nat: AH okay so richy McRich™ goes on a boat with dad & friends and disappears for a few years and is p much assumed to be #deadaf by his friends, fam, and whole city
nat: surprise!! it's him and he's alive and v grumpy, not at all like the richy McRich™ of the past.
nat: he takes on the moniker of Green Arrow and kills the people who have "failed his city" and slowly becomes more moral between flashbacks and becomes a #hero with the help of his team (felicity is the best, diggle is great too)
nat: and sometimes he has help from the flash!! who is a lot less grumpy

“Thanks so much. I’ve been absolutely distracted all day, this was bound to happen at some point. It’s lucky I bumped into someone so friendly. Not everyone here is so nice, you know. I bet half of everyone around us would have just kept on walking and given no mind to the poor, trampled girl on the ground.” Taking some of the script from the the girl’s outstretched hands, she shuffled them back into place. “Oh!” There was a visible shift of demeanor at the question, a newfound excitement to her tone. “It’s just this little pilot; there’s an open casting call for it in about a week. I’m auditioning for the main girl, the daughter of the lead. It’s lovely. I’ve been practicing since my agent sent this thing over yesterday.” Another strand tucked behind her ear. “Not that you cared about all that. Give me an inch and I’ll never shut up.”
Ava smiled softly as the girl rambled on - to be honest, she liked that in a person. It meant she didn’t have to talk as much. “No, no, you can totally continue. I’d love to hear more about that, I’m actually into acting as well, though I’m more of a stage actress. So yeah, that sounds...awesome.”
He quickly glanced down to truly look at the appetizers she mentioned and made a face when he realized just how bad the mess was. “Yeah.. they’re a lost cause,” he sighed, but smiled up at her nonetheless. “I can pull some strings though, don’t worry,” quickly piling the last of the food onto the tray. “C’mon, let’s go back to the prep space… and figure this out, I guess.” He got back onto his feet after wiping what he could off the floor with the corner of his apron. “I’m Devon,” he mentioned, motioning for her to follow him out of the crowded space. “And it was my fault, you were probably doing just fine.. I’m the dud who zoned out.”
Ava tried to stifle a giggle at that, but failed. It really was such a mess that it was sort of funny. “I’m Ava,” She smiled, rising to her feet and wiping her hands on her work pants. “Do you know who’s event this is? I kind of just...got hired. I don’t even know what’s going on.” Ava questioned as she followed him through a huge throng of people.
“I wanted to stay at home with my brothers and Dad, Mum moved her after she had an affair, and I got dragged with her.” Meg didn’t care for hiding her Mother’s infidelity, a part of her despised her for it. “It’s really nice to meet you to, Ava.” She replied before laughing. “Hey it’s all good, I don’t mind.”
“Oh, well I’m sorry. Do you like New York, at least?” Ava questioned, giving Meg a comforting smile.

“Oh, wow. Why?” Ava questioned. She didn’t want to come off as weird or nosy, but she liked something about the girl. “That’s really sweet, actually. It’s nice to meet you Meg, I swear I’m not always this weird and tourist-y.”

Occupation: “I’m a barista at Joe’s Coffee, and a waitress at Ellen’s Stardust Diner, and I kind of just pick up any extra job on the side I can. I’m also a actress, but that’s more of a vocation than an occupation.”

PERSONALITY
Positive traits: “I’ve always been very hardworking, although that’s a blessing and a curse. I’ve been told I’m good at giving advice, and I hope that’s true. And I’d say I’m very adaptable. I mean, I moved from Vermont to New York completely on my own and I’d say I did alright.”
Negative traits: “I know I tend to be really hard on myself. I’m also really disorganized, but I make it work. And I guess I’m not the best at making friends? I don’t open up too easily.”
Biggest fear? “I would have to say it’d be not going anywhere. Never achieving anything significant, never living out my dreams. I don’t want to be stuck in a life I settled on, y’know? I don’t want to have to settle. That scares me.”
Do you have any regrets? “You mean besides stupid things like cutting all of my hair off in the 9th grade? I don’t think I have any great, big regrets. I’ve always done what I needed to do. And what’s the point of regrets anyways? Regretting is dwelling on something in the past and that can never be changed. It’s pointless, really.”
What are your hobbies? “I do theatre. Acting, singing, dancing, the works. I also love music, of course, and I love reading poetry. Oh! I like crocheting, as much as that makes me sound like an old lady. It was one of my mom’s favorite things to do, so a lot of the time we’d just sit quietly together and crochet. I guess I never completely gave it up.”
Likes/dislikes? “Um, I like singing? Eating? I like it when customers are sweet and I hate it when they’re assholes. I really like walking down Broadway in the middle of the night when it’s less busy. Although I’ve only done that once, because the one time I did it I almost got stabbed. New York is a fun place.”
What are your hopes, dreams and plans for the future? “My dream is to make it onto Broadway. It, ah...almost sounds kinda, well, dumb, saying it out loud, cause it sounds so out of reach. But that’s where I’m headed.”
Running a hand through her tousled hair Meg smiled as the girl spoke, and a small laugh left her body as she questioned about the language that she’d spoke to end the conversation with her brother. “It definitely wasn’t English.” Meg confirmed with a small smile. “It was Maori, I’m a Kiwi.. Uh from New Zealand sorry, hence the accent, and the sloppy language.” She laughed again, noticing that the girl in front of her sounded a little nervous. “Don’t worry, it’s not really a language that’s easy to pick up on from an overheard few words.” The brunette nodded as she explained, trying to make the other girl feel more at ease.
“Oh, wow, that’s really cool, actually.” Ava was always intrigued by those from other places and those who traveled, since Ava was never able to do so herself. “How long did you live there? And when did you move here? And like, what did you just say?” Ava stopped herself, laughing at her own enthusiasm and forcing herself to mentally take a step back. “I - I’m sorry. I’m Ava.”
