tips to creating an immersive experience in the community
while the radqueer community already has a lot of people in their own niche/clique sections, group of friends, etc, i noticed a lot of users still tend to feel left out and wanted to share ways to make it so everyone was getting some type of interaction! please note that these are some ideas that would help bring different people together, and doesn’t necessarily just have to be from this list!
tagging, rebbloging, and referring! if you see a post that you enjoy: reblog, leave a comment, tag someone that reminds you of that post. not only does this bring more engagement to push the post up but you’ll be finding more people that share similar interest, thus bringing more friends into your circle!
if you see someone that has made art, follow 1.* and make your own art! if you like it enough you could even reblog it! this might inspire them as it did yourself and they’ll join and share theirs!
i know these two may seem redundant, BUT i see A LOT of posts with 400+ likes 50> reblogs and almost 15> comments!!
treat your blog like a diary!! because it a way it is! add stickers, gifs, anything that you’ve made, anything that looks cool even if it’s “cringe,” post consistently and make sure to tag the community, always, share the little things! something that made you happy or share a game or song you like, compile a list and share it with others!
we had such a surplus of people trying to emulate each other, when we’re supposed to be being unique- ourselves. you can’t base your entire account to one specific group within the community because you’re blurring together. just because you’re transharmed, doesn’t mean that you’re just transharmed, there’s more to you: maybe you’re a painter? maybe you make weird gifs? or maybe you like comedy or are great at improv ? implement it into your account! stand out from others and be your own!
everyone is looking the same because we’ve been dumbing down what is appealing, what gets more attraction, but everything is so half assed that you can’t tell who’s who.
honestly this is just the tip of the iceberg and there’s a lot more that i wanted to talk about, but i’ll have to make a separate post for it because i used up all my brainpower 😞 in the meantime ->
