Prompt: Suffering
More Than a One Night Stand
Itachi Uchiha x Reader
Summary: A night out with your friends ends with Itachi coming back to your apartment. You can't complain about what happens after.
Warnings/Tags: 18+, mdni, smut, oral sex, vaginal sex, recreational alcohol use, reader insert, no Uchiha massacre, Itachi just wants a simple life and I'm going to give it to him, might add a part 2
The day had been like any other.
You were leaving your job teaching at the Academy after a long day. It was the last day of school for the week, which you were grateful for. You loved your job, but teaching a bunch of rambunctious five and six year olds how to read and write when all they wanted to do was learn ninjutsu got exhausting.
Once all the kids had been picked up by their parents, you packed your things and left the Academy building. Outside, Sakura Haruno was waiting for you.
“Hey!” she called and waved when she saw you. She was wearing her hospital uniform, just having finished her shift.
“Hi!” you said as you walked up to her.
You and Sakura had been friends ever since you were young. Your parents were long time friends, so naturally the two of you were put together as playmates. Although your paths had diverged when Sakura became a shinobi, you had remained good friends over the years. Now that she was working at the hospital and not going on as many missions, it was easier to spend time together.
Tonight, the two of you had plans to get dinner.
“How was work?” Sakura asked as you started walking in the direction of town.
“Exhausting,” you sighed.
“Same, the hospital was busy today. I’m happy we’re getting dinner because I’m starving,” Sakura said.
You smiled at her as you walked further into town. The streets were busy with people out enjoying the warm evening air. You passed shops and bars until you arrived at the ramen spot you were going to eat at. It was a new restaurant that you’d been wanting to try for a while.
It was crowded inside, but you were able to find open seats for the two of you. You both took a moment to look at the menu, and once you’d made your choices, you settled into friendly conversation as you waited for your food.
“So, how are things with Sasuke?” you asked as you took a sip of the sake you had ordered to share.
“Really good,” Sakura said with a smile. She always lit up when she talked about Sasuke. After years of pining and a will-they-won’t-they tension, Sakura and Sasuke had finally started dating. They’d been going strong for a few months now.
“His missions do keep him busy though,” Sakura added with a frown.
You nodded in understanding. As one of the most powerful shinobis in the village, Sasuke, along with his teammates Naruto and Kakashi, was assigned difficult missions that kept him away from the village for long periods of time. You imagined it must be difficult for Sakura to deal with.
“I’m sure he’ll be back soon,” you reassured her. Sakura smiled and nodded in agreement.
While you weren’t a shinobi yourself, you knew what the lifestyle entailed. You had to know because of your job. Preparing young shinobi for their life of service to the village was something you enjoyed, but you couldn’t help but feel worried for them when you thought about the danger that they might face in the future.
But, you thought, not every shinobi chose a life of danger. You thought about Sasuke’s older brother, Itachi.
You actually knew Itachi better than Sasuke. He was a legend in the village, so naturally you had known of him since you were young. He was a few years older than you, and you had memories of seeing him and Sasuke around the village with their parents. You’d always admired Itachi, marveling at how he had accomplished so much at such a young age.
On top of that, Itachi was nice. Your parents owned a dango shop, and you used to work there as a kid. Itachi was a frequent customer. He was always polite and kind, giving you a bright smile as you shyly handed him the dango. Sometimes, he would stay to eat the dango in the shop. When he did, he would make conversation with you. He’d ask about what you liked to do, what your favorite flavor of dango was, and you would quietly answer his questions, feeling nervous and shy whenever he’d look at you.
When Itachi joined the Anbu, he didn’t come by the shop as much. You found yourself missing his visits. You had a vague idea about what the Anbu was, and you couldn’t help but feel like someone as kind as Itachi didn’t belong there, even though you knew they needed his skills.
Itachi stayed in the Anbu for years. Meanwhile, you’d stopped working at your parents’ shop and started teaching at the Academy. You got your own apartment and felt lucky that you had a place of your own and a job that you loved.
One day, you were sitting inside your parents’ shop grading student work when someone walked in. You looked up and saw that it was Itachi.
You were a bit taken aback. When you looked at him, you realized it had been longer than you thought since you last saw him. The combination of time and harsh Anbu training had hardened his features, and he looked like the adult he now was. He still had the same dark eyes and black hair, but the lines of his face were sharper and more defined. He’d aged well.
“Hi,” Itachi greeted you. He also still had the same warm smile.
You stopped checking him out and returned his greeting. He ordered some dango from your parents, and after he received the food, he walked back to you. He looked at the stack of papers you had on the table.
“You’re a teacher now?” Itachi asked curiously.
“Yeah, I have been for a few years,” you replied. Itachi smiled again.
“I might need your insight, then, because I’m being assigned a team of genin,” he told you. You looked at him in surprise. You’d thought he was still in the Anbu.
“Did Lady Hokage reassign you?” you asked.
“No, it was my choice,” Itachi said, which surprised you even more.
Itachi Uchiha, the guy who graduated from the Academy at seven years old, who was next in line to lead the Uchiha clan, whose name had been floated for the next Hokage, wanted to teach genin?
“Why?” you asked in disbelief. Itachi thought about his answer for a moment.
“I’ve always wanted to teach young shinobi,” Itachi said, and then he smiled like he was thinking of a fond memory. “I used to help my brother train, and watching him work hard and master jutsu was gratifying in a way that nothing else I’ve done has been.”
