How many works do you have on AO3? I have 17 total works posted! And I believe, like, two or three WIPs I haven't? I dunno, I'd have to double check.

What's your total AO3 word count? 260,118. I- I don't even know how to react to that. Holy shit.

What Fandoms do you write for? I write for mostly DC, Danny Phantom, and Artemis Fowl. I have done a Spiritfarer au and a FNAF crossover over fic though. Just one of each. No, they're not the same fic.

Do you respond to comments? Why/Why not? I actually try to respond to all my comments! I really enjoy all of them and I want them to know! (Yes, even the person who insists on leaving over 2000 hearts on every chapter) For certain fics, *cough* Rebirth *cough*, I also just enjoy torturing some of them by not actually answering their questions.

What's the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending? None of my completed fics really have angsty endings, I guess. Once I finish Now We're Stuck Here to Decay or How to Fowl A Bat, maybe? But even then, both of those fic are suppose to get more solemn but hopeful endings than just a straight angsty one. I just like hopeful endings I guess.

What's the fic you wrote with the happiest ending? I can firmly say a fic that I finished for the recent DPxDC WIP Swap, which is What Once Was Lost Must Now Be Found. Eldritch homeless boy Danny gets himself a family in the Bats. ^-^

Do you get hate on fics? Not hate, really. Some unnecessary criticism, sure, but not what I'd call hate.

Do you write smut? If so, what kind? I haven't actually really written smut. I mean I did roleplays with ocs before, but never like straight written it soooo. Yeah.

Do you write crossovers? What's the craziest one? I do write crossovers! Exclusively crossovers. XD I'd have to say Formula For a Crime Scene, which a three-way crossover with Danny Phantom, DC (Specifially BatFam), and Artemis Fowl.

Have you ever had a fic stolen? No, not to my knowledge.

Have you ever had a fic translated? I have not had one translated, no. I would not be opposed to it however, as long as I was asked and somehow tagged in it.

Have you ever co-written a fic? Yes, I have done multiple actually! All mine actually come from events. Weltschmerz is a fic I am actively co-writing as a results of Patrol Partners with @spite-sapphic-starlight, @gremlin-bot, and @half-dead-ham. Ham and Gremlin are my partners and Kate is the... stubborn QPP that got us together. XD What Once Was Lost, which I mentioned earlier, is from a WIP Swap. Gunebug started that fic, and I finished it. And then Of Clones and Time Bullshittery is a fic I started for the same WIP Swap, but Itallcomesbacktoandriel finished! I frankly adore how Andriel finished it too. ^-^

What's your all-time favorite ship? Ooh. That's a tough one. I'd have to say either Artemis FowlxTim Drake or Dead!Tired, which is Tim x Danny Fenton.

What's a WIP you want to finish but you doubt you will? So. I haven't actually posted this fic. I started in like the middle. But its a Danny Phantom, BatFam, and Scooby Doo crossover fic that I've called Danny Phantom & Batman in: The Mystery of the Mystery Kids. I'd be okay talking more about it in a separate post if people are interested.

What are your writing strengths? You see. I asked my friends about this because I don't usually get specifics, just get told I'm a good writer. Gremlin's exact quote when I asked was "I don't know I just like it." I did get complimented quite a bit on my charactizations of Artemis Fowl, so I'll take that win.

Writing weaknesses? I've been told I can make dialogue drag. Someone actually told me this in a comment telling me I should go back in fic despite me tagging the fic as "No Beta We Die Like Jason Todd".

Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language? I don't think I've done it before, but once I'm further in my duolingo lessons, I'd love to incorporate Spanish or Japanese. Especially since I adore the Hispanic!Jason Todd headcanons.

First fandom you wrote for? It's technically two cause my first ever fic was a crossover with BatFam and Artemis Fowl.

Fav fic you have ever written? I- That's just cruel. I can't pick one. I really can't. They all hit my sweet spots in different ways.

Can we talk about the tragedy that is everyone’s souls being tied to beacons? And how THE BEACONS have declared it’s humans versus vampires no matter how they actually feel?

The BEACONS can only be corrupted or holy at the end of all this. ONLY the vampires or ONLY the humans can win. Even if the town vampires had helped the humans turned the beacons, they’d still be fucked. There was no salvation for them. I mean yeah the cure but it can’t work for all of them. Only some of the get to turn human. The rest are screwed because they don’t want to kill the person who turned. (Yes, I’m looking at Avid.)

