The Croods is HIGHLY underrated for its fantastic storyline, exquisite characters development and creativity, imaginative design and magical depiction of a world way before our own. Not to mention the animation is OUT OF THIS WORLD it’s so detailed and everything was so carefully put into plae with this film. 10/10. I love it.

When I was four or five, I used to sneak into mum and dad's bedroom in the middle of the night and drink dad's water off the bedside table that he set out in case he got thirsty. I thought I was incredibly sneaky, like a ninja, and that no-one would notice. Dad asked me once where I thought his water was vanishing to, so I told him it was probably aliens, or an elephants trunk sneaking in through the window and sucking it up.