You looked at Itachi in awe. You hadn’t expected this from him, but at the same time, when you thought about how thoughtful and caring he was to everyone, it made sense. You could see him leading a team of genin who looked up to him. You’d just thought he’d take a different path—a path of dangerous missions, of glory and fame, all to become the next Hokage. Becoming a genin instructor didn’t seem like the way to do that, but you respected his desire to help young shinobi.
“Well, that’s very noble of you. I’m sure the genin will be awestruck when they find out Itachi Uchiha will be teaching them,” you said.
Itachi smiled at you softly.
“I’m not so sure they’ll like me,” he said, almost sounding nervous.
“Why not? I think it’d be impossible not to like you,” you replied earnestly. Itachi gave you a curious look and then smiled.
“Thank you,” he said. You smiled back at him.
Itachi looked at the clock on the wall and then back at you. “I need to get going,” he said. “Thank you for the dango.”
“Of course,” you said, feeling disappointed that he was leaving. Itachi looked at you for a moment longer and then turned to walk away. You watched him go.
Before he exited the shop, Itachi turned to you and said, “I’ll see you around?”
You blinked at him before quickly nodding.
“Yeah, see you around,” you said. Itachi smiled one last time and then left the shop.
Ever since that day, you’d seen a lot more of Itachi. He was often at the Academy because of his new job. Whenever he was there, he always came by your classroom to say hi. Sometimes, he’d come at lunch, and the two of you would eat together. You would talk, too, and you had gotten to know Itachi pretty well.
It had now gotten to the dangerous point where you looked forward to seeing him.
“Enough about me,” Sakura said, snapping you out of your thoughts. “What about you? Have you been dating anyone?”
“Um, no. Not really,” you said. It was the truth. You’d been going through a long dry spell. You told yourself it was because you were too busy, but the truth was that there was no one who interested you—no one except a certain Uchiha genin instructor.
“Why? You’re too gorgeous to not be dating anyone,” Sakura said with a frown.
“There’s no particular reason,” you said, shrugging your shoulders. Sakura looked at you curiously.
“You know, Sasuke talks about Itachi a lot,” she said. You looked at your friend, confused where this was going. “He says Itachi spends a lot of time with you,” Sakura continued.
You couldn’t help the flush that spread over your body. The only way Sasuke would know that was if Itachi talked about you.
“Yeah, we’re friends, I guess,” you said, and then added, “He comes by the Academy a lot, but it’s because of his job.”
“Uh huh...” Sakura said as she looked at you mischievously. “Well, not that it would interest you,” she continued, “but Itachi is single.”
That did interest you. Itachi hadn’t mentioned a girlfriend, but you just assumed he had to have someone. As next in line to lead the Uchiha and being the respected shinobi he was, the village mothers must have been throwing their daughters at him.
And with the way he looked, there was no shortage of interested people.
“Well, maybe you should be helping him then,” you said in an attempt to deflect the conversation off of you.
Sakura laughed and changed the subject. You two chatted for the rest of dinner. The food was delicious, and you knew you’d be coming back to this place. You’d also finished the bottle of sake, and the combination of the alcohol and food left you newly energized.
When a waiter came to collect your empty bowls of food, Sakura said, “Hey, I have an idea.” You nodded, urging her to continue. “This week kicked my ass and I need to blow off some steam,” Sakura said. “We both don’t have to work tomorrow, so what if we went out tonight?”
You considered her proposal. You’d also had a long week and had just been planning to go home, take a warm bath, and read a book or something to relax. This idea, however, sounded more fun.
“Yeah, let’s do it,” you said. Sakura pumped her fist in celebration.
You both got up and left the restaurant. You decided to go to Sakura’s place to get ready (which was strategic on your part so you could steal her clothes). On the way there, Sakura messaged Ino and Hinata who were home from missions and said they’d meet you at a club in downtown Konoha. Ino was able to get a table anywhere she went. It was an ability you envied.
At Sakura’s apartment, you both got cleaned up and ready for the night. While Sakura showered, you looked through her closet. She had a lot of clothes, and you landed on a dress that looked like it would fit. It had thin straps and a low neckline.
“You should totally wear that,” Sakura said when she got out of the shower and saw you eyeing her dress. “And I have the perfect shoes,” she added, handing you a pair of heels.
You thanked her and went into the bathroom to change. Once you had the dress on, you began to regret your decision. Evidently, you and Sakura weren’t the same size, so the dress was tight. It clung to your body and plunged low down your neck just far enough to make you feel a little exposed. You decided to get a second opinion.
You left the bathroom and found Sakura by her closet choosing her outfit.
“I don’t know about this. What do you think?” you asked her. Sakura turned around and when she saw you, she grinned.
“It’s perfect,” she said.
“You sure?” you pressed, looking down at yourself.
“Yes, you look hot. No teacher clothes tonight,” Sakura declared. You laughed and decided to forget about your insecurities. You were going to have fun and wear this dress, and it felt nice to get dressed up. You did, after all, spend most of your time in your modest teacher wardrobe.
By the time Sakura was ready, it was nearly time to leave. The two of you downed shots from a bottle of liquor in Sakura’s freezer, and by the time Sakura locked her apartment door, you felt a pleasant buzz from the alcohol.
