One of my favourite things about Lost Records is how you could ship literally any of the four girls with each other and it would just make sense no matter the pairing 🦋☀️🌙🐦⬛

I'm thinking about Nora's design, and how in Tape 1 we're first shown her having dyed red bangs. Yet, for the concert she adds even more color in her hair. To me this represents Nora finding her identify with the girls, or even a metaphor for the girls adding color to her life.
But then adult Nora has white and black hair. All the color has been washed out, which does fit with what we know about Nora's life post 1995. She's given up on her music dreams and is in an unhappy marriage with a women who hold's her back instead of lifting her up in the way Swann/Kat/the girl's friendship did.
I think Nora's hair is a metaphor for her joy and how comfortable she feels being herself. She starts the game happy and as herself, then becomes even happier and more confident as Swann and Kat become a part of her friend group. Then after the events of everything she's become a "washed out," version of herself who struggles in the aftermath of everything and has lost herself in adulthood.
I love when dyed hair is used for character metaphors. Nora Malakian you'll always be famous.
Has Safi thought about, oh I don't know, seeing a therapist?

Hold me (back)
Echos and shadows
Of fleeting kisses, petals pressed to petals,
So intoxicating that the effects still linger
On my tongue, even months later.
Breaths caught in throats, fingers place
Softly against them, feeling the vibrations, feeling
My name be uttered by you.
Oh sweet Eros, why must you be so cruel?
All good things must come to an arrupt halt.
My very insides try to claw out of me with
Talons sharpened by envy, merely at the
Thought of another tasting you.
I am shredded. Scattered. Shattered.
My mind has been lost for many a moon now.
The civilised human attempts to locate it.
The primal beast rages at what has been lost.
Kiss me again. Oh, kiss me kiss me kiss me.
I love this post especially the rat part

Roses are red, that much is true, but violets are purple, not fucking blue.
I have been waiting for this post all my life.
They are indeed purple, But one thing you’ve missed: The concept of “purple” Didn’t always exist.
Some cultures lack names For a color, you see. Hence good old Homer And his “wine-dark sea.”
A usage so quaint, A phrasing so old, For verses of romance Is sheer fucking gold.
So roses are red. Violets once were called blue. I’m hugely pedantic But what else is new?
My friend you’re not wrong About Homer’s wine-ey sea! Colours are a matter Of cultural contingency;
Words are in flux And meanings they drift But the word purple You’ve given short shrift.
The concept of purple, My friends, is old And refers to a pigment once precious as gold.
By crushing up molluscs From the wine-dark sea You make a dye: Imperial decree
Meant that in Rome, to wear purpura was a privilege reserved
For only the emperor!
The word ‘purple’, for clothes so fancy, Entered English By the ninth century
.
Why then are voilets Not purple in song? The dye from this mollusc, known for so long
Is almost magenta; More red than blue. The concept of purple is old, and yet new.
The dye is red, So this might be true: Roses are purple And violets are blue
.
While this song makes me merry, Tyrian purple dyes many a hue From magenta to berry And a true purple too.
But fun as it is to watch this poetic race The answer is staring you right in the face: Roses are red and violets are blue Because nothing fucking rhymes with purple.
