I do actually quite like the idea of Espio having more than one food intolerance because it gives another angle to Vector’s whole “i’m perpetually broke but i’m still going out of my way to help others despite the cost” thing. Espio of course is going to feel a little guilty about the extra cost of the foods he actually CAN eat, and he’s going to protest and say he can tough the symptoms out, but Vector INSISTS on buying the expensive options and will gladly make his wallet suffer just for the sake of one of his boys being comfortably fed