Konoha came alive at night. There were people everywhere going into bars and restaurants or just milling around enjoying the night air. You and Sakura stayed close together as you walked, avoiding bumping into people and weaving through the streets.
You finally arrived at your destination. The club was marked with a neon sign, and you and Sakura made your way inside. It was dark and loud with music blasting from large speakers. You held Sakura’s hand as she led you through the crowds of people to where the tables were. It took a minute, but you finally found Ino and Hinata.
“Heyyy!” Ino cheered as she waved you over to the table she and Hinata were sitting at. You all hugged and then you sat down. Ino informed you that she had already ordered a round of shots for the table.
“You look so good,” Ino said to you as you waited for the drinks.
“So do you,” you replied.
“Soo, Sakura tells me you’re still single,” Ino said with a grin, and you looked at Sakura who raised her hands in a “I was just trying to help” gesture. You gave her a playful glare and then looked back at Ino. “My mission tonight is to find you someone,” Ino declared.
“Oh, that’s not necessary,” you said.
“Yeah, aren’t you single too, Ino?” Sakura added playfully.
“That’s not relevant, forehead,” Ino retorted. “Tonight’s not about me.”
“We should just have fun tonight,” Hinata joined in. You smiled at her in agreement. You knew that Hinata wasn’t interested in anyone unless they were Naruto, and Ino had been trying to get Sai to ask her out, but the man was unfortunately clueless.
The shots arrived, and the four of you cheered and downed them. You grimaced as the alcohol burned your throat.
“Alright, who’s got the next round?” Ino said. You volunteered, and Sakura got up with you to order the drinks from the large bar. The bartenders were busy, so you and Sakura had to wait. As you were waiting, Sakura looked over your shoulder and made a face like she recognized someone.
“I’ll be right back,” Sakura said, squeezing your shoulder before darting into the crowd of people. You couldn’t see where she was going, so you just waited for your drinks and figured she’d come back.
You were facing the bar, and after a few moments, someone came up to stand beside you. You turned your head, and then nearly jumped when you saw who it was.
“Hey,” Itachi said, making an amused face at your startled reaction.
“Itachi?” you said in surprise. “What are you doing here?”
You realized that that was probably a stupid question, but your brain wasn’t working like it usually did, especially not now that Itachi was right next to you in a place where you didn’t expect to see him.
One thing your brain did clearly note was that Itachi looked ridiculously good. His hair was pulled back in its usual style, but he was wearing a tight shirt that clung to his torso in a way that his normal shirts didn’t. It showed off his toned figure, and you knew he had to be watching you blatantly check him out, but you were drunk and couldn’t stop yourself fast enough.
“I’m here with some friends,” Itachi said, and his voice caused your eyes to focus back on his face.
“Really? I didn’t think you were the going out type,” you said, still rattled by his presence.
“Not usually,” Itachi laughed, “but it’s Yamato’s birthday so I agreed to come.”
Yamato had also recently become a genin instructor, and you knew that he and Itachi had been friends for a long time.
“That’s nice,” you said.
“Are you also here with friends?” Itachi asked.
“Yeah, but no special occasion,” you answered. You felt like you were screaming because the music was so loud, but you hoped you sounded somewhat normal.
Itachi smiled, and then his eyes left your face. You watched as they moved down your body. You weren’t sure if he’d meant to do it, but you stood still as his gaze trailed over your tight dress. Maybe your drunk mind was making things up, but you thought you saw his eyes linger on your chest before looking back at your face. You suddenly felt very hot.
To make things worse, the song had changed, and the music was even louder now. This meant that Itachi had to lean down so you could hear him.
“I almost didn’t recognize you when I was walking over here,” Itachi said. His mouth was next to your ear, and from this close, you could smell him. You guessed he had showered before coming here, because despite the humid club air, he smelled clean and like something spicy and masculine that had your heart racing.
“It’s this dress,” you said. “I feel a little ridiculous in it.”
Itachi pulled his head back a bit so you could see his face.
“You shouldn’t,” he said.
The tone of his voice had heat rushing to your face. You shyly looked into Itachi’s dark eyes, eyes that you knew held incredible, dangerous power—eyes that were completely focused on you.
You were interrupted by the bartender finally placing the tray of shots you’d ordered on the counter.
“Looks like you’re having a fun night,” Itachi joked as he looked at the alcohol.
“It’s not bad so far,” you replied with a smile, which Itachi returned. He then quickly got the bartender’s attention and ordered his own drinks, presumably also for his friends. You didn’t want to leave him, but you knew your friends were waiting. They’d ask questions if you took too long.
“I should probably bring these over,” you said, picking up the tray of drinks.
“Of course,” Itachi replied. “Go enjoy your night.”
“Thanks, you too,” you replied. You lingered for a moment longer and then finally turned to walk away. You did your best to maneuver through the people as you walked back to the table you’d been sitting at, but all of the uncontrolled limbs made that difficult.
Right when someone was about to accidentally knock the tray out of your hands, Sakura appeared, seemingly out of nowhere.
“Hi, sorry,” she said, rescuing the tray from your unstable hands.
“Where’d you go?” you asked curiously.
“Um, nowhere. I thought I saw someone I knew,” Sakura answered, but there was a suspicious note to her voice.
You finally made it back to the table. Ino and Hinata cheered when they saw the drinks, and you all quickly downed them. This time, the burn wasn’t so bad.
