Just saw Birds of Prey and not only was it a celebration of women masked by explosions and gunfire to the male masses, but it had one hell of a soundtrack.Ā

The Top 9 Albums of 2017
āCause after the year weāve had, we need a few to grow on...(again, all are my great, wonderful, amazing opinions)
If Emily Vaughn doesnāt become a household name within the next couple of years then the world is seriously missing out.Ā
Cover or Rip-Off? You decide.
So by now I can confidently say that most of us have heard the chart-climbing hit that isĀ āFeel It Stillā by Portugal. The Man. If you havenāt then you should listen...like now...and right here.Ā
Anyways, the reason I am writing this is because of the songĀ āIām aĀ Rebel Just For Kicksā by Dunez. You probably havenāt heard that one, so hereās a link to it. Go ahead, listen to it. Iāll wait.Ā
So life has gotten the best of me (yet again). I graduated school, went traipsing through Asia, and now I am in the real world at a full time job. Currently going through a rough patch, but hey what better therapy is there but music for a music nerd like me? Anyways....there couldnāt have been a more perfect time for Kesha to drop her new album.
Panic! At The Concert
Okay so brace yourself guys, this one is purely a text post BUT it has some kick ass links. So click away, and (hopefully) enjoy my ramblings on my latest concert.Ā
What do I love?
Yep.
Unique sounds.
One of the things I love to do in spare time is search the Music Map for new artists. Thereās the whole adage ādonāt judge a book by its coverā BUT itās more fun to find the weirdest band names and go from there....
Andrew McMahon in the Wilderness has a new album dropping February 10th and I CANNOT CONTAIN MY HAPPINESS.
The song I posted above is my favorite from the album so far, but I mean who couldnāt love an album titled Zombies on Broadway?!Ā
So I have no idea why I havenāt heard this girl everywhere by now. Not only does her music fit the Top 40/ Mainstream format but itās a sassy song that sounds cute.
My Totally and Completely Biased List of the Top 7 Albums of 2016
Buckle up. Itās back and more biased than ever.
Best TV Show Themes
Totally biased, but you know Iām right.
Bibi Bourelly has a soulful voice and tells it like it is.
Random Things That I Think Go With These Artists
Yep. This list is exactly what it sounds like.
8 Britpop Songs You Forgot You Loved
Some of the lovely British songs that swarmed the radio in theĀ ā90s and bring back that fuzzy, warm feeling. I had to watch a LOT ofĀ ā90s music videos to find the best tracks, and let me tell you, the videos were a lot more political back then. Maybe someday we can bring that back. *crosses fingers and hopes*
Old souls and movie watchers UNITE. Sing StreetĀ is a glorious picture and the soundtrack KICKS ASS.Ā
Listen to songs from the album Mad Love. (Deluxe), including "Music.," "I Can Only. (feat. Alessia Cara)," "F*** Apologies. (feat. Wiz Khalifa)," and many more. Buy the album for $10.99. Songs start at $1.29. Free with Apple Music subscription.
Today my 6th grade fantasies came true. JoJo FINALLY released a new album *que the fanfare*. I donāt know what has been up with the music industry lately, but it certainly needs an image reboot and maybe some training on how to be humane (only a little bitter that I was robbed of ten years of wonderful JoJo songs).
This album is everything I couldāve waned and MORE. She is empowering, sassy and fearless to speak her mind. Letās give a run down of the fabulousness that is this blast from the past shall we?
