My notifications look so much more fun this way
This lagged my phone so bad
God. I miss my old clunky laptop because it had a CD drive on it. Do you have any idea how many songs I used to burn from old CDs on that and upload to my MP3? I had over 1,000 songs on it because of that CD drive. I was doing all of that at 11!!! They took my easy piracy away and my ability to play my "I Spy" game sets!!
Orchids are so strange, but if you know what you're doing (you don't have to have the confidence because I sure don't) you can bring them back from the dead.
This little dude was a gift to my MIL for her birthday in November and she thought it was done for after one bloom cycle. She knew I loved plants and was like "If you can revive this, you can have it."
So I took it in and realized it had a bad mold issue on it's roots and it was root bound. I gently took it from it's pot and trimmed the roots that were too far gone and used a peroxide solution on the rest of it.
Ended up repotting it, in the wrong soil mind you, and despite not pruning it like I was supposed to because I was scared I'd kill it, it came back.
This is an older photo, as it now has 4 flowers on it, but I plan on repotting it again with the correct soil as it's been trying to escape it's pot since it's bloomed.
Team Iron man fans saying that Steve was wrong for not telling Tony that Bucky killed his parents but honestly, seeing how Tony handled finding out about it, I wouldn't have told him either. Tony was already willing to throw bucky into prison or an institution IMAGINE what he would've done if he found out bucky killed his parents while they still had him in custody. Steve was doing what he always has done, protect Bucky.
People openly supporting the revenge killing of a man who had NO control over his life for the past 70 years and wasn't even conscious for the majority of it because of something he did WHILE BRAINWASHED is insane to me.
(also please don't attack me I'm just stating my opinion TwT)
This has always been why I was Team Capt. It wasn't because I liked Capt more than Iron Man, but because I just couldn't agree from a moral standpoint with Tony on how he reacted.
He was grieving and angry, and I completely understand the range of emotions that occur at the loss of your parents as I have experienced that too, but to see him blame Bucky and go as hard as he did. It just... felt wrong. Especially knowing that Bucky had zero control or memory of the events.
It was really hard not to side with Tony at first, but when I realized how quickly he was letting grief turn to a burning need for vengeance and he was pretty much just using everything else as an excuse to keep going at Bucky and Capt, I just couldn't stand by him.
I think immortality would make you lose your humanity. I think you'd need something to continue to connect with the feeling of being mortal.
I think if I was immortal, I'd own a bunch of cats. Not in the crazy cat lady way, although I'm sure a lot of people from the outside looking in would think that. I would have a big house on some really large land.
Some place that they could run around safely and not be scared of someone intentionally trying to run them down with a car or worse. My livingroom would have many carpets and pillows that they could lay across comfortably.
I would have a big fireplace so they could warm their full bellies. I would remember all their names and faces and mannerisms. I would gift cats and kittens to those I knew would love them as immensely as I would have had for their entire lives.
In the backyard, there would be a shallow pond with stepping stones that they could observe the fish from or bask in the sun on. There would be plenty of thicker oaks and willows that they could climb into and rest in or lounge under.
Further into the yard, there'd be a path into some woods with tall grass, and the sun could shine through the canopy in comforting warm rays. At the end of the path would be a large pet cemetery.
Each and every tombstone would have their full names and a loving message or memory I refused to forget. Something I could recall over a cup of tea that would bring me comfort and bittersweet nostalgia with their descendants sprawled out nearby.
They would each be cared for, loved immensely, and remembered for eternity. What feels like a moment of kindness for the immortal is a lifetime of love for the temporal, and I would do it a million times over and over again because a life without love would feel like death.
I used to use the book to PDF scanner to upload mandatory books for classes online for other students to use. My boss thought it was a great idea and told me to use it on my off time. Sales dropped for some textbooks for core classes and guess what was missing from the library the next week 😅
In all seriousness, though, no one should be paying >$100 for a textbook that they're only going to use for one semester.
Just saw a post about a bird grieving the loss of her partner bird and the caption was "The morning has come and the sun is out, but it's still dark here."
WHY DO I DO NOTHING BUT CRY ON THE INTERNET
I don't think he's saying hi...
I have absolutely not watched Smile 2, but the first one was just... so predictable and I personally didn't like it for a myriad of reasons that if given the chance I would absolutely rant about- BUT
I bet your ass I can guess how Smile 2 is gonna work. Feel free to skip incase I'm right.
The main character, being a popstar, is absolutely going to fall victim to the monster and kermit live on stage. That's why the monster chose her. If she does that, she traumatizes all her fans and anyone working on her set/watching by accident. Those people are going to hurt themselves and traumatize more people.
The monster is essentially one of those "Reblog or it's gonna be under your bed and now you can't ignore this because you read it 😈" posts that wants to go as viral as possible.
If you ever feel like you can't cook, I just.burnt my soup. I... I don't know how I achieved this.
No one in my city understands how round abouts work and everyday it makes me want to angrily email the city about adding more side walks so I don't have to deal with other idiots in 400 lb vehicles. Just because you honk, doesn't mean I'm not supposed to yield to the traffic coming through the circle. Just because you lifted your pickup and added a lightbar so you can rush home easier to kiss your father on the mouth doesn't mean I have to sacrifice my tiny ass sedan for your lack of patience. His lips can wait 5 more minutes.
sometimes i wonder what my cat named me
My orange boi will head butt me back when I lean over the back of the couch and go "Bonk." It's like a formal greeting now. I come in from work, bend over the couch and go "Bonk" as our two hollow melons make contact.
I'm not saying they would or should, but it would be pretty cool if Microsoft actually added, like, a .01% chance of Herobrine joining into a world when it's created without letting anyone know of the update.
I can only imagine what kind of internet creepypasta renaissance that would spark.
they were gay af for this i must admit

I watched skinamarink. :3 oh hey look it's essentially my childhood.
This is a very scary movie.
Or a very boring one.
Can be very triggering for those with childhood trauma. Contains a lot of unreality.