“Come on, let’s go dance,” Ino said, and then the four of you made your way through the mass of people and onto the dance floor. Ino pushed into the crowd and carved out a space for you to fill in.
The music was so loud here that you could feel the vibrations in your body. The multicolored lights flashed around you as you danced with your friends, relaxing your body and getting lost in the music. You and Hinata watched and laughed when Sakura and Ino started to engage in what looked like a dance competition.
You were having fun, but your mind kept wandering to Itachi. There were people all around you, and you kept glancing at them to see if he was one of them. You wondered if he was dancing with someone. You wondered if the group of friends he was with included women, and you wondered if he was going to leave with someone tonight.
No, you told yourself. That wasn’t like Itachi. And if it was, why should you care? The two of you were just friends. You liked having him as your friend… your friend who was also the star of your sex dreams and secret fantasies. Itachi was your incredibly hot, nice, and romantically unattainable friend. Even if you did like him, it wouldn’t matter because there was no way he would ever like you back. He was Itachi Uchiha, pride of the village, and you were nobody, just a teacher.
Sakura grabbed your hands to dance with you. You decided to stop thinking about Itachi for the night. You let Sakura twirl you around and laughed when she almost tripped over someone’s shoe. At one point, you saw Ino making out with a random guy, and when you asked her what his name was after she had left him, she said, “No idea.”
It was a lot of fun. Eventually, the four of you took a break for some air. You navigated out of the crowd of dancing people and back to your table. You and Sakura waited there while Ino and Hinata went to use the bathroom.
When they came back, you saw there was a group of people with them.
“Look who I found!” Ino said.
You didn’t recognize any of them except Yamato. And, of course, Itachi. He was standing next to a tall woman with dark hair. She was beautiful, and you could tell immediately from her build that she was a shinobi.
“Happy birthday, Yamato!” Sakura said and gave him a hug.
“Thanks, Sakura,” Yamato replied.
You tried to avoid looking at Itachi, but eventually you couldn’t stop yourself and your eyes wandered to him. Unfortunately, he caught you looking and the corner of his mouth quirked up. You quickly looked away.
“We have to get you a birthday drink,” Ino said to Yamato.
“Yeah!” Sakura agreed. All of Yamato’s other friends insisted on buying more drinks, and he sheepishly went with them as they walked him in the direction of the bar.
“You want anything?” Sakura asked you as Ino and Hinata followed Yamato.
“No, that’s okay. I’ll just wait here,” you said. Sakura nodded and said she’d be right back. You sat down at the table to get a much needed break from being on your feet all night.
You looked around at the people and were surprised when a minute later, you saw Itachi come back. He was holding a plastic cup with clear liquid in it.
“I thought you might want this,” Itachi said as he approached the table. He held out the cup to you.
“Oh, thank you,” you said, feeling touched that he’d gotten you something. “But I don’t think I can drink anything else tonight.”
“It’s water,” Itachi said with a smile. For some reason, that made you feel even more touched. You gratefully accepted the cup and chugged the cool liquid. It was refreshing and just what you needed.
Itachi was still standing, and you suddenly felt awkward. Being alone with him always made you feel nervous.
“Do you want to sit down?” you asked. Itachi looked at you for a moment and then accepted your offer. The table was a booth-style, so he sat down next to you on the bench. Itachi was relatively tall, and his long legs took up a lot of the room under the table, leaving only an inch of space between you.
“How’s your night going?” Itachi asked.
“Good,” you said, “but I almost got taken out by Sakura and Ino’s dance moves.” That made Itachi laugh. “What about you?” you asked him.
“I’ve mostly been helping Yamato avoid having to dance at all,” Itachi answered. “And trying to stop Izumo and Kotetsu from asking the DJ to announce that it’s his birthday.”
“Sounds like you’re a good friend,” you said with a laugh, which made Itachi smile. His leg moved to the side and brushed against yours. You felt the material of his pants against your bare skin.
For some reason, you couldn’t stop thinking about that woman he was with. You needed to know what their relationship was, but you didn’t want to ask him directly. He’d probably think that was weird.
“So…” you drawled, “did you meet anyone interesting tonight?”
Itachi raised his eyebrows.
“What do you mean?” he asked.
“You know..” you said, wishing he’d just understand what you were trying to ask, “did you meet anyone cute? I’m sure you had girls coming up to you all night.”
Once the words were out, you regretted this entire line of conversation. Itachi probably thought you sounded ridiculous.
You waited for Itachi to say something, but he was just looking at you. His eyes roamed your face, as if trying to decide how he wanted to respond.
“Why would girls be coming up to me?” Itachi finally asked. He wasn’t making this easy for you to get out of.
“Because you’re you, and every time I’m with you at least one person hits on you. All of the teachers at the Academy think you’re hot, you know, and I’m pretty sure the entire village would agree,” you said and then shut your mouth before you could say anything else to embarrass yourself.
Itachi had a look on his face that you couldn’t decipher. He met your eyes, then he looked down your face, almost at your mouth, then back up at your eyes. His leg pushed lightly against yours.
“And you?” Itachi asked. You didn’t know what he meant, but after a pause, he added, “What do you think?”
You felt heat rush to your face. You knew you had walked into this, but you had no idea how to answer. You didn’t want to tell him the truth, but it would also be obvious if you lied. Did he really care what you thought about him?
