Dahling you simply must read this book! It’s all about this devious little caterpillar who simply gorges himself on all manner of divine things
so after buck inevitably adopts theo, i'm really gonna need an episode of buck just being driven insane by theo running around and causing chaos. then at one point chris and eddie come by to help and eddie strong arms buck into taking a nap. the next time he wakes up, it's several hours later, and chris comes into the bedroom to wake buck up for dinner. the house is weirdly silent for the first time in weeks. buck walks through the sparkly clean house (he hasn't seen what a clear floor looks like in a week) and goes to the dining room, where theo is seated all nice and calm as eddie prepared the table.
buck is absolutely speechless as he sits down, and he looks at eddie, "how the hell did you do that"
to which eddie just grins and says, "i know how to handle a buckley"
and probably winks or something because he's a loser like that. and they just smile like dorks at each other and start eating. WHAT THEN.
literally everything is wrong with them

fav books i read in 2025: tender beasts — liselle sambury;
that was the secret to being nice. you made everything about everyone else. and shoved yourself down, deeper and deeper.
Take your teddy and put him on your nose. Take your teddy and put him on your toes. Watch the teddy shake, make the teddy cry. Let the teddy bleed, that’s how the teddy dies. Tender Beasts by Liselle Sambury

i love my crashout son
i hate how non-canon ships have become so controversial nowadays, like i just miss how most people were multi-shippers. we even used to ship characters that were in different fandoms, what happened to that??

I was looking for the answers in somebody else, but… I had all the answers. I just needed to stop being so goddamn scared. Scared of who I really was. And once I did that, I was so free. It's like I could fly.
So… the name Katniss comes from the Lenape language, an indigenous tribe of the North American woodlands
And (some of) the Lenape tribe lived in Pennsylvania and New Jersey, which is apart of Appalachia, and Appalachia is (roughly) where District 12 is located. Plus the culture of the Lenape tribe according to Google is very similar to how Katniss’ father raised her: nomadic trading, hunting etc. Maybe Katniss’ ancestors on her father’s side were apart of the Lenape tribe? I used to think she might be part Cherokee, but now I’m rethinking that.