I mean Apo laid it out perfectly. She wants to leave? To make it home to Cherri? Then she has to WIN. As a vampire. She has to kill everyone and leave. And like yes, she’d probably have no qualms killing Scott and turning back to human, but she clearly isn’t thinking about that. She clearly thinks its too late for her. She’s a vampire now. That’s all she can be. Killing the humans is all she can do. (I saw someone calling her an Odysseus and its so fucking true. Someone please make an edit with Apo to “Just a Man” from epic the musical.)

And poor Legundo. He’s trying so damn hard to make it castle versus town instead of human versus vampire to save as many as possible but everything works against him. The fucking Beacons themselves worked against him. Cause at the end of the day, he can’t save everyone. And at the end of the day, It’s red or gold beacons.

At the end of this, all the beacons will be red or gold. Because the BEACONS have decided it. Doesn’t matter how any of them feel. If anyone wants to leave Oakhurst, they HAVE to win with their fellow species. And the other species HAS to lose.

It’s Vampires Verus Humans.

It always has been. There’s no other choice. ONLY ONE CAN WIN.

And you know what makes it worse?

Even if the cure works as a chain and killing Scott is enough to fulfill the first requirement for all of the vampires, we must remember the third (alleged from "Abolish's notes") condition: it needs a holy beacon nearby and curing a vampire "burns the very sanctity that enables it forever". I assume that means the beacon used for cure turns cursed and can't be consecrated back.

There are seven beacons. If Scott is killed, there are seven vampires. To bring all back to human is to be forever trapped here.

It's too late for the cure.

Oh, this hurts so much more with the new book. Part 4 of the cure. Because one, it talks about the humans being able to force the cure on vampires, but at the end it actually says cured humans can get to leave the seal of the beacons.

But its only the CURED humans. The humans that never got turned, after the beacons are corrupted by the curing, if you’re right, still won’t get to leave. Meaning that, unless they turn into vampires; Pearl, Martin, Ren, and Legs will forever be trapped.

among the vampires who've caused harm to the humans and/or to each other, they've all made excuses for their decisions, justifications for the violence they inflict on others. all of them...except apo.

apo's defense for turning on the militia, for killing their pet pig in front of pyro? none whatsoever. she admits to it flatly. she doesn't couch it in grand sweeping statements. they don't try to convince pyro or martyn to forgive them. she certainly isn't attempting to manipulate them, or anyone. she just lets it sit.

and that's always been a characteristic of theirs, that flat matter-of-fact tone. apo has never minced words. if they have nothing to say, she'll stay silent, and if she has no defense for her actions, she won't offer any. they won't even try. this makes her seem abrasive and unapologetic, which leads people to fill in the blanks themselves with the least charitable explanation they can come up with.

it's almost like she's testing them, really. seeing how far their tolerance extends. and time and time again, people have refused to extend even the slightest bit of patience and understanding. sure, maybe if apo explained herself, if she told them the details of everything she's been through, they might be more understanding. but why should she have to? why does she have to be the one to bend? she's dealing with people who will sell her out immediately for not being perfectly palatable, people who will laugh in her face when she expects a shred of common decency from them. people who outright refuse to acknowledge any of the wrongdoing they've done, only focusing on how apo could have catered to them more.

apo refuses to play their game. she makes her own choices and stands by them, and she doesn't beg forgiveness from anyone. none of them are in a place to judge her anyway.

HEALTH AND SAFETY PSA FOR ALL MY WITCH/PAGAN/SPIRITUAL FOLKS OUT THERE

Hey y’all. So I’ve seen a few posts across a few different platforms from fellow witches/pagans about finding dead/sick/dying birds in their area and I just wanted to remind everyone: DO NOT TOUCH DEAD OR DYING BIRDS.

Trust me, I understand wanting to provide comfort to them in their last moments or giving them burials, but it is very dangerous to touch ANY dead animal, but especially so with the rise of H5N1 (aka Avian Influenza) in wild bird populations. I went to college for Animal Health Sciences and let me tell y’all, H5N1 isn’t something y’all want to risk. H5N1 is HIGHLY PATHOGENIC and has a fatality risk of around 54% according to the CDC. While cases of animal to human transmission are uncommon, and human to human extremely rare, H5N1 can survive on plastic surfaces for about 26 hours and 4.5 hours on human skin, meaning that you could pass the disease onto your pets, livestock, or autoimmune compromised people around you.

I’m not making this to scare anyone, that’s never my intention. While dead birds are signifiers of various things in various cultural beliefs, please err on the side of caution and keep your distance. If you are seeing an increase of sick or dead birds in your area, please consider contacting your local wildlife authority and reporting it.