“Um,” you said, still not sure how to answer. You became even more unsure when Itachi’s hand brushed your knee. The touch scrambled your thoughts. He was looking at you expectantly, waiting for you to answer. He was so close to you, and you couldn’t stop yourself from lowering your eyes to his mouth.
You were interrupted by the sound of voices near your table. Itachi took his hand off of your knee.
“Itachi, you’ve gotta help me get out of here,” Yamato said. Sakura, Hinata, and Ino had also come back.
“Yeah, they’re trying to make him do birthday shots,” Ino informed you. Itachi laughed and then stood up.
Sakura looked between you and Itachi.
“Why don’t we all head out together?” Sakura suggested.
You nodded, feeling like you were satisfied with the night, and got up. You and your friends followed Itachi and Yamato as they walked to the exit. You didn’t miss the stares they got from people along the way.
Outside, the night air was cool and refreshing. There were still tons of people in line to get inside the club. It must’ve been close to early morning by now.
You hugged Ino and Hinata before they left. They lived near each other, so the two of them set off together. Yamato and Sakura lived in the same part of town, and Yamato offered to accompany her home.
That left you and Itachi.
“Hey, don’t you two live in the same direction?” Sakura said. It was true that your apartment was on the way to the Uchiha neighborhood, but you had been trying not to think about that.
“Yeah, we do,” you answered quietly, looking at the ground.
“Be a gentleman and walk her home, Itachi,” Yamato said. You looked up and saw that Itachi was looking at you.
“Is that okay with you?” he asked.
There was no reason why it wouldn’t be, except for the fact that the idea of walking home alone with Itachi made your pulse race.
“Yeah, thank you,” you said to Itachi. He nodded and smiled.
While Itachi gave Yamato a final birthday hug, you turned to Sakura.
“Thanks for coming with me tonight. I had fun,” she said.
“Me too,” you said in agreement. “We should do this again.”
Sakura smiled and pulled you in for a hug. As she let you go, she grinned at you suggestively.
“Enjoy the rest of your night,” Sakura said. You sputtered at her implication, but she just smiled and waved at you as she walked away with Yamato.
You turned to look at Itachi, who you were now completely alone with.
“Should we go?” he asked. You did your best to compose yourself and nodded. The two of you started walking in the direction of your homes.
You were still a little tipsy, and you tried not to trip or do anything embarrassing while you walked. Itachi was beside you, keeping a respectful distance. You looked at him, and then despite your efforts, a bump in the sidewalk caused you to trip.
Itachi reached out a hand to steady you. He also laughed.
“Hey, don’t make fun of me,” you joked. When Itachi continued to laugh, you said, “Not all of us can be like you and never do anything embarrassing.”
“I’ve done embarrassing things,” Itachi replied. You looked at him skeptically.
“Oh, yeah? Like what?” you asked. He considered your question.
“A girl came up to me tonight and started talking like she knew me, but I had no idea who she was. I think I accidentally called her the wrong name,” Itachi said.
“So you did have girls coming up to you,” you declared.
Itachi rolled his eyes playfully. You laughed. The nervousness you had felt around him was gone. Now you felt comfortable as you walked beside him.
When you walked past a dumpling stand, you looked at it longingly. Your stomach made a noise.
“Do you want to get something?” Itachi asked with an amused eyebrow raised.
“You don’t mind?” you asked.
“No, this is one of my favorite spots,” Itachi said. “Including your family’s dango shop.”
You gave him a shy smile. The two of you walked over to the dumpling stand. You each ordered something from the man working there. The food smelled so good that your mouth watered.
You both sat on stools at the empty counter while you waited for your food. You talked and laughed together, and when your leg pressed into Itachi’s under the counter, he didn’t move away. You both stayed like that until your food came.
You took it to go, and you both thanked the shop owner before you left. You continued walking, and after a few minutes, you reached your apartment building.
Itachi walked you to the front door. You paused before you walked inside.
You weren’t sure what to do now. You didn’t want Itachi to leave, but you were embarrassed to ask him to stay.
“I’m glad I saw you tonight,” Itachi spoke, bringing you out of your thoughts.
“I am too,” you said with a smile. The two of you stood there looking at each other, neither one of you moving.
“Well, goodnight,” Itachi finally said.
“Wait-” you called just as he turned to walk away. Itachi turned back around when he heard your voice.
“Do you want to come inside?” you asked before you lost the nerve. You held out your bag of dumplings. “We can eat together.”
Itachi hesitated for a moment.
“Are you sure?” he asked.
“Yes,” you nodded. Itachi grinned.
“Lead the way then,” he said and followed you inside. You led him through the building and to your apartment door. You felt his presence behind you the entire way.
Once you unlocked your door, you and Itachi went inside. You kicked off your shoes and then walked to your kitchen counter to put down the bag of dumplings. Itachi followed you after taking off his boots.
You brought the container of dumplings to the coffee table in front of your couch. You felt Itachi’s eyes on you as you walked through your apartment. You sat down on your couch, and Itachi sat next to you.
“Your apartment is nice,” he said.
“Thanks, it probably doesn’t compare to the Uchiha compound, though,” you replied.
“I’ve thought about moving. There’s no privacy there,” Itachi said. “And I have to share a bathroom when Sasuke’s home.
