Wolverine should be made First Nations or Métis and idc. Yes I want Marvel to give their already indigenous characters more time in the spotlight I love Dani Moonstar, I want more Forge and I want more Bishop and I’m not saying they should just racebend a popular character and ignore the already existing poc characters but Wolverine is always going to be a mainstay anyways.

As to why I think he should be First Nations is because his backstory is literally about him being taken, exploited and his identity erased by the Canadian government. He’s been kidnapped and dehumanized and his “savage” like tendencies are a direct result of that dehumanization, he’s not an animal but the Canadian government treated him like one. he’s driven to substance abuse and his arc over the years is about overcoming his past and taking back his identity.

Idk as a Canadian his story so perfectly aligns with that of First Nations peoples history like it just makes sense.

The most upsetting thing about Jean and the x-men coming to the mcu is that now whenever I look them up it’s just mcu content. Like why am I getting mcu Spiderman when I look up Jean? Get him tf outta here. I honestly hate that she’s now going to be associated with Spiderman especially since mcu Spiderman is lowkey the worst one.

you know i try really hard not to have opinions on casting before i see the movie but i really hope Sadie Sink isn’t Jean Grey and she’s actually just FireStar or Spider Girl or some other character that would make more sense to be in a Spider Man film. other than the fact that Jean has nothing to do with Spider Man and i don’t want her debut to be in a Spider Man movie i really just don’t like Sadie as Jean.
