I got into Fallout 4 a few years ago and promptly contracted brainrot. In June 2024 I fell down the fan-created content rabbit hole and started writing Cat in a Hot Tin Suit, and in November I started drawing again.

Just your annual heads up, Northern Ontario is actively on fire with little resources from the provincial government to combat them. Over 144 fires on record, you've seen the fire from Armstrong and another from Collins, but several First Nations along the corridor have lost their homes and have been displaced. Please keep them in mind this season as the fires have devastated their homes and displaced them, some were evacuated to Niagara where they face indiscriminate racism.

It took Diane a while to muster up the courage to ask Danse for a tattoo. He has a machine rigged up by the afternoon and not long after he starts on her request. She passes time by asking about the stories behind his many tattoos, and he happily tells them.

@autumnrose40 had the brilliant idea of Sole asking a heavily tattooed Danse for a tattoo and I just had to draw it!!

Did this really quick on my lunch break because it was such a fun idea lolol

Danse and Cutler were out looking for scrap when they came across an old box of Christmas decorations. The nukes were dropped right before Halloween, someone had to start stocking up for it lol

Danse unrolls a poster with all of Santa’s reindeer on it, Cutler comes up and points at Dancer, “Huh, looks just like you!” They laugh and move on, but Danse keeps the poster in his pocket, looking at it every so often and imagining what the holiday was like back then.

It’s a while before that fateful night, but when the two stumble past the glowing sign after a pretty good day, Danse pulls out the poster and heads into the shop, ready for his first tattoo. Cutler helps get him ready, the location was mainly because Danse was so drunk and laying down was the only option lolol

Yesterday I had to say goodbye to the sweetest, most bestest girl in the world. Meeko (government name Caramel Macchiato) was rehomed with me when she was 9 years old, at the end of 2019, along with her "sister" Baloo. She was obsessed with drinking from the faucet, and would 100% cut a bitch for a lick of dairy product. She wasn't a lap cat (although she did sit on me three whole times!) but she was always close by. Very soft purr. If I walked up to her while she was lounging in the cat tree, sometimes she would give the center of my forehead a single lick. It always felt like a benediction.

This works best if you keep windows closed.

Another design is using 2 20x25x1 filters, taping them to the sides of the box fan and then to each other so they sort of make a triangle, then cutting cardboard to make a top and bottom to the triangle.

This was discovered as a more effective design during the 2020 US west coast fires.

I’ve personally used both the flat single-filter version AND the triangular two-filter version, and based on subjective personal experience I would argue that the benefits from the second filter, both in terms of airflow and filtration, are absolutely worth it. If you need a makeshift air filter and you have two filters to work with, build the triangle (if not the box, i have no idea how good that one works but based on the info here i presume it’s a fair bit better.)

Feeling a bit nostalgic ⚓️

At first all the tattoos were for fun, but after joining the Brotherhood and leaving Rivet City, he makes sure to remember the story behind each tattoo. Even if there was no specific reason, like him and Cutler were drunk and got whatever was offered, he remembers every single one.

Spent a little while yesterday coming up with some designs, most of the items are based on versions from fallout 3 like the lantern, brahmin, and switchblade. This was really fun!! I have an idea for his back too 👀
