(E/C) orbs stared at him as he sang to you, mind wondering if he would ever be yours. You were caught in his presence, enraptured by his very being. You loved numerous things about him, whether it was something shallow like his smile, or something deep like the way his eyes would sparkle when he talks about his occupation.
You loved how he made it feel like everything will be okay whenever he laughs.
Your hands reached towards his cheeks, catching his attention as you cupped his cheeks. "Will you ever be mine, Seokmin?” You whispered out.
“What are you talking about, Y/n-ah?” You saw how his gaze towards you softened as he leaned towards your touch, hand placed on top of yours, "Aren't I already yours?"
A smile crept its way up towards your mouth, eyes closing in content as his hands made its way into your hair, caressing you softly. It slowly lulled you to sleep, dreaming of all the memories you've both shared.
Seokmin was a guy that didn't care about what you wore or what you looked like, that much as evident. He never fails to remind you that he truly loves you, whether it be through his words or his actions.
You listened to him sing, his voice a soft lullaby to you as you slowly fell asleep to it.
Seokmin can confidently say that he has fallen for you.
He didn't know when it had started or why, but he just knew that he was absolutely enamored for you.
He loved the way you would dance whenever you thought that no one was watching. Where your hair would be tied in a messy bun and wearing nothing but an oversized shirt. For him, you glowed beautifully that day, especially when you smiled with your genuine smile. He could still remember your dorky laugh when you found out that he had been watching all the time.
He knew he had to make sure that your smile will return, even if he'd turn into a fool just to see it once more.
His hands gently removed the hair that covered your temple before slowly leaning towards you and placing a soft kiss on top of it.
Your eyes fluttered open as soon as you felt his kiss, allowing you to meet his eyes. You couldn't help but let out a smile, wondering how lucky you were with this man.
You wondered whether you saved someone in your past life just so you could be with a guy as kind as him.
You hummed in content, words that wanted to come out for a while now leaving your mouth in a whisper, not wanting to break this serene moment. "I love you."
You saw how his eyes widened for a bit, eyes sparkling the moment those words landed in his ears. He pouted once his mind registered the words, causing you to giggle at the sight, "No fair, I wanted to say it first." His lips turned into a grin, allowing yours to mirror his, "I love you too, Y/n."
This was a rewrite of an old one shot of mine. I hope you enjoy it!

"... then there was that time where Mark-hyung entered the bathroom and Bam-ie was taking a shower." You heard Yugyeom laugh from the other side of the line as he recalled the story, "They just stared at each other for a good few minutes before Mark-hyung tossed his towel at his face. It was really funny."
You listened to the sound of his voice as your tears fell endlessly, heart aching from some unknown reason. Everything felt heavy and suffocating and you didn't know why. Maybe it was from earlier or maybe it was because of some event a long time ago but all of it has piled up, emotions seeking release as you cried.
This was why you called him, Kim Yugyeom. You didn't want to be alone and you wanted some sort of presence in the dark. You knew it was late so you hesitated to call him at first and you didn't even think he would answer.
But nonetheless, he did. At first, he was really worried when he picked up, asking why you called him, asking why you were crying. However, when you told him that you only wanted to hear him talk, that was what he did. The two of you have been doing this for more than an hour now and you were grateful that he did as you wished.
Yugyeom's voice was comforting for you. He felt like a home you could always come back to. You knew that he was worried for you, knew that he wanted to ask what was wrong but because of your wishes, he didn't.
You sniffled once more as you wiped your tears, doing your best to stop them because you felt more pathetic the more you continued to do so.
You heard Yugyeom clear his throat, voice hesitant as he muttered out his next words. "I know you said not to mention anything but I'm here if you need someone to listen to you, okay?"
"I know," You whispered, eyes staring blankly at the phone in front of you as you searched your mind for an answer, "I will soon but not now. I'm sorry, Gyeom-ah."
"You don't need to apologize, Y/n. Just let it all out, you don't need to bottle up your feelings with me."
You let out a quiet sob at his words, heart heavy by the amount of emotions that you were feeling at the moment.
"That's right, let it all out." He muttered out, a tinge of sadness evident in his voice. There was silence for a moment until you heard a soft knock on your door, "Now, can you open the door? I'm outside and I brought a care package, as well as a hug for you."

"Should I go change?" were the first words that left your lips as soon as you saw the man you were supposed to be with this fine evening. You were quite nervous, seeing as you were wearing clothes that you wouldn't wear usually. It didn't help that San only stared at you, his expression vague the more he did.
Did the outfit not fit you like you thought it would?
Realizing that your anxiety couldn't handle it any longer, you turned to head back towards your apartment, cheeks heated up due to the shyness that you felt. "Please give me a few minutes to change!"
"No!" You felt his hands hold your wrist, stopping you from entering your house once again. You stared at his hand before trailing up to his eyes, causing San to clear his throat, "I don't think you should change."
"Are you sure?" You turned towards him, averting your gaze from his as you held your arm, voice barely a whisper, "Isn't the skirt too short? Won't you get angry if they look?"
"Why would I?" You peeked at his expression, checking to see what he truly felt. When you only saw pure adoration, your cheeks flushed further, "If they look then that's because you look gorgeous, Y/n."
"Won't you get jealous?"
San merely chuckled at this. He placed two fingers under your chin before lifting it up, his dimple smile showing once he saw your expression. "If anything, they should be jealous of me." His expression softened as he rubbed his nose against yours, "Jealous of me for having the most beautiful girl as my s/o."
He laughed when he saw your flustered expression, hands finding yours to intertwine them. "Let's go?"
You smiled at him, a surge of confidence bubbling in your chest due to the man in front of you. "Let's go."
Double Take (Enhypen Jake)
¸¸♬·¯·♩¸¸♪·¯·♫¸¸¸♬·¯·♩¸¸♪·¯·♫¸¸ I could say I never dare To think about you in that way, but I would be lying ¸¸♬·¯·♩¸¸♪·¯·♫¸¸¸♬·¯·♩¸¸♪·¯·♫¸¸
Jake was fucked.
He knew that when he started falling for his best friend. He knew that from the moment he decided that it was a good idea to care more for you. He knew that everything would change once he told you how he truly felt.
He knew all of that so why was his heart still breaking when he saw the expression on your face.
“What did you say?” You said breathlessly, as if you couldn’t believe the words that just came out of his mouth.
He visibly gulped, lips pursed as he contemplated whether or not he should repeat what he’s said or make a run for it. Deciding that he shouldn’t pick the latter, he took a deep breath as he walked towards you, hand placed on either side of your shoulders. He stared deeply into your eyes, face serious as he repeated what he’ve just said.
“I like you a lot. Way more than a friend should have. WAY MORE.”
He saw how dumbfounded you looked, how your eyes became dazed as you tried to process the information. Personally, Jake wanted to scream at you and demand for an answer but he knew he had to wait. He had to wait PATIENTLY for your answer.
Jake silently prayed that things would go his way because he knew that if it didn’t.
Nothing would be the same again.

“Jake! Have you done your Math homework yet?” Your voice rang through his ear, causing his attention to turn to you. Jake rolled his eyes at you before showing you his notebook, a confident grin placed on his lips. “Of course I have, Who do you think I am?”
