Hi hello the names DJ, I make a huge variety of wire creatures, robots, and miscellaneous things. I have a gallery of my works called Wirespun Wizardry if you'd like to see more of my work.

after i made my wooden doll, i was musing about what other unusual materials i might use for a bjd. my partner suggested paper, and also gave me access to their craft paper collection -> i made this.

she is almost entirely made of paper & cardboard. the joints are wooden beads & worbla, because i did figure out a way to make ball joints out of paper, but it really was not worth the effort. all her limbs have tubes of rolled-up cardboard in them to keep the structure sturdy, and the origami flowers are glued around those.

this is extremely different from any doll i've made before, and i had so much fun working with pretty papers & figuring out how to turn them into a poseable 3d object.

Actually, I've never finished a playthrough of earthbound. Despite loving many of the games inspired directly by it, I just never got around to finishing it.

another teapot animal head variant, because this sculpt is comforting to revisit. i find the speculative biological implications of the tea cup babies disturbing, but have willed them into existence regardless.

Honestly the best Mario I've ever made. I use glue when the details have to be so tiny I can't wrap it through anything. Like Hornet and the Knights eyes.

Frankly it's the wire art. And mostly my attempts at making wire versions of things I want. Like these frutiger Aero things. This is just the first try.

A little late but I made a bunch of little Zelda items for the 40th anniversary. Ocarina of Time and Majoras' mask are very important to me.

I've been experimenting and seeing what I can and can't make. This little recursive rainbow tree ball was neat. I figure I'll fill a treasure box with literal treasure any day now lol
