Rewriting the post because I wanted to add the picture. We are currently homeless with a negative bank account. Both me and my mom are disabled and also have 2 pets so being homeless is incredibly awful. The motel we were staying at charged us extra and wouldn’t give our money back which is why we’re so low. 06/06 Ok so update. First off, thank you those who have helped! We were able to get the Freon and gas for our car. We are still very much struggling tho and the most we could make on our delivery job was 10 dollars and only one person tipped (Postmates fucking sucks). And honestly? We desperately need to stay in a motel room for a night because there is nowhere to shower around here and I just feel awful. Thank you to everyone who has reblogged so far I appreciate it so so much.
update 06/08
another update. so first of all, yesterday i collapsed from heat exhaustion …. on some stairs. and basically, neither leg is broken but one has a severe sprain that i had to get a half-cast on and the other had a really deep scrape that hurts and will probably be hard to walk on for the next week. so basically, one leg is impossible to walk on and the other causes me excruciating pain when i do.
i’m hoping our state insurance is covering all this but at the moment i don’t know. with the help of donations we were able to stay a couple nights at a motel out of town (thank you everyone so much!) but in the end we really do still need help for a bit. especially with my injuries and the fact that our delivery job has been doing absolutely nothing lately (we got like 7 dollars in total one day???). the good news is that we’re going to go work on getting that rent voucher when we can get back into town (monday im pretty sure) but i also don’t know how long until we’ll be able to get a place to live.
tldr: i hurt both my legs really bad after collapsing on some stairs because of heat exhaustion and can barely walk with crutches. i can’t try to find work because of my injuries and our delivery job is paying almost nothing at the moment.
