If i had a nickel for every time i had a ship with: 1. one red headed girl and a boy with a police captian/sheriff for a father. 2. the two are clearly the smartest in any given room. 3. one of them is a teenage detective (or basically is) while the other has a surprising amount of weirdly useful knowledge. 4 .that know each other better than anyone else. 5. have had multiple soulmate parallels and everyone can see it but them. 6.  one fell way before the other. 7. the detective one's mother died of a terminal illness and has the best tv dad.  8. has to deal with the supernatural in a small town
