Hello! It’s Sam again, and my senior capstone project is coming to a close. Last year I sent out a survey regarding chest binding practices, in order to better inform my design for a chest binder. I received so many great responses! It was so helpful to me in my process, and I couldn’t be more thankful for everyone who responded and shared the post.
As my project is coming to an end, I would like to ask for y’alls feedback again! Though my capstone class is over, I plan to continue with this project and develop my design further. I know it’s a bit difficult to give feedback on a binder without wearing it, but it would be invaluable to me to hear what y’all think about my design so far. I’m including a 2-question survey, just to get general feedback and any comments y’all might have. SURVEY HERE.
Some notes: my design solution is intended for transmasc and nb/genderqueer people who practice chest binding most days/everyday. Preliminary prototype testing has shown it can be worn for a variety of activities, including going to work/school, sitting for long periods of time, light exercise, etc. and can be worn under any style of garment. Further tests will include wearing while swimming, running, and more intensive exercise.

In all seriousness Rad Sechrist (the creator of Kipo) confirmed via twitter that Kataow is finished unless it gets picked back up again. BE SURE TO STREAM KIPO IF YOU HAVEN'T !!!!!
Its a wonderful show with a unique art style and wondeful story. Its immersive and deep and heartwarming. The characters themselves and their friendships with one another are THE BEST. Literally the show makes me so soft it is SO good and deserves so much attention.
It has a diverse cast, all the main characters are black besides the animal characters (Kipo is also black! She may look pink but her dad is black and her moms Korean) and there are several queer characters.
People BEG for shows like this in terms of diversity and then sleep on them and this shit happens.
AND ITS ON A CLIFFHANGER Y'ALL IT NEEDS TO BE PICKED BACK UP.

hey since I just told a friend this and they found it helpful: if you’re having hallucinations and are having trouble distinguishing what’s real and what’s not, use your phone’s camera and take a picture of the thing you might be hallucinating. cameras don’t hallucinate.

sometimes ur own hallucinations may show up on camera or on a recording if its an auditory hallucination, so if ur unsure and have someone you trust, you can try sending the picture or recording to them and asking them what they see/hear too!!
I’ve only ever had like three or four instances of visual hallucinations but a friend who has them regularly
says that the way she checks is that she takes off her glasses, and if the image is still in perfect focus, that’s a hallucination
that might not work for everyone, but it might be helpful for some!
When I thought I was hearing a roommate/family member in the next room and thought they were talking to me, and couldn’t tell if they were actually in there or not and if they were actually saying those things (and usually the things they were saying were pretty bizarre and mean), if I put on headphones and blasted music and could still hear them clearly then I could tell it wasn’t them and I was hallucinating (so bascially similar to the eyeglasses post above, but on the auditory side of things). Headphones and music are great for fact-checking or for helping to block the quieter things out.

She went to school and didn’t come back home afterwards and her family is extremely worried. She was reported as missing right away and the police are trying to find her, but so far not much is known.
She is 157cm tall, has brown hair and brown eyes and an oval-shaped face, and is of medium build. Emma was last seen wearing a black jacket, ripped blue jeans, white sneakers and a red backpack.