You then laughed sheepishly, hands scratching the back of your neck, “Can I copy yours?” You clasped your hands together, standing in front of Jake with your head bowed down. “I promise to let you copy my history homework!”
Your heart beat nervously when you felt his eyes on you, scared of being judged. You peeked at his expression, only to see his eyes boring into yours, orbs not giving away any thoughts of his. This caused you to gulp nervously, silently praying that he’d allow you to do so because your grades were literally in his hands.
Jake sighed before hitting your head softly with the notebook, “This is the last time I’m allowing you to copy my math homework.”
You squealed happily before hugging him, “Thank you! I’ll make it up to you!” You grabbed the notebook from his grasp before he could change his mind, dashing towards your seat to copy his homework and understand it.
Jake followed after you silently, sitting down at the seat next to yours, “Hey (Y/n).” You hummed as a response, gaze not leaving his notebook. He placed his hand on your field of vision, blocking you from seeing the answers. “Look at me.”
“What?” You turned your head towards him, only to see him grin mischievously. You grew confused before realizing what he was going to do. Your hands were about to shield his target, however, you were too late.
Jake flicked your forehead, causing you to flinch upon impact. “That hurts!” You rubbed the spot hit by him, a pout forming on your lips as you glared at him.
He merely laughed at you, “Don’t snooze your alarm next time.”
¸¸♬·¯·♩¸¸♪·¯·♫¸¸¸♬·¯·♩¸¸♪·¯·♫¸¸ In the midst of the crowds In the shapes in the clouds I don't see nobody but you ¸¸♬·¯·♩¸¸♪·¯·♫¸¸¸♬·¯·♩¸¸♪·¯·♫¸¸
“First, you replace this with that number.” Jake whispered as he pointed to what he was referring to. The two of you were currently at the school library, Jake teaching you the lesson that you found hard to understand.
He glanced at you from the corner of his eye, mentally smiling when he saw how focused you were. He then placed a finger on the middle of your eyebrows, relaxing the scrunch that formed in between them. “Relax, I’m sure you’ll get this soon.”
“I know but why did math have to be this hard?” You sighed, arms folding as you glared at the worksheet in front of you. “Whoever added the alphabet to Mathematics better be…”
“Sleeping in his bed peacefully.” He chuckled, stopping you from continuing your sentence. He watched as you pouted, visibly frustrated at yourself for not getting the formula immediately. He frowned, thinking of ideas as to how you’d cheer up before remembering what he had in his bag.
Jake sat up straight, grabbing his bag from beside his chair before placing your favorite snack and drink in front of you, “If you finish this then you can have these.”
He saw how quickly your eyes shone due to this, your grin returning as you looked at him. “What are we waiting for?” He watched as you grabbed your pen, eyes focusing at the problem and solving it with a certain determination that wasn’t there before.
‘How adorable.’ He chuckled quietly, before glancing at your answers, making sure to correct you if he sees anything wrong.
¸¸♬·¯·♩¸¸♪·¯·♫¸¸¸♬·¯·♩¸¸♪·¯·♫¸¸ In my rose-tinted dreams Wrinkled silk on my sheets I don't see nobody but you ¸¸♬·¯·♩¸¸♪·¯·♫¸¸¸♬·¯·♩¸¸♪·¯·♫¸¸
Jake slowly opened his eyes, vision still blurry as he stretched his arms, letting out a small noise as he did. He looked around, trying his best to remember where he was. ‘I guess we fell asleep.’
He frowned, however, when he was met by the catastrophe of a room that the two of you made. There were empty packets of chips and bottles beside him, the movie that he remembered watching already at the credits. Jake could only sigh as he thought of how much of a hassle it would be to clean. Why did the two of you have to eat this much?
He was about to stand up but stopped when he realized the weight on his lap. He looked down to see you sleeping peacefully, your hair preventing him from seeing you. He chuckled before slowly removing the hair from your face so that you’d be able to breathe properly.
He grinned once he was able to see you, “Cute.” He mutters before noticing that you were wearing the jacket he wore earlier, the hood up and your arms hugging yourself as you breathed softly. His smile softened, in awe with your appearance,
‘Have you always been this pretty?’ He thought as he admired your features, hands reaching for the stray hair.
Jake stopped, however, when he realized what he was doing. He felt his breath hitch the more he stared, his heart beating faster than it should have. He quietly groaned, head facing up and his hands covering his eyes when he realized what was happening.
He let out a forced laugh, his head shaking as soon as the information processed itself. “Ah, I’m fucked.”
¸¸♬·¯·♩¸¸♪·¯·♫¸¸¸♬·¯·♩¸¸♪·¯·♫¸¸ Boy, you got me hooked on to something Who could say that they saw us coming? Tell me, do you feel the love? ¸¸♬·¯·♩¸¸♪·¯·♫¸¸¸♬·¯·♩¸¸♪·¯·♫¸¸
Ever since that day, Jake couldn’t see you the same way he did anymore. The touches that were once platonic weren’t anymore. The accidental brushing of your hands brought an electric current to his skin. The hugs you give him were enough to make his heart flutter. Heck, even just hearing your name was enough to make his head turn.
Jake knew that he had it bad for you yet, if he were to be honest, it wasn’t that bad. Sure it meant that he had to hide his feelings for you and that he had to be subtle but…
Ah, he was in deep trouble, wasn't he? He knew that he wasn’t the most subtle person in the world, especially when it came to you. He wanted to care for you, to make sure that you were eating well, make sure that you’ve done your homework, make sure you weren’t listening to sad Spotify playlists while you were crying.
To make sure you were happy.
Jake sighed as he rubbed his forehead, wondering how he was gonna do that without showing how he felt about you. It wasn’t going to be that hard, right?
He felt arms wrap around his shoulder, his nose smelling your familiar perfume as his head whipped towards you. “Jake!” His cheeks heated up as he saw the smile on your lips, your face unbelievably close to his. Words failed to form as his mind malfunctioned, his usual confident persona all but gone the moment you entered his field of vision.
Jake only snapped out of his trance when you waved your hand in front of him, doing your best to catch his attention. “Jake?”
“Hey… (Y/n),” He chuckled nervously, eyes avoiding yours as he removed your hold on him. “I was just about to head to the bathroom.” He slowly walked away, leaving you there confused.
Jake took a deep breath the moment he was sure that he was out of your field of vision. It was only then that he realized the current predicament he was in and all the confidence he had of being normal was gone. He was screwed.
¸¸♬·¯·♩¸¸♪·¯·♫¸¸¸♬·¯·♩¸¸♪·¯·♫¸¸ Spend the summer of a lifetime with me Let me take you to the place of your dreams Tell me, do you feel the love? ¸¸♬·¯·♩¸¸♪·¯·♫¸¸¸♬·¯·♩¸¸♪·¯·♫¸¸
The school was cheery and the atmosphere was festive as the school fare went on. It was truly enjoyable seeing numerous booths up for enjoyment but most of all, you were really happy to see all the food up for grabs.
“Nice, there’s (Favorite food)!” As you were about to approach the stall, you were suddenly blocked by two people with similar uniforms. You looked at them curiously, feeling a bit upset that they’d stop you from being with the love of your life. “Hello? Can I help you?”
