Brushbuddy! Luo binghe<3 based off my prev text post bc i can't stop thinking about him
Holy shit wtf how are people just ignoring this?! This is a REAL PICTURE of an EXTRA TERRESTRIAL
you've heard of death of the author, now get ready for death of the audience: where instead of basing your reaction on a thousand uninformed opinions online, you actually read the text and engage with it
girl help there's people on this post who can't actually read my text

-- Ted Chiang, from "Why A.I. Isn't Going to Make Art"
I'm so glad they got Ted Chiang -- a wonderful writer of science fiction and thinker about technology, in my opinion -- to write this essay. My favorite line was this:
Generative A.I. appeals to people who think they can express themselves in a medium without actually working in that medium.

2. Tumblr tags reading "Years from now we're gonna be like, 'They put it in WHAT???' Like, this is it. This is our Radium."
3. Box with an old-fashioned-looking label reading, "15-day course: Vita radium suppositories." End ID]

Pixel art question: do you have any advice for doing really simplified stuff that's still like, round or flowy feeling? Really small scale, like 20x20 - 30x30 pixels.
Also, do you draw straight in pixels, or do you sketch first and then translate it?
reduce colour count and focus on shapes- don't be afraid to exaggerate shapes for readability. the smaller the pixel the less u can rely on realistic proportions
i do everything in pixel but i used to start with digital sketches first. for me drawing with just pixel is easier and faster but it'll vary for everyone. i like to draw shapes first then colour and line
