Hi! Just a small fyi! I would very much like to know if I have ever said or done anything that made me come off as awfully clingy or annoying in any form. Thing is, I have autism with Asperger's syndrome, so it’s sometimes hard for me to realize if the things I say or do give me a bad impression how I behave. 

I am trying to rise up and be a better person than what I was in the past, but in order to do so I would very much like feedback if there’s something I could do better. I still have a long way to go recovering from allot of things that happened in the past, but I hope I can better myself and be an all round new and improved Ashley!

Can I just say, as great as Venom and Eddie’s relationship was, I appreciated Dan and Anne’s. Dan didn’t fall into the jealous new boyfriend category. Not once did he mistrust Anne about Eddie, showing he was totally comfortable in that relationship and trusted her totally, he was so nice to Eddie instead of telling him to stay away from Anne. It was a healthy relationship dynamic (despite Anne’s possible remaining feelings at the end) and I appreciated it and Dan as a character

Update: I forgot to add, Dan had his priorities right like when he told Anne they needed to talk about what was going on and she said there was nothing going on with her and Eddie and Dan was like ‘no we need to talk about the weird parasite thing that’s unknown to medical science obviously’ and I appreciate that he was focused on the right thing

I think part of what made the Venom movie so palatable to me was the whole situation with Dan and how it was handled as if everyone involved was a Decent Adult Person instead of the heteronormative caricatures we’ve come to expect. Just by being written the way he is, Dan makes my queer ass feel so much safer in indulging in this fandom, and I love him for that!!!

I was prepared for a boatload of second hand embarrassment at the restaurant scene but it was wonderfully resolved when Dan was like “Yes this is my girlfriend’s ex behaving inappropriately in a restaurant but also he’s obviously visibly unwell and I’m a doctor so can we all please calm the fuck down so I can get him to a hospital.”

ALL OF THIS and also Eddie’s adorable little “thank you, Dan” when Dan was helping him out and also trusting Anne’s judgement enough to believe automatically that Dan is Good People just because she’s let him into her life. SUCH A REFRESHING TAKE ON IT ALL. Dan being the same, seeing Eddie as Good People because Anne had him in her life. Dan giving them space and always, ALWAYS prioritising the right thing at the right time.

I gotta go with the SDF1 (or Macross) from the Robotech/Macross anime. I’ve always loved transforming mecha stuff and this one always made so giddy have a giant space ship transform into a mecha robot to take out tyrannical alien invaders with. All this while having a city inside the ship with living breathing civilians who constantly have to be fearful of their lives whenever the SDF1 goes into battle mode lol.
