Pulled Pork Pizza - Slow Roasted pulled pork, Roasted peppers, Pineapple, Cilantro, and Jalapenos held together with Mozzarella & Gouda cheese! Braised Beef Cheek Poutine - red wine-rosemary gravy, cheddar cheese curds, on a bed of pommes frites (That's french fries for you basic b*tches.), and topped with a Sous Vide Egg!. Oxtail Fries (khoai táy tới) - Juicy well seasoned oxtail, with green and white onions, on a bed of thin crispy fries, drizzled with spicy mayo and hoisin, and topped with a medium fried egg. The egg felt a little overcooked for my tastes (since I'm more of a runny egg kinda guy), so I might skip it on my next re-order. But overall this dish was bangin. Girlfriend was so focused on her Pho, I ended up eating most of this. Merry Christmas from Las Vegas!!! The Xmas day brunch buffet at Treasure Island is pretty awesome. Got a bit of Crab Cakes Benedict, sushi, bacon, breakfast steak, and some potato au gratin. Cornmeal Battered Cheese Curds with a side of smoked tomato sauce (*not pictured) Cornmeal was crunchy, the cheese was chewy and gooey, and the smoked tomatoes dipping sauce was awesome touch. Great compliment to my dark stout. We made a quick beer stop here and I decided to get a few things to pick at. I believe this may have been the only thing I ate that day. Let's just say I had a bad time. DAISY CUTTER PALE ALE (5.2%ABV) -  A west coast Pale Ale chock-full of dank, aromatic hops. Dank but drinkable, so don't have to be a hop lover to enjoy this one. #TravelTuesday This was #Halloween in the Windy City and we waited over an hour to get in to the tour of @HalfAcrebeer. Totally worth the wait! Our tour guide was awesome in his Banana's in Pajama's costume and the beer was excellent (FULL POURS FUCK YEAH!)! BACON MAC-N-CHEESE BURGER - Crispy applewood bacon, six-cheese mac ‘n’ cheese, LTOP (lettuce, tomato, onion + pickle), SMC (super-melty cheese) + donkey sauce, all stacked on a garlic-buttered brioche bun. Bacon, crispy and on point; Donkey Sauce, great food lube with fantastic flavor of garlic and light mustard heat; Burger patty, flavorful and juicy, probably my favorite part of the burger. Mac 'n' cheese falls flat, its creamy alright but has no flavor you don't realize your eating noodles until they fall out of the burger. Simple Pizza is the best pizza I always say, never more than 2 or 3 toppings unless your doubling up of course! :D So much flavor, and so much gooey cheese. #2 Edomae Tendon - Anago (conger eel), 2 shrimp, kakiage (mixed ingredient tempura), soft boiled egg, seaweed, and a shishito pepper. The sauce is pre-applied here which is something new for me but i have to say it wasn't soggy as I would have expected. The eel, was fluffy and airy and the tempura batter on everything was a perfect crispy/soggy ratio of perfection. Dragon Eggs - Tator tots, dark ale chili, cheddar, sour cream, sriracha, viking ketchup This is the most fatty, flavorful, chili covered tots you'll get from a truck. The viking ketchup is my favorite part which is a Buffalo sauce mix of Sweet & Spicy, also I'm pretty sure there is some crack in there somewhere. Every single time the @TheVikingTruck shows up at my work, well the other food trucks might as well go home. The line is absolutely insane but worth the wait. Always worth the wait. Char-dog (Chicago Dog) - all-beef frankfurter topped with topped with yellow mustard, chopped white onions, bright green sweet pickle relish, a dill pickle spear, tomato slices, pickled sport peppers and a dash of celery salt on a poppy bun. What makes it a Char-dog? Well it has to be grilled over charcoal of course! #TravelTuesday This week comes from my recent weekend in Chicago, Illinois. Now Wiener Circle isn't best Chicago Char Dog in town but its probably the most memorable place to get one. I highly recommend the Chocolate shake...it's worth the $20 especially if its your first time in the Windy City. Al Pastor Tacos with White Onions, Cilantro. Left has a bit of handmade Guacamole and right has Green tomatillo salsa. The Al Pastor was SO GOOD, it didn't need any sauce but the Guacamole was on point, fresh made just before being brought to our table. Double dose of #TravelTuesday this week, since I've been a bit behind on my posting. This one also comes from our recent bacholor party weekend, at a small Taco  shop located in Ensenada just 2 doors down from Papa and Beer. What an amazing find! This shit right here was the best taco I have ever had in LIFE. And I'm not just saying that, I will return to this taco place every single damn time i return to Ensenada.
