What hip surgery? Just ran a mile and it wasnt so bad! No I wasnt breaking any records with my time- especially while pushing a stroller. I definitely could tell I lost a lot of muscle but i had no pain and my cardio was good! Baby steps. Today I failed a few things for #soberoctober. No I didn't drink any alcohol... but I only drank 3/4 of a gallon of water. But that's not all. . I failed in a lot of things and it all started with the first failure of forgetting/ not making time to bring food from home to work with me. I instead bought a giant smoothie which while it was healthy and protein filled kept me from really being able to drink all the water I needed to. Buying food out while at work also isnt really what I am trying to achieve financially. Then later I felt like the day was already shot so I ate gluten which I'm allergic to :( I also didnt do anything to workout because I just didnt feel like it since I'm tired and dealing with some things even though I know darn well that working out is a stress relief. . It's funny how our minds can play tricks on us and let things spiral down like that and we rationalize bad choices. The cause and effect of this and being conscious of these things is what this month is about for me. Being cognizant of what I'm putting in my body, how I'm taking care of myself, how I deal with things emotionally and in my financial life. . Regardless of not having a great day I dont feel like a total failure. I'm not quitting. Tomorrow is new day and I got my #pinkdrink in the mail so I can continue the month with better health and focus.
