It would have been nice if we got, I dunno, a tape measure or a T-square or something along those lines in our CAMP building sets… those sorts of tools seem kinda, uh, essential for the whole endeavor. But what do I know.

Even without them, I’ve found other ways to line things up nicely.

At first, I was going to show this to you guys using the squares of my diner floor there, but I realized that not everybody is able to make the hot-shot fancy floors. So I needed to figure out a way to get some nice straight lines without involving any premium CAMP features, and this is what I came up with!

There are lots of different structures and patterns in the various workshops that can be used as ‘rulers’ for arrangements that you might want to build. At the Red Rocket Mega Stop, for example, the floors inside the dining area have a really nice square pattern.

Hopefully this little demonstration might inspire you to come up with your own measured blueprints!