“Are you (Y/n)(L/n)?” They asked and you slowly nodded, feeling genuinely confused as to why they were asking. The two looked at one another before approaching you, causing you to step back every time they did. “Uh…”
“Get her.” You took that as an initiative to run away, fearing for what they’d do if they caught you. You ran as fast as you could, looking back from time to time to see if they were still on your heels.
You laughed when you saw that they were slowly getting tired, already knowing that you could run more than they could due to you having an energetic best friend. “Stop! We’re just from a blind date booth! There was a request for you!” They yelled, causing you to slowly come to a stop.
You turned to see them trying to catch their breath, hands on their knees due to the chase you guys had. You approached them with a hand behind your neck, feeling awkward that you’ve put them in this predicament. “Sorry. Why didn’t you say so earlier?”
“We didn’t know you’d run that fast.” The first person said, finally able to look at you as they wiped their sweat. “Can you close your eyes and give us your hands please? It’s part of our act.”
You purse your lips, somehow feeling icky about this whole thing but seeing how you made them run a mile, you felt guilty. Therefore, you simply sighed and closed your eyes, resigning yourself to their antics.
“Alright.” You felt cold metal attach themselves at your wrist, as well as a piece of cloth tie itself above your eyes to prevent you from seeing where you were going.
The two people dragged you, a nervous feeling entering your stomach as they directed you to who knows where. You let out a cough, the awkward silence getting to you. “Are we far from your booth?”
“Surprisingly no, you actually ran towards our booth.”
“Is that so?” You chuckled, “You aren’t taking me anywhere suspicious, are you?”
“Who knows?” The other person teased, making you laugh nervously.
“I don’t think I trust you guys that much anymore.” You joked, your hands feeling sweaty due to the nervousness you felt.
“We were just kidding.” They laughed before nudging you to stop, “We’re here. On your front, you should be able to feel a chair. Go sit on it.”
You nodded before looking for the chair using your sense of touch. Once you found it, you sat down, waiting for the person to tell you what to do next.
Seeing as it was taking a long time, You guessed that you were still waiting for whoever you were partnered up with. You felt a nervous flutter on your chest as you waited, silently hoping that you weren’t paired with anyone weird.
When you felt another presence inside the booth, your nervousness grew. You felt as if you knew who it was, the scent that they have made you smile slightly.
There was a moment of silence in the booth, your body feeling the awkwardness as you waited for the next command.
“The two of you can now open your eyes.” They commanded and you did so. Your eyes widened once they opened, shock entering your body when you saw that it was Jake in front of you. You saw how his grin grew the moment he saw you, causing you to copy it with your own.
“Hey there stranger.” You greeted, a teasing tone laced in your voice. This caused him to laugh, shaking his head as he extended his arm for a handshake.
“Hey.”
¸¸♬·¯·♩¸¸♪·¯·♫¸¸¸♬·¯·♩¸¸♪·¯·♫¸¸ And I could say I never unzipped Those blue Levi's inside my head But that's far from the truth ¸¸♬·¯·♩¸¸♪·¯·♫¸¸¸♬·¯·♩¸¸♪·¯·♫¸¸
“I wonder who asked them to set us up?” You asked as you ate the snacks that they provided you with. Jake, who was doing the same, smiled before pointing behind him. “I think it’s them.”
Curious, your gaze turned towards the booth opening, only to see someone peeking from the outside. You chuckled when you saw Heeseung and Niki spying on the two of you, “They’re little troublemakers, aren’t they?”
You waved as they flinched, the two feeling somewhat embarrassed that they got discovered. You looked at Jake in amusement, “How’d you know they were outside?”
“They’re not exactly the most subtle people in the world.”
“Right you are.” You laughed as you munched on the snack. You glanced at all the snacks in front of you, before sneaking a glance at the people inside the booth. You gestured for Jake to come nearer, “Do you want to get out of here?”
He stared at you with a mischievous sparkle in his eyes, a smirk placed on his lips. “With the snacks?”
You subtly nodded, hands soon grabbing the food and hiding them under your clothes as Jake kept watch. It went on like that for a few minutes more, until someone noticed what the two of you were doing, “Hey! Stop that!”
Jake immediately grabbed your hand as you stood up, a grin etched on his lips as he looked at you. “Run!”
You nodded as you followed him, laughter leaving your mouth as the two of you ran outside of the place. You glanced back from time to time, checking to see if they were still following you.
When you realized that the two of you’ve lost them, you stopped, Jake looking back at you as if to ask why you did.
You grinned, “Thanks to our amazing speed, we lost them.”
He merely chuckled before taking a piece of hair tie on his wrist before handing it to you, “Figured you’d feel hot after that running.”
You smiled gratefully at this, taking the hair tie from him before proceeding to tie your hair.
Jake watched as you did so, his eyes fixed on your every move as he admired you. He stared as you did your best to catch every strand of hair, his smile never leaving his lips as you did.
To him, you were beautiful, that was a fact. He couldn’t quite figure out why you didn’t have many suitors, seeing as you were extremely beautiful. No, beautiful was too shallow of a word.
To him, You were ethereal.
Once you finished tying your hair, you looked at him, a teasing smile forming on your lips when you saw that he was staring at you. “I know I’m pretty but there’s no need to stare.” You let out your tongue, teasing him before laughing “Just Kidding. Come on, Let’s explore the Fair!”
You began to walk away, thinking that he was going to follow you. However, when you saw that he wasn’t, you looked at him, “You coming?”
“I like you.” His sudden words made you stop in your tracks, your eyes widening at the sudden statement. You could only stare at him in shock, your mind trying its best to process his words.
“What did you say?” You questioned breathlessly. You could see how nervous he was, his mouth quivering a bit due to this.
You knew that it took a lot of courage to say that.
Your heart beat quickly when he approached you with a serious expression on his face, his hands placed on both of your shoulders as he repeated his words. Your mouth was pursed as you listened to him, a nervous flutter visiting your heart as you did.
“I like you a lot. Way more than a friend should have. WAY MORE.”
¸¸♬·¯·♩¸¸♪·¯·♫¸¸¸♬·¯·♩¸¸♪·¯·♫¸¸ Don't know what's come over me It seems like yesterday when I said We'll be friends forever ¸¸♬·¯·♩¸¸♪·¯·♫¸¸¸♬·¯·♩¸¸♪·¯·♫¸¸
You turned to your side, head running as his words repeated itself in your head. You wondered how long he’d felt that way towards you, not seeing the signs that he had. Did he hide it well or were you just blind?
You turned once more, thinking of all the actions he did. Sure, he has been clingier, maybe even a tad bit jealous whenever you spoke to a guy that wasn’t him. Maybe he had been bringing you your favorite snacks more often. Maybe he had been sweeter these days, sweeter than he was.
“I like you a lot. Way more than a friend should have. WAY MORE.”
Did he really mean it? He looked so genuine when he said those words to you. As if he had been holding those words in for way too long. You let out a sigh before sending a text message to the very reason for your lack of sleep.
“Jake.” You watched as the text bubble appeared, signalling that he was typing. However, it disappeared a few seconds after, making your stomach drop due to the disappointment you felt.
You sighed, almost closing your phone but the familiar ringtone stopped you from doing so. You cleared your throat before pressing accept. “Why’d you call?”
“Scary. Why are you still up?” He asked, his voice sounding different on the phone.
Has he always sounded like this?
