That unadvisedly-colorful scarf. Shudder!🤯 This is the fourth of 13 designs I did this month for a wedding commission. The groom wanted the guests to find their seats at the reception using the designs rather than using table numbers. Tom Baker, the 4th Doctor Who actor, is famous for wearing That Hideous Scarf. The Scarf That Shall Not be Named! Burn it at the stake, I say!🤢 The snake was a hallucination that a Sontaran (alien) army commander tortured the Doctor’s companion with to assess humans’ ability to withstand fear to facilitate an impending attack on us poor lil humans😩 The tank was disintegrated by Robot K1, a humanoid robot that had been built to steal nuclear launch codes and blackmail governments with them. The brief was to include the actor’s name, That Ugly Scarf, and add any background I wanted. Since Tom Baker played Doctor Who in the 70s, I chose 70s graffiti style as an influence for the typography.
