You should read The Mismeasure of Man to see just how "scientific" this whole concept is. Psychometrists (of which, again, many were literal nazis and eugenicists and wanted their ideology to be applied) have consistently taken the worst measures in regards to African, American, Asian people and the better ones in regards to European people all to justify their scale of racial superiority. This has been amply documented. Even in new books that claim to portray a modern perspective (The Bell Curve), for example, the IQ measurement for Equatorial Guinea is made from data from a school in Spain for children with development issues, and applied to the whole country as if it's worthy data. It's all racism, eugenics, ableism, all the way down.

It's not being "anti-science" if the whole thing is a pseudoscience in the first place