It was like he was someone different, as if he wasn’t the guy that you grew up with.
“Can’t sleep. Been thinking about what you’ve said earlier.” You confessed, an unfamiliar wave of silence ensuing after you did.
“Sorry.” He whispered before hearing his familiar laughter ring through your ear, “Does that mean I’ve been running through your mind?”
You rolled your eyes at his teasing, cheeks heating up because you felt like you had been caught “In your dreams maybe.”
He laughed once more, “I was just kidding. Want to head out for a bit?”
Your eyebrow raised at his suggestion, curious as to what he wanted to do at this hour. “Where to?”
“Our usual spot.”
“Up the hill? Sure. I haven’t been there in a while.”
You heard the rustling of sheets, as well as the sudden pause. “Wait for me outside?” You heard his door open and close as he waited for your answer. You silently laughed at this, already knowing that he was going to come regardless of your answer.
“Okay.”
“Okay.” He chuckled before ending the call. Your eyes stared at the screen of your phone, mind racing with thoughts that you felt like shouldn’t be there. You then sat up, your gaze now fixated towards your closet, wondering what you should wear. “Is this… a date?”
¸¸♬·¯·♩¸¸♪·¯·♫¸¸¸♬·¯·♩¸¸♪·¯·♫¸¸ Constellations of stars Murals on city walls I don't see nobody but you ¸¸♬·¯·♩¸¸♪·¯·♫¸¸¸♬·¯·♩¸¸♪·¯·♫¸¸
The night was breezy as the two of you sat on your usual spot, up on a hill which overlooks the city. You clasped your hands together, hoping to find some warmth in the winter night.
“Cold?” He asked, causing you to turn your head towards him before sheepishly nodding. He only laughed before grabbing the jacket by his side, draping it on your form in hopes to warm you up.
You gave him a grateful smile before focusing on the view in front of you, your cheeks heating up due to his action. It was silent for a few moments, the two of you enjoying each other’s company.
“It’s been a while, huh?” Jake started, effectively breaking the silence between the two of you. You nodded, “It sure has been. It’s been a year, I think?”
“For you? Yeah.”
You looked at him, a curious look present on your expression. “You’ve been going here? Without me? Oh, the betrayal...” You exaggeratedly placed your arm on your forehead, acting as if the biggest betrayal just happened.
Jake chuckled before clearing his throat, “I’m sorry, my lady. How shall I ever make it up to you?”
“Such a crime is unforgivable. No amount of money or service will heal my wounded heart.” The two of you stared at each other before bursting into laughter, allowing the little play between the two of you to stop.
You wiped the tears that fell due to your laughter, “I miss this.” Jake stared at you, a grin present on his lips. “I do too.”
¸¸♬·¯·♩¸¸♪·¯·♫¸¸¸♬·¯·♩¸¸♪·¯·♫¸¸ You're my vice, you're my muse You're a nineteenth-floor view I don't see nobody but you ¸¸♬·¯·♩¸¸♪·¯·♫¸¸¸♬·¯·♩¸¸♪·¯·♫¸¸
The conversation between the two of you flowed like a gentle stream, the two of you asking how each other’s day went despite being together at the fare.
“I felt so guilty when I made them run so much.” You laughed, reminiscing about earlier events as your hands wiped the tears that fell from too much laughing. His laugh rang in your ears like pleasant bells, your heart fluttering as your gaze fell towards him.
You watched as he stared at the sky above the two of you, his smile never leaving his face. You stared at him in awe, wondering how one person could look so beautiful under this night sky. His smile was blinding, his eyes sparkling the more you stared at them.
You didn’t notice your stare until he spoke, your cheeks heating up once you came to. “The stars are so pretty today.” Jake turned towards you, his smile now directed towards you, “Don’t you think so?”
You looked away, clearing your throat before finally looking at the kind of stars that he was staring at, “Yeah, I think they are.”
There was a welcome silence after that, allowing you to dwell on your own thoughts. You knew that it was too fast, that what you’re feeling is only because you were aware of his feelings. Nonetheless, you couldn’t help but notice the rapid beating of your heart, the nervousness you now felt around him and the constant heating of your cheeks.
You placed your hand on the area above your heart, massaging it slightly in hopes to calm it down. Jake, noticing this, looked at you worriedly, “Are you okay? Do you want to head back now?”
You shook your head, giving him a reassuring smile as you placed your hand down. “No, I’m alright.” Once more, you looked in front of you, “I want to stay with you a bit longer.”

The next few days were a bit of a whirlwind to you. Like usual, he was almost always by your side, joking with you, helping you, studying with you. Doing whatever things he did with you before he confessed.
However, unlike before, he became more caring towards you, always eating with you to make sure you ate, always walking you home no matter what day, and calling you just to talk with you.
It was as if you discovered a new side of him that you didn’t know existed. And honestly? You couldn’t help but fall for him. Not in love quite yet but slowly liking him more as a man.
It was also due to this newfound feeling of yours that you noticed the little things about him. You noticed that he, more often than not, either bites or purses his lips when he’s serious or thinking. He also often runs his hand through his hair a lot and rubs his eyes most of the time.
What you found the cutest, however, is that he can be quite clingy with you. Hugging you, leaning his head on your shoulder and what not. It was weird how these actions were simply platonic then but now, they never fail to make your heart pound.
You closed your eyes, breathing deeply as you stared at the classroom door. You could already hear his laugh, making your cheeks feel warmer than usual. You didn’t know how you were going to act around him now that you were aware of your own feelings. Do you flee? DO you stay?
However, the biggest question running through your mind was, how were you going to tell him?
¸¸♬·¯·♩¸¸♪·¯·♫¸¸¸♬·¯·♩¸¸♪·¯·♫¸¸ Spend the summer of a lifetime with me Let me take you to the place of your dreams Tell me, do you feel the love? ¸¸♬·¯·♩¸¸♪·¯·♫¸¸¸♬·¯·♩¸¸♪·¯·♫¸¸
“Oh.” Jake watched as you laughed by his side, his heart letting out the most uncomfortable feeling. He didn’t like this at all, the feeling of jealousy. He knew that he didn’t own you, nor your time and that you were free to interact with whoever you want so why was he feeling this way? Why was the green-eyed monster paying him a visit?
But really, did you have to laugh that hard when you weren’t even talking to him? He missed you, missed everything about you? Did you not feel the same when you ignored him for the past two days?
Speaking of, Why DID you ignore him? Did he do something wrong? Was he too forward with his feelings? Was he too blunt? Did he force his feelings too much?
He sighed when he heard your laugh, grimacing when you slapped your hand on the guy’s arms. He decided that he hated this feeling. He wanted you to freely interact with who you wanted to, after all he admired how you were able to interact with anyone effortlessly. Was it the uncertainty of your relationship that caused him to be like this?
He didn’t know anymore.

“Let me tell you, the more you delay it, the more you’ll regret it.” Your friend, Leo, told you bluntly, causing you to sigh. “I don’t know Leo, what if he just confused his feelings of companionship with the feelings of love?”
“Girl, you’re being mean to the guy. Based on the story you just told me, You need to realize that he’s genuine. You told me he told you that he suddenly blurted it out, right?” He asked and you nodded, “No one just blurts out their feelings. I swear, if you don’t want him then I’ll have him.”
