Hi honey, hope u doing well

MY CANDY LOVE; married life with Castiel!

Reblog if you write fan fiction
Doesn’t matter if you write in a frequent basis, or once in a blue moon, just how many of us are there?
have you considered that ummmm. close your eyes and open your heart. believe in yourself, that's how it starts
You get it.
This is exactly what Superman stands for.
Superman was created by two second-generation Jewish immigrants in the 1930s.
He was created to represent Jewish refugees, partially-assimilated immigrants, and orphan refugees. They couldn’t admit it at the time or he would never have been popular.
Whoever Little Light is they understand Superman far more than the majority of people.
Superman is the hardworking Hispanic immigrant who has developed a taste for apple pie.
The Muslim who plays baseball between prayer calls.
Every immigrant who still speaks their own language at home.
This is perfect and I love you for it.
Image description: a series of tweets from Little Light @burnlittlelight. Tweets read: 1) Honestly I’d love a story where the folks at the Daily Planet reveal they knew Clark Kent was being squirrelly about his ID but they checked his legal records, assumed he was just an undocumented immigrant from elsewhere on Earth, and respected/protected his privacy and safety. 2) They’re all investigative journalists or whatever. Maybe they knew Clark was being evasive and facts weren’t adding up and he didn’t need those glasses but figured it was just to hide from La Migra and chose not to look into it further. Mystery solved. He’s a decent guy, lay off. 3) In the modern era of the Internet and all, it makes way more sense. And it establishes them as both competent and kind. “You think he’s *Superman*? Shoot, no, step into Perry’s office for a minute, keep your voice down, we can explain. We checked up on all of this a while ago.” 4) Why doesn’t he ever do the employee physical? Why is he always running off to take care of vague stuff without good explanations? Why does he claim to be from “Smallville,” which is obviously made up, and never mentions any relative but his parents, who don’t look like him? 5) Whenever there’s the kind of crisis where the police would show up, Clark’s nowhere to be found. He never goes to the doctor. He’s so shy. He works so hard and never really has anyone over to his place. And we all choose to leave it at that, because we care about him. 6) What does a quiet, hardworking, hyper-polite guy who knows a lot about farm work look like to you? A guy who pays a lot of attention to when sirens go off? Who has secrets, but who never seems to do anything unethical or wrong, who is an exaggeratedly model citizen? Just saying. 7) Maybe Clark doesn’t even know this is why his secret identity has been working this well, because nobody wants to freak him out, until a Dreamer intern or something gives him a friendly “Your secret’s safe with me, brother, we’ve got to look after each other” at the copy machine. 8) And then you get a story of Clark finding community and kinship and solidarity with all the human beings whose parents also sent them, with desperate hope, from catastrophe-wracked homes to somewhere there might be a better life, who understand him better than maybe anyone else.
Starting to think a cooler headcanon for Clark’s upbringing might just be that the entire town of Smallville collectively decided to just go with it and accept that Martha and John's kid has superpowers, but we don't talk about it.
Someone's tractor gets stuck and nothing can get it out? "Be a dear and run down to the Kents, would you? Ask for Clark?"
"Why Clark, we need a machine--"
"Run along now."
Or if he kicks too hard and the football vanishes into the upper stratosphere, no it didn't, we all collectively saw it land over there *vague hand movements*
Clark: *does anything beyond human limits*
Smallville citizen:
The Kent's found an abandoned baby in a cornfield? Well good for them they've been longing for a child for years
I swear that Kent boy was running faster than that train...welp none of my business
Jonathan! Your witch child busted my tractor!
these are small town Midwest farmers they ain't saying shit to FEDS
I was gonna say, Midwestern rules says as long as that boy is polite and respectful (of course he is), there's no reason to ask any questions.
Imagine the nosy bitch (there's always a nosy bitch) going, "Oh, he's their ADOPTED son" and the OUTRAGE. "Oh, is your daddy your step-daddy, Lauren?"
"How could you say that???"
"Because everyone knows you don't look a thing like your daddy, but you sure look like his cousin."
I also like how this can mirror Bruce; Batman only lets a small handful of people in on his hero identity, but most of Gotham has no idea who he is... meanwhile, more than half of Smallville knows about the Kent boy, and they just keep quiet around a few folks they don't trust
When Superman starts showing up on the news all of smallville collectively smile and go and congratulate the Kent’s “you know Martha I just knew that boy of your’s would grow ta some good,” they have a potluck whenever he wins some big fight and are all holding their breath when he get hurt, also every single person in smallville will curse out Lex Luther on a whim,
Look, despite what some people might think, country folk aint stupid. Simple sometimes, sure, but not stupid. So when three events happened in quick succession, it wasn't hard to connect the dots.
