Its been a while...

So Kit Harington is in Belfast, and everyone is freaking out because surely that means Jon Snow isn't dead right? Probably, probably not. One thing for sure is that if Jon Snow is truly dead, then fans of the show shouldn't freak out too much. We all know Jon Snow is the loveable idiot, and the fans want him to kill everyone and be victorious, and so forth, but this is Game of Thrones! Usually when a somewhat important character dies its for the benefit of the story, and that is precisely what GoT is. If Jon Snow is dead, then deal with it, if not then all is right in the world of stupid.

That would make sense, however it is also a strong possibility that Jaqen H'ghar never meant to get caught. He is a Faceless Man and they have strict rules about killing people, so maybe it was forbidden for him to kill his way free. After all, he does serve a god (or the one god, whichever you like) and to go against that would be somewhat sacrilegious.

Also, he was on his way to the Nights Watch simply because Yoren chose the 'best of the bunch' in the Black Cells at Kings Landing to take there, including Rorge and Biter. Whether Jaqen knew he would meet Arya on the way isn't known to be coincidence or not just yet.