“No!”
Leo simply smirked at you, his finger booping your nose as you blushed, “And there you have your answer. Your feelings are clear as day, (Y/n). What’s stopping you?”
“Leo!” Their boyfriend called Leo,] smile widening as they waved at their boyfriend. “If you’ll excuse me, I have a date with the love of my life.”
You rolled your eyes as you chuckled, “Go on, wouldn’t want to keep your date waiting.” Leo was about to leave you but you stopped him from doing so, “Hey Leo?”
“What is it girlie?”
“Thank you.” They simply smiled and winked before walking away, latching their arms with their boyfriend as you smiled warmly at them. Once they were out of sight, your eyes looked for a certain guy.
Your smile automatically showed when you saw Jake, already prepared to tell him what you felt after getting some advice from Leo. Your heart fluttered when your eyes met his, waving your hands at him to catch his attention.
You frowned, however, when he didn’t wave back, his eyes seemingly avoiding yours. You decided to approach his table, hands latching themselves on the table before speaking, “We need to talk.”
¸¸♬·¯·♩¸¸♪·¯·♫¸¸¸♬·¯·♩¸¸♪·¯·♫¸¸ Spend the summer of a lifetime with me Let me take you to the place of your dreams Tell me, do you feel the love? ¸¸♬·¯·♩¸¸♪·¯·♫¸¸¸♬·¯·♩¸¸♪·¯·♫¸¸
“What do you want to talk about?” Jake asked, not even bothering to look at you as he solved the math equation on his paper. This caused you to sigh, an uncomfortable twinge present in your heart the more he ignored you.
“Will you look at me first?”
He looked up for his eyes to meet yours, staring at you for a brief second before looking away. “There, say what you want to say. It seems that you’re busy with a friend.”
You stared at him curiously, wondering what was making him act this way before smirking as you came up with an idea, “Are you jealous?” The question made Jake stop what he was doing, his eyes peeking towards yours as he frowned. He turned his attention once more at his notebook, muttering under his breath.
“I’m not.”
You rolled your eyes at him, showing yourself in his field of vision with a smirk on your lips. “You are. You totally are.” You sighed when you were met with silence, arms crossing as you frowned. “If you aren’t, then prove it. Look at me in the eye and tell me you aren’t”
Jake simply sighed, eyes begrudgingly meeting yours as he prepared himself, “I’m not…” He stopped mid sentence, pursing his lips before looking away in defeat. His cheeks were slowly turning red in embarrassment.
“See, you can’t!”
“It’s not funny.” He scribbled on his notes, wanting nothing more than to escape this conversation due to the ugly feeling in his chest. However, he couldn’t help it as a pout formed on his mouth, “Why don’t you go back to his side. You seem happier with him anyway.”
“What?” You were confused, wondering as to who he was referring to. All you could remember talking to today was your friend, but that was only because you needed their advice. Maybe it was them?
Or was it your lab partner Jay, who you needed to talk to because of the project that the two you were in. You truly didn’t know.
“You heard me.” He muttered in a low voice, “It’s pretty obvious that you like him. Tell me if the two of you are dating, yeah?”
You clench your fists, anger bubbling in your stomach as you try to hold it in.
Safe to say that it failed, your hand meeting the back of his head. “What was that for?”
“You’re a fucking idiot.”
¸¸♬·¯·♩¸¸♪·¯·♫¸¸¸♬·¯·♩¸¸♪·¯·♫¸¸ Do you feel the love? Do you feel the love? Do you feel the love? Do you feel the love? Feel the love Do you feel the love? ¸¸♬·¯·♩¸¸♪·¯·♫¸¸¸♬·¯·♩¸¸♪·¯·♫¸¸
“You, Jake Sim, are an idiot.” You crossed your arms, glaring at him as you frowned. You did your best to calm yourself before placing his hand on the top of your heart. Jake’s cheeks reddened profusely, his words jumbled up as he tried to take his hand from you.
“(Y-Y/n)! What are you doing?! This is–”
“You’re the one I like, you big baby.” You cut him off, eyes staring directly into his as you picked your next words, “You might be a big baby but at least you’re my baby.” You coughed at your pick up line, cheeks feeling warmer than they usually are.
“What?” His eyes were wide, his heart now beating rhythmically with yours. He could only hear your words, surroundings all but gone as his mind focused on you. “Can you repeat what you said? I didn’t quite…”
“I like you.” You removed your grasp on his hand, your own reaching the back of your neck as you looked away. You felt that if you stared longer, you would combust. Why did he have to look that way? “I’ve been avoiding you because I didn’t know how to deal with these feelings of mine.”
He wrapped his arms around you in a hug, an overwhelming sense of joy filling his heart as he smiled, “You better not be playing with me, (Y/n).” He whispered into your ears, nuzzling his head onto your shoulders as he took in your scent.
“Maybe I am?”
Immediately, he placed his hand on either side of your shoulders. He mustered out his best glare, causing you to laugh at him. “I’m kidding! I seriously have unplatonic feelings for you.”
His smile returned, causing you to form one of your own. “Good, because I have unplatonic feelings for you too.”
[ 10:03 P.M. ]
"Can you meet me halfway?" Seungcheol could hear the fear in your voice, alarms ringing in his head the more he listened to you. "I think someone is following me."
“What?” The drowsiness that he felt since earlier was all but gone as he sat straight, immediately standing up as he found himself leaving your shared bedroom. "Who's following you?"
"I-I don't know Cheol-ie." The panic in your voice was evident, your anxiousness resonating with his as he headed towards the front door. He mentally cursed as the worry he felt increased, berating himself for not fetching you from your university.
"Take deep breaths (Y/n) and try to calm down." When there was silence on your end, he knew that you were doing as you were told. He smiled, "That's my girl. Can you tell me where you are?" He tucked the phone between his head and shoulder as he wore his shoes, tightening the lace so that he could run easily.
"I'm almost at the convenience store near our apartment."
"That's good." He headed out, locking the door behind him before running as fast as he can towards where you were, "I need you to go inside the convenience store and wait for me there. Can you do that for me, babe?"
"I can." He heard you gulp, causing his heart to grow more anxious at the thought of anything happen to you, "Please hurry."
Seungcheol nodded despite you not seeing him, "I'll run as fast as I can. Don't hang up. Just continue talking to me, okay?"
"Okay, I love you." The usual affectionate feel that those words brought was absent, the current situation making your words feel like a goodbye. He didn't know what he'd do if something were to happen to you, the thought of you being in pain tugging his heart uncomfortably.
He wanted to punch the guy once he saw him, a variety of emotions filling up his heart. Nonetheless, Seungcheol stayed calm, speeding up his pace so he could reach you faster.
"I love you too. How were your exams?" He asked, making small talks in hopes that he could calm both you and him.
"It's fine, I could've done better but I think I passed."
"Good girl. I knew you could do it, I'm so proud of you. Did your professor finally attend your class?"
"I wish," He smiled when he heard you chuckle, his heart calming down a bit when he heard. "He has yet to... Oh God..."
"(Y/n)?" He called, the worry that he was hiding earlier now painfully evident. It was silent on your end, feeling the anxiousness from earlier growing as seconds passed by. "Are you still there? Answer me."
"He... He went inside the store, Cheol. I think he got impatient."
