learning. By consistently pairing the start of a task with a small, immediate reward, you are classically conditioning your brain to associate "starting" with a positive, dopaminergic response.
- Key Paper: The principle is so foundational it's in every neuroscience textbook. However, a paper that bridges this concept with modern neuroscience is: Sharpe, M. J., & Schoenbaum, G. (2016). Back to basics: Making predictions in the orbitofrontal-amygdala circuit. Neurobiology of Learning and Memory, 131, 201-206.
This discusses how circuits in the brain learn to associate cues with outcomes, which is the exact process being harnessed in "dopamine anchoring."
Conclusion
This is a highly accurate and succinct summary of a compelling scientific narrative. It correctly identifies:
The problem: Procrastination as a miscalculation in the brain's effort-reward system.
The mechanism: The role of dopamine in motivating action based on prediction.
The solution: Using established principles of learning to "re-train" the brain's predictive model.
I can confidently state that these ideas are grounded in robust neuroscientific research.
But what if this 're-training' of the brain is just the physical manifestation of a deeper, psychological principle?
Linking the neuroscience of procrastination with the Law of Assumption requires building a bridge between a physical, mechanistic model of the brain and a metaphysical, consciousness-based model of reality.
While they originate from completely different paradigms, you can create a compelling link by framing them as different levels of explanation for the same subjective experience:Â the power of internal state to shape external action and reality.
Both models agree on one crucial point: to achieve a future outcome, you must first adopt the state of already having it in the present moment.
Law of Assumption Says: "Assume the feeling of the wish fulfilled." You shift your consciousness to the end result, living from the state of your desired reality, and the 3D world conforms.
The Neuroscience Excerpt Says: "Train the brain to release dopamine at the beginning of a task." You trick your brain into anticipating the reward as if it were certain, which lowers the perceived barrier to action.
In both cases, you are manipulating your present-moment internal experience to alter your future and both systems are ultimately about changing your internal starting point.
Dopamine Anchoring is the external technique: You use a physical cue (special coffee) to trigger a chemical change (dopamine), which alters your feeling.
The Law of Assumption is the internal technique: You use a conscious decision of imagination and feeling to directly alter your state, which should, in theory, result in the same dopamine surge because your brain now believes the reward is certain.
It's important to acknowledge the paradigm difference:
Neuroscience operates in a materialist framework: brain states cause consciousness and behavior.
The Law of Assumption operates in an idealist framework: consciousness causes brain states and material reality.
These two powerful modelsâone explaining the mechanism, the other explaining the mindsetâconverge on the same practical advice:Â To change your outcomes, you must first change the feeling you associate with the beginning of the process.
Synthesis:
The neuroscience reveals that procrastination is a failure of the brain's reward system to engage at the starting line. We can hack this system externally through 'dopamine anchoring'âconditioning the brain to associate starting with a reward. On a deeper level, this mirrors the metaphysical principle of the Law of Assumption. When you 'live in the end' and assume the feeling of your wish fulfilled, you are essentially performing the most powerful form of dopamine anchoring possible: you are convincing your entire nervous system that the success is already a certainty. The dopamine surge is no longer tied to a small, external cup of coffee, but to the very identity of being the person who has already achieved the goal. The action you then take is not driven by the struggle of 'should,' but pulled forward by the magnetic anticipation of a reality you have already claimed.
Think folks, think and imagine
He lived in a time when the stars were thought to be fixed lights in a small sky.
But Giordano Bruno dared to imagine more âthat every star was a sun, with its own worlds and perhaps other beings.
For this, he was called a heretic.
Yet centuries later, his vision echoes in the discoveries of astronomy âa universe vast, endless, and full of possibilities.
He died for imagining infinity. But in doing so, he became part of it.
Probably you will not be burned at the stake for heresy, but who knows; everything is possible : )
⨠âWhy Canât I Just Affirm Once and Manifest Instantly?â â¨
I get this question all the time:
âIf manifestation is instant⌠if Iâm the God of my reality⌠then why canât I just affirm once and get it right there?â
Hereâs the truth: you can. Manifestation is instant. You can say something once and have it materialize. But, and this is the part most people ignore â weâve all been conditioned since childhood to believe the opposite. And those old beliefs donât disappear just because you say a new sentence once.
