Today I referred to Jesus Christ as a type of sourdough (rises) in casual conversation with my mother. She barely chuckled. My sense of humor is wasted on this family.

Remember how in Yellowfang's Secret they had a plot point about a cat who was forced to have a litter she didn't want and every time she tried to get some support or sympathy from others she was met with complete dismissal because 'what kind of woman doesn't want to be a mother'? I do.

Really experimental piece, I've never done any sort of collage thing like this! Lizardstripe, the border swirls, and the 'cherubs' drawn by me, all the cutout pieces come from Mother's Day/baby shower cards or free-to-use PNG tumblr blogs. Black and white text is a direct quote from her in YS.

AU where the Corrie guard finds a loth cat that kinda looks like a fox, and Thorn decides to name him Cool Fox.

Regular Fox makes you do your job. Cool Fox is better than that.

Fox: we have a shift with the chancellor later. Be on your best behavior, I’m not getting electrocuted today.

Thorn: Cool Fox says that the people have a duty to overthrow governments that no longer serve public interests, and instead threaten the safety of the people for the benefit of the few. and that my actions do not dictate palpatine’s punishments, as he is serving as an unjust ruler, therefore existing as a figurehead for the corrupt government we are duty bound to overthrow.