"Shit." Seungcheol cursed under his breath, "I'm almost there, just keep your distance from him, okay? Try to stay at a spot where a person can see you. You have your pepper spray in your bag, right?"
"Yeah, I do," You whimpered, his heart throbbing at the sound of it. "I'm scared, Cheol-ie..."
"I know, I know. I need you to be brave for me, okay? I'm sorry I'm not by your side but I promise nothing bad will happen to you." His eyes lit up when he saw the convenience store, immediately barging through the store. He scanned the area, eyes searching for you and you only . "Okay, I'm here (Y/n), where..."
"Cheol!" His head darted towards your voice, hanging up the phone as his feet immediately lead him towards you. He placed his hands on either sides of your shoulders, eyes scanning you from top to bottom to check if you were safe. Once he was sure that you were, he wrapped his arms around you, holding you tightly in relief. "Thank God."
He felt you wrap your hands around him as well, your head buried in his chest as he felt your hold tighten. Seungcheol buried his head on your shoulder, voice down to a whisper, "I'm here, I'll keep you safe."
He could feel your heart beating erratically with his, sweet words leaving his lips as he did his best to calm you down.
When he was sure that you did, he broke his hold on you. His hands cup your cheek, "You were so brave. I'm so proud of you, (Y/n)."
He saw how you weakly smiled, his lips mirroring yours before remembering what caused this situation. Seungcheol scanned the area once more, checking to see which idiot dared put you in harm's way.
Once he saw the person he assumes was the one following you, he glared, arms placed around your shoulder to show that he was with you. He wanted to make him quiver, tremble even, due to the anger he now felt and he wanted to make him remember it clearly. He was about to head towards him but a tug on the edge of his clothes was enough to make him stop.
Seungcheol turned his head towards you, eyes meeting his as you shook your head no. He gulped before standing down, choosing instead to glare at the person harshly.
He saw the person look away, the irritation on his face obvious as he left the store. He let out a scoff once he did, genuinely angry that he placed you in that situation. He didn't know what he'd do to the person if you didn't stop him, his mind already thinking of ways he could deal with him.
That person was lucky that you were there to calm him.
His thoughts were broken off when he heard you sigh in relief, his head turning towards you once more as he gave a comforting smile. His hands found its way towards yours, intertwining his fingers around yours as he squeezed it comfortingly. "Are you okay? Do you want to buy anything? (Favorite Snack)? (Favorite Drink)?"
You shook your head once more, your hands squeezing his as your eyes turned teary, the amount of emotions you felt overwhelming you. "I was so scared, Cheol-ie..."
Seungcheol frowned due to this, his heart pricked at the sight of your tears. "I know," He placed a hand on your head, lightly patting it as an act of comfort, "You're safe now, I'm here." Seungcheol placed a light kiss on your forehead, knowing that the gesture was something you loved, "I'm here."
[ 4:28 AM ]
"Hey, why are you already up love?" You heard Jake whisper from behind you, feeling his arms wrap around your waist.
"It's nothing babe, you can go back to sleep." You turned your head towards him, greeting him with a kiss before turning back to the coffee you made. You didn't want to bother him with something so trivial and honestly, you didn't want to return back to sleep. So, you made coffee, in hopes that you won't go back to sleep because of it.
You were about to take a sip from your glass but his hands stopped you from doing so. He took the glass from you before carefully turning your body so that you'd face him. His hands were on either side of you, effectively trapping you.
"What's wrong?" He asked, his eyes staring into yours, hoping to get an answer. You pursed your lips, contemplating whether or not you wanted to be honest.
When you came into a conclusion, you merely sighed, looking away from his gaze to avoid the embarrassment you felt. "It's really nothing. It's just a nightmare. A pretty childish one, if you ask me."
Jake cupped your face in his hands, softly forcing you to look at him. "There's nothing childish about a nightmare, (Y/n). We all have them from time to time."
"Yeah, but mine's pretty childish and unrealistic." Your eyes gazed into his, allowing Jake to see what you truly felt. When he saw how scared you were, he wrapped his arms around you once more, your head buried into his chest as you hugged him back.
"No matter how childish it might be, I'll always listen to your worries." He whispered, stroking your hair to calm you down. There were a few moments of silence before hearing you sigh in defeat, feeling your hands clutch his shirt tightly.
"You left me." You started, your voice meek, as if afraid to be scolded. "I dreamt that you left me for someone else."
"Oh, Love..." Carefully, He placed his hands on your shoulder, forcing you to look directly into his eyes. He placed his hand on your face once more, cupping them as his thumb caressed your cheeks. "That's not childish. That's actually really scary but..." He gazed at you with the love he felt for you, his forehead touching yours as he whispered, "I'd never leave you, (Y/n). The thought never even crossed my mind. Why would I when you're already perfect for me?"
"Promise?"
He extended his pinky finger, a reassuring smile laced on his lips. "I promise. I'll even cut off this finger if I break the promise." He proclaimed, causing you to giggle before hitting him softly. "Stop it."
He let out a grin, "You finally smiled." He whispered before interlacing his hand with yours, "Let's go back to sleep?"
You nodded, allowing yourself to be dragged back into your shared bedroom. When you reached your bed, he tucked you on your side, "Comfy?"
"Yes but..." You patted the empty spot beside you, "I'll be comfier if you were beside me."
Jake chuckled at this, slowly going to his side to obey your wish. Once he laid down, he placed his arms on your waist, effectively pulling you closer to him. He played with your hair a bit before speaking, "I'll wait until you fall asleep."
"You don't have to!"
"I know but I want to." He said firmly, smiling as he gave you a quick peck on your lips.
Your eyes widened as your cheeks heated up from his sudden action. You buried your head into his chest, hoping that he wouldn't be able to see the face you were making.
You heard the chuckle that he let out as you did your best to calm down, closing your eyes while you took deep breaths. As you were doing this, you didn't notice that you had fallen asleep in his embrace.
Jake noticed your lack of movement, his eyes peeking to see if you were asleep. When he realized that you were, he let out a soft smile, brushing the stray hair from your face. He once again placed a kiss, however this time, on your forehead. "Sleep well, my love."
[ 9:13 P.M.]
"Will you tell the truth, So I don't have to lie." You sang quietly, your hand carefully wiping the makeup from his eyes as his lips curled up into a smile. You watched as Hyunsuk relaxed from your touch, almost as if he was peacefully sleeping below you. You copied his smile, heart pounding as you looked at him from above. While you cleaned the makeup from his face, you couldn't help but admire the features that he was given.
It would be considered an understatement to say that he was a work of art, your mind already knowing that he was more than that. His pretty eyes, his long lashes, his clear complexion, his pink lips, almost every feature of his beautiful. "Why do you still look so pretty?" You whispered, breathless at the sight of him.
Your statement caused him to open his eyes, his gaze soft as he grinned at you, "Because of your love for me."
"I'm already yours, there's no need for your flattery." You chuckled as you playfully hit his chest, "Now, close your eyes, I'm still not done."
"I don't want to." His hands from beside his body moved to cup your cheeks, your cheeks flushing due to this. You did your best to remove his hold but to no avail, he continued to place his hands the moment you released yourself from it.
"What are you doing? Stop it!"
"And if I don't?" He teased, squeezing your cheeks together as he laughed. "You look so cute."