First, there was the shooting star. Meteor. Meteorite. "That green blaze of light that went cross the sky screaming like a banshee's flute". Whatever you're going to call it. Anyone who was up at the time saw it. But nobody heard any sound of it hitting ground. And with all the fuss it was making, you'd figured you would. Everyone would've just figured it burnt itself up while stretching through the sky. Except.
So, did you know that in order to register your baby (and get a SSN) all you need is a proof that people acknowledge you birthed the child? (You need.2 documents).
This can be a birth certificate from the hospital, yes.
But can also be:
Doctor, clinic or hospital record.
Religious record.
School daycare center record.
School identification card.
(yes, I did the research for fanfic. Did you know there's something called "Superman exception"? Haha :) )
Oh, do you know who can give those in a small town?
The neighbours 👀
(sure, it was snowing. So what if no one knew? We all know she was so scared in previous pregnancies.)
Oh, I have a WIP about Martha Kent, who had several miscarriages, and the whole town just goes "IT'S HER BABY".
*Thumbs up* Headcanon accepted.
when I’m sad I remember sky being beaten up and I’m happy again
both bloom and brandon have a type and it’s chaotic blondes with abandonment issues.
Stella as Witch of the Moonlight
Winx by Tasia
I feel like the real reason Brandon and Sky were able to get away with the whole switching places when people would instantly recognize who’s who because they aren’t even close in color palette is by the fact that Brandon has better people skills than Sky does.
Brandon is good with people, terrifyingly good. Can almost make anyone a friend of his. Whether it be his friendliness or flirtiness. People would see that and be like, he’s a prince so yeah he’s good with people. Royalty deals with people all the time. They need to tread lightly as to not offend someone or they’ll have a declaration of war on their doorsteps.
Sky…he’s adequate. I feel that he’s not that skilled with people and always seems to put his foot in his mouth in situations. And mostly, it’s because he acts on emotion a lot. Which may or may not be as the result of not having his feelings feel seen/heard and told to just fucking stomach them as a child (I may have been in therapy for a long time).
I mean what do you think? I’m going off of what I have seen and interpreted. I might be wrong.
Bloom romanticizing Domino and the life she could’ve had if the ancestral witches never attacked 🤝 Daphne the child soldier remembers Domino as a hyper-religious global superpower who talked first and asked questions later
I could ship nearly every winx together you have no idea of the things my lesbian brain is capable to do.
Anyways if you have a fave winx x winx ship lmk about it because I love hearing about other people's sapphic ships hehe
I will be shipping every Winx with each other fuck them specialists
My pookies, at last. I have no doubt Stella goes everywhere perched on Brandon's shoulder like a parakeet.
I've also, finally managed to render decent hair, but refuse to learn how to do a background, so this will have to do for now. The clothes could use some more work, but progress is progress I guess...
I only post on Tumblr, do not post this on other sites without authorisation!
Who should I draw next?
Greeting your Highness!
As my plot changes I keep coming back with questions, I hope I'm not being terribly annoying, do feel free to tell me if I am.
I'll try to keep it short, Character A is married to B. B is a low ranking noble (haven't decided how far up the ladder he is yet), and he dies. The title goes to his firstborn son who's about 6 or 7, who is more likely to be his regent? (Very patriarchal society so I'm not counting on his mom). Could the king choose the regent? Could the king take away the child and give him a job in court to educate him? Since his father is dead and there are no grandparents.
Are families with no titles allowed to be present at court? Could they leave when they wanted to? For example: my husband is away at war, I'm going back to my own house cause I don't like it here?
If a prince/princess is heir to a throne and they married someone of lower standing, maybe even a peasant (gasp!), what should the new consort be educated in? And who would provide that education? I'm guessing politics, economics, geography, history, and protocol, but is there a more thorough list for me to look up?
Thank you so so much 🧡🧡🧡
Usually it would be an uncle or a close male relative on his father's side but even in a patriarchal society, a mother would sometimes take charge until her son is old enough. The King might take a hand in the matter but he would probably allow the child's mother to take charge as long as she and the child are safe and she is capable. He may take a godfather like role and check up on the situation but if the mother can handle it, he will let her.
Yes non titled aristocrats and gentry can be at court. They command less privilege but they are still welcome and would have a decent place at court. Anybody who is a guest at court could leave but only at the crown's permission and 'not liking it' wouldn't be a great excuse, perhaps an application to return home to deal with the estate may be more acceptable.
Everything they will ever need. Literacy, geography of their new land if they don't know it, basics of the history, have a grasp on economics but that isn't required, but mainly it would be protocol. They would have to know the role of a consort in and out.
So so helpful, thank you duchess 🧡