You laughed, but then you imagined Itachi in the bathroom. Naked. With water dripping down his body from the shower. You must’ve still been drunk.
You looked at Itachi’s exposed arms. They were really nice arms, toned and strong from years of intense training. He had nice hands, too. His fingers were long and slender.
“Can I ask you something?” you said. You weren’t sober enough to stop yourself.
“Yeah,” Itachi nodded.
“Why don’t you have a girlfriend?” you asked. Itachi leaned back on the couch and considered your question.
“I suppose there’s no particular reason,” he answered.
“But you could have anyone you want,” you insisted.
Itachi looked at you then. This look was different, like he really wanted you to hear what he was saying.
“I’m not interested in just anyone,” Itachi said.
You met his eyes. His stare bore into you. You shifted in your seat, which caused your dress to hike up your thighs. You tried to pull it down, but it was futile. It was too short to cover much of anything while you were sitting.
Itachi watched. He wasn’t even trying to hide it.
“Who was that woman you were with tonight?” you asked.
“A friend,” he answered, slowly looking up from your legs to your face.
“Is she your type?” you asked.
“No, I don’t see her like that,” Itachi said.
“What’s your type then?” you pressed.
Itachi kept his eyes on you. He didn’t answer right away. He crossed his arms, making his muscles flex with the movement. You watched and wondered if you had accidentally left the heat on in your apartment. You were way too warm.
“Someone kind,” Itachi finally said. “And smart.” You looked at each other while he spoke. There was just a small amount of space between you on the couch, but it was too much. “Someone I can’t take my eyes off of,” Itachi finished, looking into your eyes.
You couldn’t think of anything to say. All you knew was that the urge to touch Itachi had become so strong that you kept your hands in your lap. You played with the hem of your dress, feeling restless. It was a stupid idea to bring him up here. Itachi adjusted his position on the couch, spreading his legs, and all you could think about was climbing into his lap.
“Do you want some water?” you suddenly asked and stood up quickly.
You didn’t wait for Itachi to respond as you walked over to your kitchen. You took out a glass from your cabinet and filled it with water. As you did, you heard footsteps. You put the glass down and turned around. Itachi was standing behind you, leaning against the kitchen island.
“Can I ask you a question?” he said. The deep tone of his voice sent a shiver through your body.
“Yeah,” you said. Your voice was quiet.
“Why did you bring me here?” Itachi asked as he took a step closer to you. “Because you said it was so we could eat together,” he said, looking over at the coffee table where the food was sitting untouched, “but you don’t seem that interested in eating.”
You looked at Itachi. He was close enough that you could smell him. Your senses were overwhelmed by him.
“I don’t really want to eat,” you admitted.
Itachi took another step closer to you.
“Then what do you want?” he asked, his voice low and a little rough.
It had to be clear what you wanted, but Itachi was asking for you to say it. Whatever happened next was going to be your move. He was leaving the choice up to you.
Even though you could think of a million reasons why you shouldn’t do what you were about to do, you couldn’t find it in yourself to care anymore. Itachi was in your apartment, standing just inches away from you, and you didn’t know if you were going to get this chance again.
You took a step forward, closing the last meaningful distance of space. From this angle, you had to look up at Itachi. With your heart racing, you brushed one of his hands with yours. You looked at him to see his reaction, but he was still, waiting to see what else you were going to do. Slowly, while trying your best not to shy away from his gaze, you trailed your hand up his arm. His muscles were firm and smooth, and his skin was soft, with the exception of a few scars he’d collected over the years.
When you got to Itachi’s shoulder, you paused. You brought your other hand up to his other shoulder, and then you moved them both down to his chest. You felt the hard, defined muscles under his tight shirt. You felt his heart beating fast.
Itachi looked down at you. From this close, you could see the different colors reflected in his dark eyes. His eyes were the source of his power, and you kind of wished you could see them turn that bright red that made people fall to their knees in front of him. You knew that with one flash of those eyes, you’d be completely at his mercy. You weren’t sure why that thought had your thighs clenching.
Your hands moved down Itachi’s chest, but he grabbed them. He took a step forward, forcing you to step back. He kept walking until your back hit the kitchen counter.
You waited for Itachi to do something. His eyes trailed down your face until he was looking at your mouth.
“Are you sure about this?” Itachi asked. His voice was strained, like he was trying to hold himself back.
You didn’t hesitate.
“Yes,” you breathed.
Itachi reached a hand out and cupped the side of your face. His thumb dragged over your lips and stopped at the side of your mouth. Your lips parted instinctively, and you pressed your body against Itachi’s.
“I’ve thought about this, you know,” Itachi said, which surprised you. “What it would be like to kiss you. Every time I’m with you at the Academy or wherever else, I think about it,” he spoke with his voice low and breathy.
“Really?” you asked, feeling a bit dazed. “I thought you always came by the Academy because of your job.”
Itachi smirked.
“I like my job, but not that much,” he confessed.
You looked at him and smiled, feeling more confident after his admission.
“I think about you, too,” you said. “All the time.”
Itachi’s eyes dropped back down to your mouth. He then moved his head next to your ear.
“What do you think about?” Itachi asked. His voice sent a shiver down your spine.
“I think about kissing you,” you said, your voice coming out in a whisper. “I think about you kissing me, what it would feel like to have your lips on my skin.”