You pouted due to his teasing, playfully glaring at him as he continued his antics. Your pout disappeared, however, when you came up with a bright idea. Slowly, you placed your hands at his sides, tickling him with all your might, causing him to jolt at your actions. He removed his hands from your face, laughing loudly due to the tickling that you were giving him.
"Stop!" He said in between his laughs, already breathless due to your harmless prank, "I surrender so please stop!"
"I don't want to!" You mocked, sticking out your tongue as you continued to tickle him. You laughed along with him, having fun with the mischief you were causing.
Due to this, you didn't notice his hands that were closing in on yours. Swiftly, he grabbed your hands before flipping you over, pinning your hands to your sides as your positions switched.
"Stop," He breathed out from above you, tired from all the tickling that you did. His smile slowly disappeared as he stared directly into your eyes, his eyes showing a million thoughts in his mind. Your cheeks heated up at your current position, the feeling of nervousness swirling in your stomach the more you stared into his orbs.
"(Y/n)..." Hyunsuk muttered before slowly leaning in towards you. His eyes closed as the distance between the two of you lessened, causing you to do the same before feeling his lips land on yours.
Your heart fluttered as you tasted his lips, the taste of the lip balm that you placed on him earlier, as well as your own now mixing in with his found in his lips. He kissed you with such care, as if you were a doll that's needed to be cared for, as if you were someone that he couldn't bear to lose. You felt how much he loved you, how much he treasured you in his kiss, saying all the words he couldn't say through it.
You broke apart a few seconds later, your eyes opening slowly due to the breathlessness you felt after the act of intimacy. You felt dazed, your heart beating faster than it should have. You watched as he examined your features, chuckling at the state he left you in.
His thumb ran over your lips, removing the excess lip balm on the corners. "You look so beautiful." He whispered out before placing a quick kiss once more, never seeming to get enough of you.
He leaned his forehead over yours, his lips curling into a smile as he whispered once more, "Hey, I love you. You know that, right?"
You snapped out of your daze as he uttered those words, your own lips mimicking his as he did, "I know," You cupped his cheeks softly in your hands, his head unconsciously leaning into your touch. "I do too."
[ 1:17 AM ]
“What are you doing here?” You stared blankly at the man standing in front of you, his orbs staring directly into yours. You could see the nervousness he felt, the apologetic look in his eyes, as well as the fear. It was silent for a few minutes, the man unable to answer the question you asked so you sighed, about to head back inside but he stopped you from doing so. "Wait!" Once more, you turned to look at him, his hands showing a bouquet of your favorite flowers. “I’m sorry.” He began, “I was being a jerk earlier. You didn’t deserve the words I’ve said and none of it really have any weight to them. I've thrown them at you carelessly and I know I don’t have the right to be here but I didn’t want to sleep knowing that I've hurt you. I didn't want to sleep knowing that we're not okay. I’m sorry, (Y/n).” You pursed your lips, hands hugging your body tightly for comfort as you looked away. You stayed silent, heart heavy from the earlier argument that you two had. You knew that he was being sincere, that he truly didn’t mean what he said but that didn’t mean that it didn’t hurt. You wanted desperately to forgive him but you felt that you needed more time. More time to forget his words. “(Y/n)...” Jake reached for the stray hair on your face, hoping to slide it behind your ear like he was used to but you moved away. The reason? You didn’t know. You glanced at his expression, a tinge of sadness piercing your heart when you saw hurt flash in his eyes. He merely sighed before forcing a smile on his lips, accepting the treatment you were giving him. “Alright,” He placed the bouquet of flowers on the ground, before standing up straight. He noticed the tinge of red on your nose and cheeks, already knowing that you were cold. So, he carefully removed his coat and scarf, placing it around your form tightly so that you'd only feel warmth. “I know we’re fighting right now but please take care of yourself, I don’t want you to get sick.” He whispered, placing a gentle kiss on your forehead once he was done. “I’ll come back again tomorrow, okay? I love you.” With that, he left, his hands on his pocket as he began to walk back to his own home. You slowly looked down, tears filling up your eyes the moment he left. You took the handkerchief he had on the pocket of his coat, already knowing that he always carried one for you because he knew how much of a crybaby you were. You wiped the tears that fell from your eyes, your heart pouring out the heaviness it felt. You hated him. You hated that he still cared a lot about you even when these things happen. You hated that he always put you first despite being the one who needs this things the most. But most of all, you hated how he loved you more than he does himself. Because you knew, deep down inside you, that you too, were the same. You stared at his form that slowly disappeared, a hint of guilt playing within your heart as you did. “You idiot.”
You Were Meant For Me (SVT Joshua)
Inspired By the song by Gene Kelly - You Were Meant For Me
¸¸♬·¯·♩¸¸♪·¯·♫¸¸¸♬·¯·♩¸¸♪·¯·♫¸¸ Life was a song You came along I've laid awake the whole night through If I ever dared ¸¸♬·¯·♩¸¸♪·¯·♫¸¸¸♬·¯·♩¸¸♪·¯·♫¸¸
"Hey, welcome back." His serene voice entered your ears the moment your eyes closed, the scenery in front of you changing into what he had planned for today. It was a simple set up really. A picnic blanket laid down on the grass, flowers of different kinds found all around us, seeming as if never ending and most importantly, the man you were destined to be with sitting on top of the blanket, waiting for you to join his side.
It was a weird world that you live in, a soulmate system governing the love life of each and every one in this world. There were different ways where you can meet them, and you? You were able to see your soulmate in your dreams, maybe even talk to them. While you can see his face in your dreams, you would immediately forget what he looked like once you woke up, not giving you the chance to search for him. You were only allowed to remember it once the two of you meet outside of your dreams, and only until then are the two of you allowed to tell each other your names. It sucks but it was nice to have someone to talk to after a bad day.
The only thing you could remember was his voice, which was the good thing about it.He had sung to you more times than you could count and every time he did, you would wake up with an amazing mood. His voice was the thing that could get you through a bad moment.
"Angel?" He waved his hands in front of you, breaking you from your small daze. You gave him a smile, sitting down on the empty spot beside him. He handed you a glass of (Favorite drink), as to which you gratefully accepted and offered you some food that he had prepared beforehand. You let out a chuckle, "No Dragons tonight?"
He laughed at your question, a hint of amusement playing in his eyes. "Nope. No dragons tonight."
"Then... What did I do to deserve this kind of romantic setup?" You gestured at the scenery in front of you, curiosity creeping into your mind. The man in front of you smiled softly.
"This? This is nothing. It's the anniversary of the day we first met, after all." You gazed into his eyes, heat rushing to your cheeks when you realized that he was staring at you. You looked away, opting to gaze into the drink that he had handed you.
"Ah, you remembered?"
You felt him take your hands into his, placing a gentle kiss on top of it as he smiled at you. "Of course, my angel. You made quite the impression." He let out a teasing smile, causing you to playfully hit him in the shoulder. "Hey! You said you'd forget!"
"Did I?" He laughed as you continued to playfully hit him before grabbing both of your wrist to stop you from doing so. "You were adorable, Angel. How could I forget?"
