Happy Moon Landing Eve! Remember to leave out milk and cookies for Buzz Aldrin and Neil Armstrong, and don’t let Michael Collins convince you to prank NASA!
If Tumblr is still here next July 19th, I fully expect this post to obliterate my activity feed.
You’re just not ready. At no point in this video when he says the next thing are you ready.
Denim Jacket
c.1850
United States
This jacket would have been worn over a woman’s work dress or blouse, most likely while she labored outdoors. Its construction mimics the fashionable hourglass silhouette of the period, with tucks that cinch at the wrists and natural waistline. Denim is typically thought of as a menswear textile, but it was also common in women’s workwear during the 19th century.

"Cats on selfies": This ad for Tesco Mobile has been running a long time now on Irish TV (in a slightly cut-down form). And it's hilarious. "Egghead. Howya?" "….Bad."
A friend told me I should be using bottled water to make my tea, since the tap water around here has a lot of chlorine in it and that’ll throw off the flavor of some of my more delicate teas.
I tried it. Boiled the water in a kettle, poured it into the cup to brew, and it all bounced right back out. Made a hell of a mess. My slippers are soaked.
Tried again, same thing. Mess all over the kitchen, hot water all over the counter and down my apron.
I called my friend to tell her about it and figure out what the hell was going on.
She said “that’s weird. I’ve never had that problem. Are you using filtered water or spring water?”
this is the greatest story ever told
