Whilst I get where it's coming from, I don't think that Minneapolis actually works as an example of how Amerikkka is a fascist state. Yes it's seen repeated, horrifying attempts to establish terroristic rule, but the people of Minneapolis have also repeatedly demonstrated their capacity to fight and win against such forces. If anything, Minneapolis (as well as Chicago and LA) shows us that, where battles have been pitched tl their fullest, the forces of fascism in Amerikkka are actually weaker than the organized working class

The recent arrests are scary and something to watch out for, but you'll have to forgive me for holding confidence that the people of Minneapolis aren't gonna let them get away with this either

It's also worth noting that Minneapolis, LA, and Chicago have all been targeted with the largest ICE operations in large part because those are the cities with the strongest communist movements! So, whilst there are plenty of cities (like my own 🙇‍♀️) that absolutely couldn't withstand an operation Metro Surge at this stage, those also aren't the places where the bourgeois dictatorship needs to resort to open terrorism in order to defend itself
