Many porch babes. Including a few I just up-potted or moved outside, like the variegated tradescantia/purple heart and that big mother of thousands in the middle shelf.
The big pencil cactus seems to be happy. At some point I need to do a comparison pic of when I first got it versus now.
I got soaked in the rain between my store and the trolley and was feeling salty. But by the time I came back aboveground the rain had stopped and
Rainy bubs
Outdoor bubs updates.
The purple hearts are so stoked to be outside, they've grown in almost bushy with how much sun they get.
And the sempervivums are just going crazy throwing pups these days. I actually just let a few of them drop into the pots when I upgraded them a few weeks ago.
The ones I'm most stoked on are those moonstone babies that are about to flower.
I forgot to take update photos once this started blooming.
Included some closeups of the spatine and spadix
Sunday funday. Nice weather means upgrading the plants and trying to give them some more outdoor time until the weather lets them stay out long term.

I just want everyone to know this is what I call exercising restraint
Sorry she's a little dusty, but after five years my peace lily is flowering!
Allium pallium
Just for reference, this is a little decorative bowl that I put soil in, then layered some glass beads so that the garlic roots can get at the soil without the whole clove having to get wet.
Ideally, this will make it so that I can actually plant these. If it doesn't work this time, I have a bunch of bulbs that my mom left me last time she visited, so I can try with modifications.

Allium
Sorry I haven't updated here in a bit. I have some progress/growth pics and updates backlogged, but things have been up and down so this blog has been on the back burner.
I'll try to set up some posts tomorrow
On the one hand, purple hearts are great plants because they give no fucks and will do whatever they please.
On the other, sometimes you don't pay attention and this happens
So the park had some secret agent tomatoes growing in the lavender of one of the infill gardens.
Late last week, after I'd first spotted them, a parks crew took them all. Or so I thought. At least one vine escaped their work, and Hannah spotted it today.
So I took off about a foot from the vine (there's still like two feet of healthy stem and leaves hidden out there) and cut it into several pieces when I got home. With any luck they'll take and I'll have a new type of tomato to add to the family
First of the boxcar Willies to show and I am EXCITE
Basil flowers make basil seeds!
I opened up some that look like maybe they're close to ready to be dropped, as compared to the pale yellow ones you can see in the bottom of the bottom pic.
I might experiment with saving some and trying to figure out how that all works.
(Dramatic) Cherry tomato plant grown from a prop throwing it's first fruits. This one is actually looking like it might become to most productive of all the sungold plants.
The other two that came from props have started to fruit, but this is the first to be ready to pick.
