It’s been four years since I first walked through the doors of my highschool. Back then I had just found my footing in the world, and I had no idea what everything would lead up to. All the big events, the problems, the sleepovers, the memories, the classes, the little moments that seem so small but matter so much, these are the things that have shaped who I am today. I’d be nothing without my friends, family, and the teachers who have taken the time to help ensure my educational growth. I now have a college that wants me, a career I can flourish in, and a hope that’ll shine bright for years to come, and I couldn’t have done any of it without the people in my life. Each and every one of you have no idea how much you mean to me, but maybe one day I can show you.

Looking back, I don’t think I would change any of it. There may have been some rough patches and I may not have always loved everything about highschool, but it was all worth it to come to this point. This was my last day ever attending highschool.

I still have until graduation to finally declare myself a college student, but already the end feels so final. I’m making peace with leaving and am coming to accept that life is moving on. And I’m happy about it, even though my throat feels tight and my eyes feel damp. I really loved these past four years, and I wanna thank everyone who has ever touched my life for their presence in it.
