I think you might also like this book "Parico Dall Dress Up Craft Book" I still have not made anything from it. But one day I will. Seems like it would be doable to turn the kitties into other critters by adjusting the ears and faces. (There are probably other critter books out there this is just the one I own)

Ok! Actually! I like being employed because it means I can dress my dolls in lovely little clothes! I love this set, it was such a steal. It has that vibe that I can't really pinpoint but it gives soft 2000s fashion.

My new doll! She's a custom DDH-10 in flesh. I got her second hand on Vinted. Face up by nyamya.mia as I have been told.

She came with different eyes which I switched to brown. I also got the bright orange wig for her. And that concludes it, I am too broke to get her any clothes so she's sitting in a borrowed imomo set which is too big for her.

Oh and her name is Cinnamon or Cinna for short :3

new hands for my Mika. Changing them was so fiddly I am never touching them again. Their hands are impossible to change out without a dip in hot water which softens the vinyl. Anyway I am very happy with how these look. I can't wait for my slot at the makeup artist so Mika can get a face... hopefully soon...

More escapades in the giant plush department. ngl trying to make both sulu and function at the same time was Unwise but it was fun making different body types though. I feel like in past iterations of suluing i didnt utalize the candy/sweets theme enough so i decided to go hog wild with it this time.

also yes the amount of space in my apartment dedicated to plushies is becoming obscene but i have relegated them to The Boy Corner

the drywood dryad is dormant in the summer, appearing like a dead tree, but walks around in the winter, growing fruit from its branches to feed crows & other birds.

this was inspired by my partner telling me to make something with a lot of crows. the prompt was originally for a warhammer mini, but i decided to also sculpt a bjd so i could have more details & use different materials.

this is currently one of my favorite dolls i've made.

MY HOMUNCULUS (#my homunculus)

i was feeling lugubrious so i decided to do what any reasonable individual would and constructed an entire being from scratch. Ironically this is like if Pupet was real- like for real real since his character is also a plush homunculus narratively.

I know I already make massive plushies but this is like a full foot taller than my usual plush size, he clocks in at 38 inches tall.

The body of the plush is 3 inch upholstery foam blocks glued together to form a base and carved to shape. I then used strips of scrap 1/2 inch fur i had as "batting" to soften the shape in 3 layers of scuba that works like compression socks. I also used neoprene scuba for the skin and boots. The head is a 8 inch styrofoam ball carved into a more skullish shape and has a fursuit mask template for the face, the eyes are hand painted from dissected googly eyes. I did literally just use an old wig for his hair _(:3」∠)_
