Multiplayer game concept: Don't Fucking Touch Anything
A game where you and your teammates are brought to some kind of an area by an NPC who is some sort of an authority figure who's in charge of that area. Like let's say the NPC is a workplace safety supervisor and you're on a factory floor, or maybe the game is set in a regular home and the NPC is the person who lives there. And then the NPC gets an important call of some sort, and informs you all that they'll be gone for 15 or 20 minutes, and you're given your one single task: Don't Fucking Touch Anything.
Naturally, almost everything in the area is interactable. You can touch everything, and the things do stuff when you interact with them. Mostly they get knocked over, some of them shatter. There are things you can do to undo or fix some of the things you've done, like if you shatter a vase you'll have the option to find super glue to put it back together before the person who brought you there will come back. You just gotta be quick so the glue has time to dry!
There are goals, missions and achievements you can do to gain bonus points, but none of those will matter if you run out of time and fail to put everything back together the way it was before the NPC comes back. If they see that you've been messing with all the stuff, you fail the game.
Theoretically, you can win if you, and all of your 2-8 teammates, do absolutely nothing for the entire duration of the game session. But can you really trust your friends to sit still and Not Touch Anything for 20 minutes straight?