Think about it:
⢠with money, many of us grew up hearing âmoney is hard to make.â
⢠with studies, we decided âmath is hard,â âscience is hard,â âthis subject is impossible for me.â
⢠with weight, you may believe âlosing weight is hard,â âgaining weight is hard,â âmy body is stubborn.â
⢠with appearance, you might think âchanging this takes time,â or âthis is too difficult for me.â
None of these are facts.
They are just old identities you kept agreeing with. And when you affirm your desire once, that old identity often pops up and argues back, thatâs the only reason you donât see instant results.
Youâre not waiting for the manifestation. Youâre waiting for your mind to stop playing the old story.
But hereâs the solution:
donât fight the resistance, donât try to remove blocks, donât dig into your past. Just build a new assumption through repetition: âI manifest instantly.â
Say it again and again until it feels normal.
And most importantly: donât go back to the old self by checking the 3D. If you already had your desire, you wouldnât check. You wouldnât ask âwhere is it?â You wouldnât look for evidence.
Youâd relax. Youâd move like itâs done. Because it is.
Some people like to treat manifestation as a process, thatâs fine. If believing itâs instant works for you, do that. If steps and methods help you, do that.
Youâre the operant power, whatever you accept becomes true for you.
But donât forget:
manifestation can be instant.
Youâre only ever dealing with your own assumptions.

Chinese Philosophy Ă Manifestation
Same Roots, Different Paths â and How I Learned to Blend Them Through My Own Ups and Downs
When I first started learning about manifestation, I didnât expect to see any connection between it and Chinese philosophy.
To my surprise, the more I practiced, the more I realized that the two are not from different worlds at all.
One teaches âgo with the flow.â
The other teaches âyour energy shapes your reality.â
They sound opposite, but underneath, they share the same core.
The moment I realized theyâre not as different as I thought
In the beginning, I treated manifestation like something I needed to try very hard to do.
I affirmed every day, repeated sentences nonstop, and kept checking if my âenergyâ was right.Honestly, I was tense all the time.đĽ
But at the same time, I kept remembering a classic idea from Chinese philosophy:âFollow the natural flow.â
At that point in my life, I didnât really understand what âflowâ meant.I thought it was telling me to wait, or maybe even give upâŚ
Then something happenedâI tried to manifest something very important, and it failed. CompletelyďźďźIt hurt more than I expected.đĽš
It felt like my whole heart pushed forward, but reality pushed me back even harder.I remember sitting in my room that nightďźstaring at my phone, feeling empty and a little lost
I really wanted to give up.đ
But that moment made me see something clearly for the first time:
Manifestation is not about forcing the future.
Chinese philosophy is not about leaving everything to fate.
*Both point back to the same place â your inner state.
The âflowâ in Chinese philosophy is a soft but powerful wisdomt
Chinese philosophy talks about timing, balance, and harmony.
It teaches you to move with life instead of fighting against it. Later, I finally understood that âflowâ doesnât mean doing nothing.
⢠It means:
Not pushing when things are not ready.
Not forcing a door thatâs not open,
Not letting anxiety control the next move.
It means becoming soft inside, but steady.
And when you become steady, things around you slowly become steady too.
I learned this after that painful failure.
That was the first time I understood âflowâ in a real wayânot from a book, but from a setback.
The âbeliefâ in manifestation is also a journey back to yourself
Manifestation says your thoughts, beliefs, and energy shape your reality.
At first, this sounded like something new and foreign.
But the more I practiced, the more I saw it clearly:
Itâs another form of inner workâ
just using different words.
âŞď¸Chinese philosophy says:
âYour heart creates your world.â
âThe outer world follows the inner world.â
âŞď¸Manifestation saysďź
âAlign your frequency.â
âSet your intention.â
âWhat you send out comes back.â
Different languages.
Same truth.
After breaking down and standing up again, I finally learned to blend both
One day, after crying out all my frustration, I sat at my desk and told myself: âI can continue to manifest, but I wonât do it by gripping so hard.â
So I changed the way I practiced.
â I set my intention again â clearly, but gently.
Not desperate. Not fearful.
Just clear.
⥠I kept listening to subliminals and repeating affirmations.
But this time my emotions were soft and steady.
Not anxious. Not shaky.
⢠Then I let go.
I stopped staring at the result.
I stopped worrying about âwhen.â
I stopped trying to control every detail.
