#jrnats @tee_spadaccino (via @repostapp) ・・・ The beautiful top five ladies of class F at Jr Nationals. I took home the first place trophy and walked away from this show as an IFBB pro. It was my fifth national show, I had done four as a bikini competitor, this was my first as a figure competitor. The tears started flowing on stage. Years of work, sweat and tears have gone into this. I am still in disbelief. I can't quite wrap my head around it yet. What an incredible weekend. Big thanks to my coach @shelbystarnes100 who helped me pull it all together in the last 13 weeks. I simply could not have done this without your guidance. And I can't forget @kennywallach for helping me showcase my physique as best as possible. And @lebou_beauty thank you for making me feel absolutely beautiful this weekend with your amazing makeup skills! But then I look around at all that I have accomplished and more importantly who I am as a person and the love that I have and have to give because of these experiences and I know where my truth lies and I am in awe at the wonder and amazement of life. Sometimes we struggle to find our path; our purpose in life. It's scary to think that I thought I was healthy on the left. I was hungry, literally starving myself to make myself feel better. I didn't realize it at the time that I had every tell tale sign of an eating disorder. I mentally wanted to be skinny and healthy so I ate my veggies, said no to sugar and fat, and did excessive amounts of cardio. I was making myself sick and I didn't know it. Somehow something clicked. I stepped away from the elliptical and picked up some weights.... And then a fork and started eating again.... 3 years between pictures and 2 different women. I am healthy.
