PENELOPE FEATHERINGTON and COLIN BRIDGERTON in SEASON 4, EPISODE 3
this is the vibe i bring to the party actually
The carriage scene truly is the best scene in the history of fucking television.
Yes yes it is
"But what if people will pretend to need this accessibility option so they can be lazy! People who don't need it will use it!!" I don't actually care
I dont care if 9/10 of the people who use the wheelchair ramp arent actually in wheelchairs. As long as the 1 person who needs it has access to it.
I dont care if 9/10 people who use the automatic push button on the library door can actually push the door open themselves. As long as the 1 person who the door is too heavy for gets to use it.
I dont care if 9/10 people who buy the can tab opener, or the little guitar clamp that holds the chords for you, or the hand grip that helps you hold chop sticks, don't need any of it and just get it to "be lazy". As long as the one disabled person who needs it gets access to it.
I do not care. Oh my GOD I do not care. As long as there's a disabled person on this planet who the accessibility device will benefit, the accessibility device is necessary.
Also, if you're so worried about people being "lazy" by using accessibility devices, MORE worried than you are about disabled (visibly or not) people not having access to them, you have unchecked ableism you need to work through.
Edit: Please stop fucking talking about the capos. I am talking about the thing you clamp on the neck of the guitar that holds/changes chords with a button, not capos. Stay on topic.
happy pride! remember that being a transgender is everything but fiction. there are so many real historical figures from every century about whose transgender identities we aren't even aware of
Good luck Nic you deserve it.🤞🤞
drug addicts deserve housing, food, water, and healthcare btw
When you tell someone about being mistreated because of your disability, there is a common response that goes something along the lines of, "But did you explain to them properly why you can't do x thing?" "Did you make sure they understood why you need x accomodation?" "Maybe they just didn't understand?"
For example: "Did you properly explain that the reason you don't do hugs is because of your autism?" or "Maybe they don't really understand how bad fibro fatigue is and that's why they got upset at you for concelling plans."
I hate these kind of responses. They give me the same vibe as being asked, "Yeah, but what were you wearing when you got catcalled?" They put the responsability for the problem onto the person who was discriminated against, instead of the one doing the discriminating. Disabled people should not be expected to go through grueling explanations or justify their needs before those needs are respected.
sexism in medicine kills people. racism in medicine kills people. fatphobia in medicine kills people. queerphobia in medicine kills people. classism in medicine kills people. ableism in medicine kills people.
do not downplay people’s fears about being mistreated because they are a part of a marginalised group. it is a matter of life and death and you should be angry about it.
“Why don’t you use ai” idk man beyond the obvious environmental and “this machine causes psychosis and encourages people to kill themselves” thing I think asking the equivalent of a solid D student who is also a pathological liar if they can answer my question/do the work for me seems pretty fucking stupid
given the current climate this pride especially i feel i must mention that i love my trans friends, i stand with trans people in the fight against transphobic legislation and those who would enforce it, and this blog is not a good place for you to be if you do not vibe with that
Okay how adorable 😊 is this!!
I swear Jess and Shonda are missing the boat on a Featherington spin-off!!

Love how much Jack Murphy loves Luke & Nic and of course, he does. He has seen the love between them grow from the very beginning. I mean, they first met in the dance studio, where Luke felt warmth from Nic right away after the first hug. 🥰
Also loved that he tagged Luke & Nic when he shared the fanart. 😀👍
I swear some of you watched s3 with your eyes closed and the t.v. muted in the next room. why in the world, two years post the season coming out, am I still seeing people claim Colin needed Debling to show interest in Penelope to have any interest in her himself? Before Debling even actually attempts courting her, Colins got his feelings locked and loaded. He's ready to court and marry her when they meet up at the willow tree, and that is pre-debling courtship. Where does this idea even come from?? Is it because she interacts with Debling for 2 seconds in the first episode? Because girl, Colin doesn't even seem to see that. I'm loosing my mind abt this.
