I am appalled and disgusted by the blatantly inaccurate portrayal of DID that 9-1-1 decided to include in their newest epsiode.

I am tired of having to remind y'all to have basic fucking empathy. I am tired of having to repeat over and over again that DID does not make people inherently dangerous. I am tired of show writers not doing the bare minimum research. I am tired of this stupid story line. It was bad when Split did it, it was bad when Criminal Minds did it, and it was bad this time around. Please for the love of god, stop perpetuating harmful stereotypes.

It especially hurts to see this from a show that I hold so much love for.

We are human too and deserve to be seen as more than dangerous monsters.

It is 2025, this should not still be happening. Fuck you ABC. Do better.
