Let me be the one 2012 Donnie glazer just this once and say this:

In the episode “ Metalhead, ” after the Turtles returned from the lair after their fight against the Kraang, and after he got the idea to use the defunct Kraangdroid torso to “ turn combat into a video game ” he shut himself in his lab. In the very next scene April ( who was there previously ) left to investigate the Kraang ( during the daytime, as Leo stated. ) While April was out the Turtles were chilling in the lair until Donnie finally sent Metalhead out and introduced him to them ( these two events happened at the same time. ) Then during the night they went out to test Metalhead out in the wild and managed to find April, who told them about the Kraang’s recent plot.

Donnie, in all likelihood, built Metalhead within the span of 24 hours. He went into his lab with the broken top half of a Kraangdroid and came out with a nigh-indestructible robot turtle buddy who was a walking Swiss Army Knife of weaponry.

He figured out the BROKEN, BEATEN UP Kraang technology within hours of taking it back, reverse engineered it, made plans for Metalhead and built him, fully complete and operational, in a single day.

In Season 1, Episode 6. This is only the THIRD episode where they’re shown to encounter the Kraang, the last one being “ Turtle Temper. ” The rest of them focused on the Foot Clan and Baxter Stockman. He went from tinkering with junk to reverse engineering advanced alien technology.

Savanti Romero was trying to cook Donnie here ( and IK it’s funny to make fun of him ) but this kid’s tech savviness is so impressive it’s TERRIFYING. And that’s not even mentioning how impressive Metalhead is in his own right.

I’m convinced that he could take a look at technology from ANY dimension and figure it out, hack it and use it for himself not even a day after first laying eyes on it.

This is a behind the scenes from a TV show. He’s the guy who plays the character whose gravestone it is. He’s mad that people are memeing a behind the scenes photo of a fictional character’s death because he happens to play that character.
