Idk it’s like kinda devastating bc I’ve worked w her in AI-free capacities and she is FULLY capable of doing this w out AI, and TBH she would do it better. Her writing is better. Her sense of design is better. Her communication is better. But now she’s serving AI slop and I’m SO frustrated.

What depresses me is this is her dream project. It’s something she’s very passionate about and authentically moves her, but all of that feeling that I know she has is just sapped out bc every single thing is generic, clunky AI imagery and writing. It’s an absolute disservice to what I know she COULD do, but it’s bogged down behind all this garbage and it’s just incredibly frustrating!! Especially when she really helped me w my career while working for an absolutely hostile employer. That job had me second guessing not just my career but my literal capabilities as a whole and she 100% is part of the reason I didn’t jump ship career-wise. So for her to just be using AI for everything now just… leaves a yucky taste in my mouth.

if you put potatoes in your medieval european style fantasy world people will by and large not find it jarring and accept it as a normal fantasy trope

- my eyes are BURNING after going outside to take the trash out (bc of the poop and vomit)
