NEED👏THAT👏MAN👏PREGNANT *SEASON TWO* ROUND 5 POLL 13
TUMBLR! Who's getting pregnant?
Remy LeBeau/Gambit (X-Men/Marvel)
Yue Qingyuan/Yue Qi (The Scum Villain’s Self-Saving System)
PROPAGANDA:
[Gambit]
"Beautiful con-man, has done bad things he is trying to atone to, can turn anything into bombs and chose playing cards then became a gambler to stay on theme, I personally want to see him pregnant."
[Yue Qingyuan]
"The Sect Leader should get pregnant because the Sect Leader should be the picture of fertility and virility both, boost the usage of male child-bearing pills, and because the whole Sect would go crazy trying to find out who's the baby daddy. I think Yue Qingyuan could benefit from having to raise a child of his own instead of managing disciples, because Yue Qingyuan no longer has a family of his own and deserves one, and this way, perhaps he'd be forced to care about another person again. His strong and qi-rich body would also have an easy pregnancy and have a strong and happy child."
wei wuxian's foolproof plan of making everyone believe that he is, in fact, not the yiling patriarch:
step 1: pretend to be a gay lunatic (he already was a gay lunatic)
step 2: throw step 1 out of the window as soon as someone disrespects the lan clan (his life-long crush's clan)
step 3: play the flute (the instrument well known as the yiling patriarch's spiritual weapon of choice)
step 4: summon the ghost general (the yiling patriarch's right hand man)
step 5: play a song composed by hanguang-jun that only him and the yiling patriarch have ever heard
step 6: flirt with hanguang-jun (his lifelong crush)

"Do you ever wonder if Grace's bike is still there at Grover Cleveland Middle School? Is it treated like a memorial for him after the annoucment of him volunteering to board the Hail Mary? Do you think his students visit it?"
Happy pride month 🥳

Part 2 / Part 3
alright I've got to do some quick math to explain attitudes towards AI to my boss.
we're looking to create an AI policy, and when we were talking about this, my boss (older millennial) was genuinely shocked to hear that younger people do not (seem) to view AI positively (a la the recent commencement speakers being booed)
please rb for larger sample size!
Question 1/3
What is your age, and do you feel AI is a net positive or net negative in our lives today?
under 18, AI is a net positive
under 18, AI is a net negative
18-29, AI is a net positive
18-29, AI is a net negative
30-45, AI is a net positive
30-45, AI is a net negative
46-60, AI is a net positive
46-60, AI is a net negative
over 60, AI is a net postive
over 60, AI is a net negative
Question 2/3
How often do you visit or interact with museums/archives (whether in person or online)?
Frequently (multiple times per month)
Often (multiple times per year)
Occasionally (a couple times per year)
Rarely (once every couple of years)
Never :(
Question 3/3
If you saw a museum was using AI in exhibits, marketing, research, etc., would you be more or less inclined to visit that museum?
under 18, more inclined
under 18, less inclined
18-29, more inclined
18-29, less inclined
30-45, more inclined
30-45, less inclined
46-60, more inclined
46-60, less inclined
over 60, more inclined
over 60, less inclined
Thank you for helping with this data collection. Please rb for as big a sample as possible!

First bingqiu drawing after years fuccckkkk
i would rather see the information for an event handwritten in sharpie on a paper towel than see another AI generated flyer
Saving this post to show my boss who I told the AI flier makes us look lazy and ignorant, and offered to hand draw one. She still printed tons of ai fliers and I'm tempted to make a better one just because it annoys me so much.
Fun update: event was canceled because literally nobody rsvp'd to the AI flier.

One of the strangest things about modern culture-war discourse around film is how often movies from the past are treated as “proof” that art used to be apolitical, non-woke, or free from progressive messaging and few examples illustrate this better than Alien (1979).
Today, Alien is frequently praised in anti-woke circles as the kind of movie Hollywood “can’t make anymore”: tough, grounded, unpretentious science fiction without modern identity politics. Ripley is often held up as the “right way” to write a female character, supposedly unlike contemporary heroines accused of being “forced feminism.”
But this reading becomes deeply ironic once you look at what the actual creators of Alien said about the movie because the themes many modern viewers would immediately label “woke” were not accidental interpretations imposed decades later by academics or online commentators. They were intentional. Explicitly intentional. Confirmed by the filmmakers themselves.