In that moment, I finally understood the meaning of the phrase:
âAct, but donât cling.â
And something magical happenedâ
The thing I failed to manifest before came back to me later,
in a quiet, natural, and almost effortless way.
That changed everything.
I understood that:
Manifestation isnât controlling.
Chinese philosophy isnât passive.
The power comes from a balance between the two.
The biggest lesson I learned
Manifestation gives you the power to believe.
Chinese philosophy gives you the wisdom to flow.
One lights the fire inside you.
The other protects that fire from the wind.
Theyâre like yin and yang âŻď¸ âŻď¸â
soft and strong,
still and moving,
letting go and choosing.
What truly changed my life wasnât the techniques,
but the shift in my inner world after blending both philosophies.
Iâm no longer desperate to prove something.
I donât panic when things come slowly.
I donât treat manifestation like a test.
I also donât mistake âgoing with the flowâ for giving up.
So now, my life philosophy can be summed up in one simple line:
âI manifest, and I flow. I create, and I let go.â
This isnât just a quoteâit came from real heartbreak, real confusion, and real growth.
And because of that, my life now feels softer, smoother, and more natural than ever.
* Maybe this is where Eastern wisdom and Western practice meetâ
the courage to create the future,
and the peace to follow the rhythm of life.
And that to me,
is the most beautiful part of the journey.

Time & State Shiftingâźď¸
People talk about manifestation like itâs some long, slow path where youâre dragging yourself up each step of a staircase. But when you actually pay attention to how your mind works, how your inner world shifts, and how fast your state can flip, it becomes obvious that the whole idea of âwaitingâ is something humans created just to organize daily life-not something your inner world or the wider cosmos follows. âTimeâ is basically a scheduling tool people invented so everyone isnât eating cereal at midnight. It has nothing to do with how your inner reality works. Inside your mind-the place where your desires take shape-thereâs no countdown running in the background. Thereâs no stopwatch. Everything you picture or think about is happening in the current moment. Thatâs why sudden changes feel like they appear out of nowhere. They donât come because a day passed or because a certain hour arrived. They show up the moment something shifts inside you. It happens the instant your inner stance flips, not when a calendar date arrives.
Think about the universe: every planet, every star, every galaxy operates on its own rhythm. What we call âtimeâ on Earth doesnât exist the same way elsewhere. On one planet, a day might feel like a few hours; on another, it could stretch for decades. Time is relative, not absolute. So when we try to fit manifestation into human hours or days, weâre imposing a rule that doesnât actually exist in the wider cosmos. Desires donât need to follow a linear schedule-they respond to the state you hold in the present, regardless of clocks or calendars.
And the funny thing is, when you really slow down and pay attention, you can sense how your inner world doesnât follow hours or dates at all. A thought can flip your entire mood in a second. A tiny realization can flip your whole direction in an instant. Nothing about that follows a clock. Itâs wild how quickly the inner world can switch, but people still assume that outer outcomes must drag. That assumption is what slows everything down, not the actual nature of reality.
When you start noticing manifestation operating outside human-made schedules, the whole thing becomes much simpler. A desire doesnât show up next week, next month, next year. It shows up in the moment youâve already accepted it as part of your reality. And this doesnât require effort or force-itâs more like flipping to a new version of yourself that already has what you want. Thatâs why people often describe it as a quantum âjumpâ or a âleap.â One moment they feel stuck, the next moment something snaps internally, and suddenly outer circumstances adjust to match that internal stance. Itâs not random. Itâs not magical. Itâs simply how inner awareness works: it reorganizes the outer world based on the inner snapshot youâre holding right now.
The wildest part is that you donât even have to âtryâ for this jump to happen. Sometimes it shows up when youâre doing something totally random-brushing your teeth, zoning out in a shower, scrolling on your phone, lying in bed half-asleep. Your mind just relaxes for a second, drops the mental weight, and boom-you shift. Itâs almost unfair how easy it is when you stop overthinking it. Youâre not building anything. Youâre not climbing anything. Youâre flipping into a different version of you that already sits naturally inside.