You nearly gasped as you felt Itachi’s mouth on your neck. He kissed a spot under your ear.
“Like this?” Itachi breathed.
You nodded. Your chest was rising and falling rapidly as Itachi continued to move his lips over your neck. He kissed down your throat and back up, making your legs feel weak. If it weren’t for the counter and Itachi’s body in front of you, you would’ve fallen.
As Itachi kissed your skin, his hands settled on your hips to pull you closer to him. You moaned softly as your bodies made contact. Itachi brushed his hands up your sides until they were right below the line of your bra. He took his mouth off your neck.
You were breathing heavily as Itachi’s gaze focused on your mouth.
“Itachi-” you pleaded.
The sound of his name on your lips seemed to finally break whatever restraint he had left. He finally surged forward and connected your mouths.
You couldn’t help the sound you made when you finally kissed Itachi’s lips. It was better than anything you’d imagined. His mouth was incredibly soft against yours, and you desperately kissed him back. You wrapped your hands around Itachi’s neck. He deepened the kiss, pushing you back into the counter.
Itachi’s tongue slipped past your lips, and you groaned as he greedily explored your mouth. You felt lost in all of the sensations—his tongue, his mouth, his body against yours.
Itachi moved his hands from your sides to your back. He dragged them down over your ass until they were on the back of your bare thighs. He bent his knees, and then he picked you up. You wrapped your legs around his waist, and you both groaned as your bodies connected. He placed you on top of the counter, and you used your legs to pull him closer to you.
“Is this what you imagined?” Itachi rasped between kisses.
“Better,” you said, barely able to speak.
Itachi smiled against your mouth. The two of you kept making out like you never wanted to stop. You felt yourself getting wet between your thighs, and it got worse when you felt Itachi’s hardness against your leg. His hand was on your thigh, just shy of the hem of your dress.
“God,” Itachi breathed, his voice unlike you’d ever heard it. “Do you even know how beautiful you looked tonight?”
Itachi’s hand slipped under your skirt. You felt his fingers brush against your panties.
“Itachi, my bedroom,” you gasped, not wanting to continue this here. You needed to feel him on top of you.
Itachi grabbed the back of your thighs and picked you up. You kept your legs wrapped around him tightly as he carried you to the open door of your bedroom. Once you were inside, he put you down gently. You looked up at him, and he brushed a piece of hair out of your face.
You kissed him again, fisting your hands in his hair. You heard him groan softly, and he put his hands on your ass, pulling you to him. His hands stayed there, toying with the material of your dress and pulling it up your thighs.
Itachi pulled away. His eyes were almost completely black.
“Lie down,” he said.
You eagerly did what he said. You climbed onto your bed and rested against your pillows. Itachi followed you, crawling over your body until he was on top of you. He kissed your lips, then your neck, and across your collar bone. He moved his mouth to your chest, kissing the exposed cleavage from your dress. You writhed underneath his touch.
Itachi then moved down your body until his face was near your thighs. You were breathing hard in anticipation as you felt his breath so near where you needed him the most. He lowered his head to kiss the inside of your thighs, lightly grazing the sensitive skin with his teeth. You thought you were going to go insane if he didn’t touch you soon.
You looked at Itachi and reached for the skirt of your dress. You pulled it up, showing him what you wanted. He watched as your legs became completely exposed, along with your panties.
“Please, Itachi,” you begged.
He didn’t waste any more time. Itachi pulled your underwear down your thighs, and you kicked them off the rest of the way. The clothing landed somewhere on your floor.
Itachi sat back and looked at you, exposed and breathing heavily underneath him.
“You’re gorgeous,” he said, making you flush.
Itachi finally leaned down and put his mouth on you. You gasped when you felt it. He kissed your folds, and you made a loud noise when he licked up your center. You didn’t think you’d ever felt so good. The way Itachi was using his mouth, so confident and sure, made you wonder where he’d learned to do this. He was better than every guy who’d done this to you before. Maybe he was just naturally gifted, which was very possible given his many other talents.
You felt your pleasure building as Itachi focused on your clit, thoroughly stimulating every part of you.
“I imagined this, too,” Itachi said, and his voice against you like this made you whimper. “I imagined how you’d taste,” he said, licking your entrance and making you moan, “and the sounds you’d make.”
“Yes, Itachi, please,” you pleaded as he continued to work his mouth against you.
When you lifted your hips as the sensations became too much, Itachi forced them back down. You moaned and writhed as he licked and sucked your clit, and it didn’t take much longer for the ache between your thighs to reach its peak.
“I’m close,” you breathed, and Itachi kept up his movements. He kept going until finally, your pleasure climaxed. Your entire body shook with the aftershocks. It was unlike anything you’d felt before.
Itachi kissed the inside of your thigh before crawling back up your body. You kissed him, wrapping your legs around his waist. You felt him hard and straining against his pants. You reached down and ran your hand over Itachi’s crotch, making him groan.
You needed the rest of your clothing gone. You pulled down the straps of your dress, and Itachi helped pull it all the way off. You sat up, grabbing at Itachi’s shirt. He lifted his arms, allowing you to pull it over his head. When his shirt was off, you took a moment to admire his body. His torso was lined with defined muscles, and you greedily took all of it in. You looked at the necklace that rested against his collar bone, down to the trail of hair that led from his navel into his pants. He was unreal.
