AITA for leaving my "wife" of almost 20 years for a younger woman? I (36M) thought I was married to my wife K (42F) for 18 years. Long story short, she had been married to my brother when they were teenagers but he died a few months after the wedding. At the time she claimed the marriage was never consummated, no doubt to keep her father from having to pay my father her dowry and so she could remarry well. Over the next few years, though, we got closer, and eventually got married once I was old enough---or so I thought. We struggled for years to have kids (an heir is really important to me) and ultimately only had one daughter together. (Edit: it's her fault, not mine. I had an affair at one point and fathered a son) Naturally, I began to wonder if God was unhappy with our marriage since He refused to grant me a son. Anyway, after further inquiry, I found out that K lied and had actually had sex with my brother after their wedding, so their marriage really was valid. As a result, our own marriage is now null, since Leviticus prohibits marrying your brother's widow. (Edit: I know the Pope Bishop of Rome issued a dispensation when we were younger; I don't believe he had the authority to do that. And don't bring up Deuteronomy) Obviously, once the writing was on the wall and I knew that K and I would never have a son together, I started shopping around a little and fell in love with my current partner A (26F). I'm positive that if I marry A she will soon give me the son I need and deserve for the security of my kingdom. I don't get why everyone is so upset at me for trying to prevent another succession crisis. We technically were never even married! AITA?

Am I Overreacting? I (45M) married my second wife A (35F) a little over three years ago after a really messy break up with my first "wife" (long story---unknowingly lived in sin for 20+ years, marriage annulled, drawn out custody battle over our daughter, etc.) After some fertility struggles, which I also had with my first wife, one of my close friends (let's call him T) told me about a rumor he heard that A had been cheating on me for some time with a childhood friend of mine. Obviously when I confronted him he denied sleeping with my wife, but I don't believe him. T then found out that A had been sleeping with four other men including her brother and passed this info on to me, so I had her and these five friends arrested and executed for treason. AIO?