Think about how quickly your mind can switch. One second youâre annoyed, the next second youâre laughing at a meme. One second youâre overthinking something, the next second youâre calm. If an inner state can flip instantly, why wouldnât your reality shift with the same speed? People only think things are âslowâ because theyâve been taught to divide experiences into yesterday, today, and tomorrow. But manifestation doesnât consider any of that. It responds to what you hold as true right now. Thatâs why overnight changes or miracles like many people says are so common-not because nighttime is magical, but because you stop fighting your own thoughts when youâre tired and everything resets into the version of you that feels the most fitting.
And honestly, some of the biggest jumps in life happen when you literally donât care anymore. You get tired, mentally drained, and suddenly your mind stops pushing against itself. That tiny moment of giving up resistance is sometimes the exact instant your reality shifts. People call it âovernight,â but it was actually instant-the moment your inner stance clicked into place, everything outside fell in line.
Every desire you have already sits as a potential in the present. Not in the future. Not someday. Not after you âwork on it.â When you think about it, the only place anything can be is now. Even when you recall the past, youâre recalling now. Even when you picture the future, youâre picturing now. So the entire idea that your desire needs a timeline makes no sense. Itâs already here in your awareness, which means the blueprint is active right this second. The outer world simply rearranges to catch up with the internal frame youâre holding. And that shift doesnât follow clocks-it follows your inner stance.
This is why fast manifestation is not unrealistic; itâs actually the default. Slow results happen when the mind keeps bouncing between different inner states, creating delay only because youâre switching channels repeatedly. But when you sit in the version of yourself that already holds the desire, even casually, reality snaps into that version because thereâs nothing left to contradict it. And once that shift happens, physical life reorganizes quickly. People notice sudden texts, unexpected changes, new openings, and instant adjustments because outer conditions simply echo the present internal frame-not the calendar.
And if you think back on your own life, youâll probably notice moments like this. Times when you were struggling with something for months, then randomly one day you just snapped into a new direction. And once that internal shift clicked, everything outside changed faster than you could even process. That wasnât long-term progress that was instant flipping between versions of you.
Now think about real examples. Someone wants financial freedom and thinks it will take months. Yet they go to bed exhausted one night, stop stressing for a few hours, and wake up with a new idea, a message, or an unexpected solution that changes everything. That âovernight resultâ didnât happen because of the hours that passed-it happened because their inner world unclenched and switched versions. A new outcome slid into place the moment the mental pressure dropped. Another person wants a relationship to improve, and they assume it will take endless effort. Then suddenly one moment of clarity hits, and the entire dynamic transforms. Not because days passed, but because their inner stance shifted in a split second.
When someone wants a different appearance, the shift starts the moment they settle into the thought of âthis is how I look now,â without treating it like something far away. Instead of imagining a long process, they let their mind rest in the version of themselves that already has that face, that body, that style, that overall look. And because the mind treats whatever is held as ânowâ as the active reality, outer life follows that inner stance much faster than people expect. You might think of your jawline, your skin, your body shape, your height, your features as something you already possess in the present moment, and soon you notice outer reality adjusting to match that internal position-people mention it casually, mirrors reflect it naturally, and the world responds as if it has always been true.
And you see it everywhere: someone gives up their frustration with money and suddenly receives a random payment. Someone stops stressing about a person and suddenly the person reaches out. Someone finally lets go of panic about a problem and the solution pops up out of nowhere. Itâs not hours passing-itâs the instant inner switch that makes everything move.
You can spot it even in everyday scenarios. Think of times when you decided something simple: âIâm done with this job,â âIâm moving,â âIâm getting that thing,â and out of nowhere everything reshaped faster than you expected. Doors opened. People showed up. New things formed. And each time, you probably said something like, âWow, everything happened so fast.â It wasnât speed. It was the collapse of the idea of time. Everything you needed was already lined up the moment you shifted internally-you only watched it unfold afterward.
The idea of âtimeâ is only relevant to scheduling, not your inner world. Thatâs why children manifest effortlessly. They donât divide their world into yesterday and tomorrow. They decide something what they want, picture it, think it often or demand it stubbornly and let outer circumstances match it. Adults only struggle because theyâve been trained to think life must move slowly, stage by stage. But manifestation doesnât operate through stages. It operates through inner states. And inner states donât need minutes, hours, or days to change. They flip instantly the moment you rest in the version of yourself that has what you want.
So when you think about your desire, stop imagining it as something on a timeline. Remove the idea of waiting completely. Treat it as something that exists right now as a finished fact in your inner world. Thatâs the only place it needs to be. Once itâs real inside, the outside follows. Fast. Effortlessly. Smoothly. Because outer reality isnât following a human clock-itâs responding to your inner stance right now.
