Pros to my dad working on planting a variety of native plants and various flowers in our yard: Diverse animals in our yard and whatnot. Native bees are here.

Cons: I have a severe phobia of moths and sometimes they appear now while I’m gathering herbs and chase me around the yard like some kind of deranged commedia dell'arte bit

I am highly self aware of how rediculous my severe fear of moths is but this self awareness does not in fact stop me from running around with my kitchen scissors and tripping over my feet and jumping onto raised flowerbeds like some kind of cartoon elephant being chased by a mouse

I really like this website because somebody will be like “there’s nothing wrong with darting out from behind a parked car into traffic, bootlicker” and you can be like okay this clearly evolved from a valid point about how the US is too car-centric. But something happened to it.
