Man, I agree and I don't care if it's cringe to say so. My mom has been saying that she remembers the bicentennial when she was a kid, and people were hyped up. She said sidewalks and poles were painted with the colors of the flag. Now? You only see mentions of the 250th anniversary in advertisements trying to cash in on it, really. But among people, nobody’s heart is in it. It could've been great. This person is right and this was part of what was so gutting about 2024; it was the best of American ideals vs the worst of American society...and the worst won. It's still hard to sit with.
It’s just fucking infuriating that we’ve had to deal with this pig ruining everything he touches for 10 years straight because, for various reasons, people refused to take the world’s biggest walking red flag seriously. I know nihilists will say "well this is Good, you see, cuz people shouldn't celebrate America ever cuz America Bad" but here in reality, we're allowed to be angry because it never had to be this way. It was always so avoidable. There are so many people I will never forgive.
“I love America more than any other country in this world, and, exactly for this reason, I insist on the right to criticize her perpetually.”
— James Baldwin
Here's my hot take as the Fourth of July reaches nighttime here on the East Coast: this country is facing its greatest internal, existential threat since the Civil War, and just like the first time, those racist, anti-democratic motherfuckers will lose and their time will end. They're pulling out all the stops and it still won't be enough to destroy the country and turn it into their fantasy Confederacy, as long as people don't stop fighting. "A republic, if you can keep it." It's always been up to the people. Here's to 250 more, babyyyy *mutes post before potential screaming in the notes reaches my notifications lol*
My main takeways from the NYC primary results:
The fact that leftists care more about tearing down Democrats than fighting Republicans further cemented my absolute hatred for them. This was never about progress or improving the lives of marginalized Americans. The only thing they cared about was justifying their brand of bigotry and playing the roles as tyrants.
People talk crap about California but at least they had enough sense not to entertain the fake ass ego driven champagne socialists.
One potential upside will be the showcase for the rest of the country why anyone affiliated with the DSA shouldn’t be trusted.
I need more rational Democrats to fight back against the DSA for side knifing the party in broad daylight and bring focus on fighting Republicans so we can get the hell out of the hellhole presidency. Their gender, race, religion, home state etc. is a non-factor. As long as they’re not a deranged DSA shithead, they have my support.
New York City normies are just going to have to feel the burn of having elected a wacko who thinks prisons should be abolished. Over here, Portland had to learn its lesson the hard way about electing the far-left. It literally took destroying a bunch of the city and making it completely unaffordable for the lesson to just recently start sinking in (and we're going to be paying for that hard-learned lesson for years).
People who live in blue states/districts become complacent. They'll have to suffer to get jostled out of it. But the people who will suffer immediately will be the ones who didn't enable it (in this case, NYC Jews and other minorities).
And now that you got a bunch of affluent white NYC gentrifiers online calling themselves the Tea Party and threatening Black/Jewish Democrats that "You're next", are we finally ready to talk about how the left is a white grievance movement? Are we ready yet? Or are we still pretending these are good people?
Don't talk to me about party solidarity after Mamdani stabbed Espaillat in the back to endorse Chevalier.
And she pushed out a representative who was a very strong voice against ICE.
rinasonline 6 years since SAWAYAMA... this album changed everything for me. Nothing has been more special than seeing all the love it continues to receive from you guys 🤍 The songs still go rock hard even in 2026. I love you and can’t wait until we’re out here celebrating the next one…
I wanna see what love looks like when it's triumphant.

INCREDIBLY CONCERNING SPIKE IN ANTI-BLACKNESS IS HAPPENING RN.
Some of yall may have heard some of the shit that has been going on right now. I'm gonna give a quick run down of some of the stuff that has been happening. Note, this is not all, and it may never be all as much as I will try to update this.
(I am going to try and compile and briefly explain these as much as I can. There may be misinformation. Please inform me if I got something wrong.)
(This will also be updated with additional information and new topics added.)
1) Racist Chinese Dolls.
There are these dolls in China that are being called "Natasha" baby dolls. These dolls are not only very obvious caricatures of black people, but they are being advertised as a "stress relief" in which the people who buy these abuse it in various ways.
This links to a video of a compilation of the various "uses" of the doll. There are more in the replies of the tweet. (Another link to the same tweet just incase)
2) The Mocking, Abuse, and Dehumanization of Black Children.
Apart from the aforementioned doll, there are apparently people going around mocking, abusing, and dehumanizing black children.
Some people have compared black children to the doll.
Others have been going into African countries and have found ways to mock, abuse, and dehumanize black children for clout.
(Source 1 + Full Video) (Source 2)
There are more videos surfacing.
3) Black people are going missing.
Black people, especially children and teens have recently been going missing at an alarming rate. Some of these same people are turning up dead, deaths being ruled as "suicides."
While it generally unknown why many of these people are going missing, many suspect that their disappearances, deaths, and even lack of coverage is rooted in anti-blackness.
The following is a list of black people that have been reported missing as of recently. Please note that this is not a complete list (it may never be completed due to the fact that many of these disappearances will still occur as time passes) this may contain inaccurate information. Please inform me if that is the case.
By the time you see this, some of these people may have already been found either alive or deceased. This post will be updated overtime.
It is also heavily encouraged that you reblog this with more links to recent cases of missing black people if you are aware of any that aren’t included on this list.