And the more you treat ânowâ as the only real moment-the more results youâll watch unfolding the same way: suddenly, sharply, and without warning, because thatâs how outer reality responds when time is no longer part of the equation.

TW: 'harsh' shifting motivation and LOAs
Why would I have to wait for the future to be good at shifting? That literally makes no sense... shifting has always been piss-easy literally nothing can change that. If you don't like that then fine, but stop acting like there's going to be anything outside of yourself that going to make you shift.
There are no more revelations to be had, no super secret super powerful subliminal, no perfect method... only YOU. And don't get me started on the reprogramming your mind crap. Literally decide now. Are you a successful shifter yes or no? Is shifting easy for you now, yes or no? Congrats you've just reprogrammed your mind. Literally just keep choosing what you want to be true for you now.
ESPECIALLY IF YOU KNOW ABOUT LOAs DON'T GET ME MADDDD!!! Don't fucking complain as if you "don't know how to manifest", or the universe/anything other than you has decided that "you can't shift because of xyz". Be honest with yourself. If you're not ready to shift now that's ok, but don't kid yourself trying to convince yourself that the reason you haven't shifted is because of anything other than you.
are you unconsciously in a
state of standing still?
I believe that this community has (and correct me if Iâm wrong!) spoken about the topic of wanting vs. becoming,
when it comes to manifestation AND shifting.
for me, personally? I couldnât care less about how pretty you phrase your affirmations, or how carelessly.
I donât care if you preach things like,
âdelulu is the soluluâ and âfake it til you make it.â
I am not the type of person who looks too deep into someone elseâs ways of manifestation.
itâs not mine.
and ANYONE can shift or manifest with ANY wording, no matter how limiting or icky you may find it.
itâs not that way for THEM!
that is my teeeeny little rant before I get into this postâa reminder that this post is NOT:
concrete rules, neither one size fits all
but it IS:
take if it resonates, discard if it doesnâtâ
type of post!
soooo⌠who here hates persisting?
affirming, maybe, or repeating the same subliminal so many times you SWEAR youâve memorized the tone of every single whisper of unintelligible affirmations.
âŚ
alotta hands, I seeâŚ
what if I told yaâyou ainât gotta do any of that?
of course, this seems like the typical post of âyou donât need to do anything to get your desires,â and that sentence in itself IS true,
but Iâm attempting a.. uh, new perspective. yeah, letâs go with that!
say,
if you had everything you truly wanted right this secondâ
would you still be doing this?
cue dramatic pause
âŚ
okay, continuing,
if you had your SP/DP wrapped around your fingers, would you click âloopâ on your subliminal? or would you be too busy being showered with love and affection?
if you had shifted⌠once, twice, or a million times, would you reblog that funny shifting meme about how youâre tired of not being able to shift? or would you be creating a script for your new DR?
if you had manifested your dream life,
if you had it all,
would you be doing this?
no?
then why are you NOW?
if youâre truly under the assumption that you have what you want, WHY are you doing this?
and once again, this is not for those who ENJOY doing things in their journey (subliminals, robotic affirmations, methods, yadda yaddaâŚ) because you CAN do these things and still be in the mindset that you have what you want.
this is a mere gentle reminder that you have what you want, so why are you still chasing it?
why are you unconsciously assuming itâs not yours?
ask yourself, TRULY, even if the answer hurts to admitâ
do you really know you have what you want?
or are those fleeting thoughts of doubt deeper than you want to admit?
i only want you to realize that you do not have to do this, especially if itâs tiring or seems like a chore for you.
you do not need affirmations. subliminals. methods.
and I can admit, being without them IS scary.
you feel like youâre doing nothing, ergo, you donât have what you want. thatâs how most peopleâs minds workâyou feel like you need to WORK, to do something, ANYTHING!
but you donât.
the same way you assume, consciously or not, that without work = no results; you can flip it around.
no work = results.
because all you need is the mere mindset, the embodiment, of being who you want to be.
of being who you truly were all along.
you can start small. baby steps!
maybe for an hour, a few minutes, a day if youâre daring enoughâŚ
think to yourself,
if I had what I want, what would I actually do?
what would I plan?
think?
say?
do?
and go on from there.
