MORE THREATENINGLY Raw wheat can carry E. Coli. However, if you don’t mind making your own cookie dough, you can easily make it safely.
Take your standard recipe. Omit the eggs. Eggs serve as a binding agent to hold the cookie together. Since we’re eating the dough raw, that’s not needed. Take the flour, put it in a pan and bake it at 350 for 7 minutes. Any E. Coli is now dead.
Just mix the rest of the ingredients together as the recipe is called for and BAM, perfectly safe edible cookie dough.

For everyone’s information:
The plan for the 17th, when the adult content ban comes in, is to protest.
To do that, we are making as much noise either side of the 17th as possible, and using the site as normal.
On the 17th, dead silence.
People are saying log off but what they really mean is don’t open the site or the app.
But, on the 17th make as much noise as possible on every other platform. Tweet about it and post on facebook and instagram and everywhere else.
What this does is causes a massive dip in ad revenue for one single day. That does not make staff think ‘oh everyone’s gone let’s shut down.’ What it actually makes them think is ‘oh shit people aren’t happy and if people don’t keep using our site we’re out of money and out of jobs.’
A boycott reminds a company that the users (consumers) have the power to make their site (business) worthless with one single coordinated decision.
If you want to join in, here’s what to do:
Do:
Close all open instances of the app and site on all your devices before the 17th
Make posts before and after the 17th on tumblr and other platforms, talking about why this ban is bad
Make posts on other sites during the 17th. Flood the official tumblr staff twitter and facebook with your anger and your opinion
Come back on the 18th and check in
Don’t:
Delete the app from your phone (this doesn’t affect their revenue and since it’s off the store at the moment it’ll be hard to get back)
Delete your account. I mean you can if you want to, but if you keep your account and don’t use it you’re saying to staff that there’s still time to save it. If you delete it’s hard work to come back.
Open the app or website (including specific blogs)
Make any posts (turn down/off your queue and make sure nothing is scheduled)
Go quiet elsewhere. Make it clear that this is just about tumblr, not a mass move away from all social media.
Remember: the execs don’t care about anything but money. Shutting down the site means there’s $0 further income from it. That’s their last possible course of action. If we make it clear we’re not happy, they’ll have to do something or we can do more and more until it becomes too expensive.
Protests take commitment. They’re a defiant action against a business that is doing something wrong. They will try to scare you into not participating, because they’re scared. We hold all the power here, sometimes the execs just need to be reminded of that.

Okay but for anyone who legit wants to know how to calculate it correctly:
The elbow joint on average rests a couple inches higher than the navel, so if you measure how long the distance is from the middle of the shoulder to that point then you have the length of the upper and fore arms!
So if anyone’s wondering about legs too, the simplest rule of thumb is that the length from the top of the leg to the knee is equal to the distance between the top of the leg and the bottom of the pectorals:
And I wanna stress that when i say “top of the leg” i’m not talking about the crotch (please don’t flag me tumblr it’s an anatomical term) i’m talking about the point where the femur connects to the pelvis, which is higher up on the hips:

Thoughts
Everyone has already weighed in on this whole thing. So this will be nothig new here. However..
1. “Female presenting nipples” can you pick anything more dehumanizing, tumblr? Yet it’s odd that nipples are okay so long as they are breastfeeding. I get it. If a woman is acting as ‘intended’ by breastfeeding it’s okay but if they take pride in their nude body and show it, that’s unacceptable. Very empowering. Huge slap in the face to women’s rights.
2. Your algorithm is shit. But everyone has posted a TON of examples of that so let’s leave that point as it is.
3. Vague wording. What’s allowed? What’s not? One moment you say no nude illustrations, but then you say it’s allowed. Can you be more specific? Or will we just leave it vague so users have no goddamn idea what’s acceptable or not?
4. Assuming nude illustrations are permitted, at what point does it become sexual? Certain poses? Certain colorings? Is there a team in the staff who’s purpose is to go through these images and judge if they are too sexy to post? What are acceptable levels of sexy between allowed and not?
Tumblr, you failed to take down the influx of porn bots that flooded the site. Even worse, you failed to protect the most innocent and vulnerable of all, children. In response, you punished every user on your site and disguised it as ‘making a safer place for all’.
Don’t piss in our ear and call it rain. You allowed nazis and pedophiles freedom on your site and now want to take out your failure on the users, many of whom are artists and sex workers and rely on this platform for a chunk of income.
A safer place for all?
People are going to be terrified to post anything now out of fear of their blog being torn apart. People are seeking other platforms to back up content too suspecting they may or will be taken offline. You have successfully made this site a place where only certain and select opinions and content are permitted (nazi ideals being one such permitted opinion).
And I’ll say it one more time because I am that disgusted.
You failed.
To protect.
Children.
Even some of the shittiest and most bigoted places on the fucking internet have managed to out and take down pedophiles. Even Hardened criminals go after pedophiles to the point where they must be segregated.
And here on tumblr, they flourished and thrived.