You reached behind you to undo the clasp of your bra, and Itachi watched as he pushed his pants down his hips. Once you were completely naked, Itachi pushed you back on the bed. Still wearing his briefs, he settled on top of you, kissing your chest. He kissed between your breasts, and you whined when he moved his mouth over one of your nipples.
As Itachi’s mouth focused on your chest, you reached between your bodies, palming the hardness under his briefs. He groaned and then pushed the underwear down his hips. You gasped when you felt him against your leg.
“Itachi, I want-”you gasped, “I need you.”
Itachi took his mouth off your chest and looked at you. You wrapped your legs tightly around his waist, spurring him on. He kissed you, and you both groaned when his dick brushed against your entrance.
Itachi kissed you once more, and then he finally pushed into you. You gasped when you felt the stretch. Itachi was breathing hard.
“You feel incredible,” he said, kissing the side of your neck.
“So do you, so good,” you gasped.
You squeezed your legs around Itachi’s waist to get him to move. He exhaled shakily and then pulled his hips back. He pushed back into you, making you moan loudly. He kept up the movements, and even though you’d just come, you quickly felt the ache returning.
“I wanted to rip that dress off of you the minute I saw you tonight” Itachi said into your ear. The way he spoke surprised you. He was usually so composed, so polite, but this was a different Itachi. This Itachi had lost all sense of composure as he thrusted his hips, hitting deep inside you. You liked this side of him.
“I probably would’ve let you,” you confessed.
Itachi groaned and the movements of his hips got more forceful. He kissed you messily, driving into you in a way that had you seeing stars. He whispered words of encouragement and praise as he thrusted his hips, and you ran your hands through his hair, moaning into his mouth as you kissed.
When Itachi pushed your legs back to reach even deeper, you knew you weren’t going to last much longer. He didn’t relent, keeping up the pace as he drove into you. You couldn’t think about anything except for him inside you.
After only a few more seconds, you came hard. You clenched around Itachi’s dick, and he continued his thrusts until he finished, coming inside of you. You laid underneath him, breathless and spent.
Eventually, Itachi pulled out of you. He kissed you, and your mouths moved against each other lazily. You didn’t think sex had ever left you feeling this good.
After another minute, you got up to use the bathroom. When you came back, you saw that Itachi had put his briefs back on. He was sitting on the edge of your bed.
“Are you leaving?” you asked.
Itachi looked up at you.
“Do you want me to leave?” he replied.
You looked at all of your clothes strewn around the floor. Itachi’s shirt and pants, your dress and underwear. Then you looked at Itachi sitting on your bed. You were still having trouble processing what had happened. You had fucked Itachi Uchiha, and you wanted to do it again.
“No,” you said. “Stay.”
Itachi grinned. When you walked to the bed, Itachi pulled you into him, flipping you back underneath him.
No, you definitely didn’t want him to leave.

Unfortunately unintentional homoeroticism often beats out intentional lgbtq romance because it’s allowed to be more toxic because they don’t have annoying bitches yapping in their ear that it’s bad lgbt rep

I see a lot of "what to read if you love ASOIAF" recommendations, and I wanted to try my hand at recommending some new ones based on which aspects of the books are your favorite:
if you like the prophetic dreams with beautiful, symbolic imagery and a side of deconstructing the Hero's Journey all wrapped up around themes of identity and metamorphosis, read Ladivine by Marie NDiaye
if you like the representation of how growing up in a particular place in the aftermath of great war and violence influences your worldview and politics, and how that worldview and politics changes over time, all centered on incredibly well-written women characters from childhood to adulthood, read The Neapolitan Novels by Elena Ferrante
if you like a complex fleshed-out world with history, religion, customs, politics that are all richly rendered in an almost anthropological way, read The Dispossessed by Ursula K. LeGuin
if you like a cast of characters who are misfits, outsiders, people deemed “freaks” by society written with a deep romantic streak and a moral frustration with the cruelty of mainstream culture, plus a tenderness and respect for the interior lives of children (and especially if you are an Arya fan), read The Heart is a Lonely Hunter by Carson McCullers
if you like seeing a group of people thrown together by circumstance become unlikely allies and work together in a complex examination of power and morality plus some pretty weird sex, read Lilith's Brood by Octavia Butler
if you like suicidal, depressed knights grappling with the inherent violence within, read literally any Lancelot story (I started with Chrétien de Troyes, but there's a whole world)
if you like the Winterfell murder mystery and all the very strange characters involved, read Drive Your Plow Over the Bones of the Dead by Olga Tokarczuk
if you like a big cast of characters with complex emotional lives and also you love Jon doing agrarian economics so the Night's Watch can survive winter, read Anna Karenina by Tolstoy
if you like figuring out what the hell Littlefinger's financial schemes are and plumbing the depths of court intrigue to uncover a secret, read Lady Joker by Kaoru Takamura
For those who need to hear it. To be ten pounds overweight is barely noticeable. To be ten pounds underweight is cause for concern if not outright alarm.
The primary health impact of being fifty pounds overweight is medical neglect. The primary health impact of being fifty pounds underweight is organ failure.
Skinny =/= healthy. You can not underfeed yourself into balanced nutrition. You can not subtract your way towards a healthy diet. You can not exercise all the spare calories off because bomb calorimetery is a joke of a scientific model that would have been laughed out of any other field.
幸福是…?