¸¸♬·¯·♩¸¸♪·¯·♫¸¸¸♬·¯·♩¸¸♪·¯·♫¸¸ To think you cared This is what I'd say to you: You were meant for me And I was meant for you ¸¸♬·¯·♩¸¸♪·¯·♫¸¸¸♬·¯·♩¸¸♪·¯·♫¸¸
"...but no, this friend of mine really tells the corniest of jokes yet I can't help but laugh at them." You chuckled out, your cheeks hurting from the smile that has not once left your face ever since you entered your dreams. You watched as he laughed along with you, the sound of his laughter bringing joy to your heart.
However, it seems that your happiness must come to an end. You could feel the slight tug on your chest, a frown slowly forming on your lips.
"Is it time?" You stared at him as he asked, his eyes showing a hint of sadness. You nodded, placing your hands on either side of his cheeks before giving a quick peck on his forehead. This caused his cheeks to redden, a sheepish look found on his features. A smile replaced the frown on your lips as you chuckled at the sight, slowly removing your hold. Before you could do so, however, he grabbed your wrists.
You stared at him curiously before feeling his lips on top of yours. It was quick like a passing breeze but it was enough to get your heart pounding. You could only stare at him in a daze, cheeks heating up due to his sudden action. It was now his turn to chuckle, placing his hand on the top of your head, ruffling your hair affectionately. "See you tomorrow?" He whispered out, placing a soft kiss on the top of your head. Your heart fluttered as you tried your best to stop a smile from coming out. "See you tomorrow."

Today was the day, the day where you were going to open your very own shop. Your heart swelled with pride as you stared at the sign in front of you, your heart beating loudly due to the excitement that you felt. With a nod, you entered your shop, getting ready to officially start the day. You head onto the back of the counter and dusted off any dirt that you may have gotten from the outside. Your head shot up when you heard the bell ring, signifying that someone had arrived. "Welcome to Serendipity!"
There were a group of people that entered your shop, four top be exact. However, one of them really stood out to you and you didn't know why. He seemed oddly familiar, as if you had seen him before but you couldn't really think of where. You then realized that he was staring at you, eyes twinkling in amusement before looking back into his group of friends.
This gave you time to really look at him. What you noticed immediately were his eyes. They can be compared to those of Bambi's, quite doe-like with irises of black and an aegyo-sal found underneath. His hair was a shade of brown, similar to those of a chocolate bar and his smile, god you hoped that he'd stop smiling like that.
You only realized that you were staring at him when he gestured his friends to take a seat, telling them that he would be the one to take their orders. You could feel your heart beating faster as he approached you, your mind mentally screaming at you to calm down despite being calm on the outside. Once he was in front of you, you grinned, "Good morning sir! What do you have in mind today?"
He gave you a smile of his own, slowly telling you what they had in mind. Your eyes widened the moment you heard his voice, head shooting up to stare into his eyes. "...Bambi?" You let out shakily, unsure of the word that left your lips.
He let out a soft chuckle, the sound ever so familiar to you. "Took you awhile, Angel."
¸¸♬·¯·♩¸¸♪·¯·♫¸¸¸♬·¯·♩¸¸♪·¯·♫¸¸ You're like a plaintive melody That never lets me free ¸¸♬·¯·♩¸¸♪·¯·♫¸¸¸♬·¯·♩¸¸♪·¯·♫¸¸
"I think your friends are getting curious as to why you're taking so long." You whispered as you handed him their order, all the while silently pointing at his group with your head. He laughed, his eyes smiling along as he did. "I'd say to leave them be but I'm pretty sure that they'd tease both me and you."
You playfully pushed him, gesturing him to leave you. "You better go then! I'll always be here." You then heard the familiar ringing of the bell, telling you that you have one more customer to tend to. "Plus you're holding the line."
He laughed, hands raised in mock surrender as he took their drinks. "I'll see you later tonight?" He asked with a hopeful tone. You stared at him before letting out a small chuckle and nodding, the red of your cheeks slowly to. "You can bet on it. Now go!"
Once his back was turned on you, you tended to your newly arrived customer. You greeted the the person in front of you, taking their order with a smile on your lips. As you prepared the drink of your latest, you came to a realization that you forgot to do an important thing, causing you to facepalm at your own forgetfulness. 'I forgot to ask for his name!'

You were met with darkness as soon as you closed your eyes, something that rarely happened due to the fact that he usually sleeps earlier than you do. "Guess he's not here yet." You mumbled out before letting a smile out, "Perfect." You allowed the scenery around you to change into what you have planned out today. You allowed the darkness to transform into the field that the two of you were used to, however, you allowed it to be in a different time of day.
The vast amount of stars twinkled above you, the moon accompanying them looking down at you. The field was endless, a beautiful cherry blossom tree found behind you and on the ground is a picnic blanket filled with the food that he told you he enjoyed. Feeling as if it wasn't enough, you allowed the ground in front of you to float, a chunk of land floating above and towards the sky. It wasn't long for the gentle breeze to gently hit your face, allowing a small smile to creep on your lips.
"Wow Angel. This is beautiful." You turned around, a grin replacing your smile the moment you saw him. You saw how he let out a smile when you did, his eyes staring only at you. "Isn't it? I hope you don't mind the heights."
"Don't worry, I don't."
You took a seat on the picnic blanket, gesturing him to do the same. The man smiled before doing so, his eyes widening when he realized the assortment of food around him. "Are those...?"
"Your favorites? Yes, they are! I hope you like them." You giggled as you watched him eat, soon joining him in his little feast. While the two of you eat, your mind slowly remembered that you forgot to ask their name. You then coughed awkwardly, causing his eyes to look at you in worry.
"So..." You began, heat slowly creeping up your cheeks. "I was wondering if I could maybe..." You hid your cheeks behind your arms, eyes avoiding his own. "...ask for your name?"
You looked back at him, the man in front of you blinking slowly as he tried to register your question. Once he realized what you were asking, he let out a laugh. His sudden laughter caused your cheeks to heat up, your lips forming into a pout. "It's not even that funny, I just kinda forgot to ask it earlier." You looked away, arms crossed as you try to hide the embarrassment you felt. You refused to look at him even as his laughter ceased, the embarrassment you felt not allowing you to do so. However, what he said next forced you to return your attention towards him.
"Joshua." Your head whipped towards his direction, wondering if you had heard it right. "What?"
He chuckled before repeating his introduction, "My name. It's Joshua Hong. Nice to meet you, (Y/n)."
Your eyebrow raised at the mention of your name, wondering how he knew your name. "How did you..."
"It was on your name tag earlier."
You facepalmed at his statement, silently scolding yourself for asking. "Oh right! I feel stupid now."
Joshua laughed, amused by your antics as you scolded yourself for forgetting a simple thing. He stared at you, his heart warming the more he did. "Cute." He blurted out, causing your cheeks to heat up at his sudden statement. "Am not. Stop messing with me."
"You are, you can't tell me otherwise." He told you in a "as a matter of fact" manner, as if nothing you say would change his mind. You sighed before looking away, muttering out a small thank you. He placed a hand on the top of your hand, a soft smile placed on his lips. "Good."
Your eyes focused themselves on Joshua, admiring the man that you were destined to be with. You felt extremely lucky to be with him, silently thanking God that he was the one He gave to you. You let out a small smile before looking at the moon, your mind suddenly remembering a statement you adored.
You let out a small cough, "The moon is beautiful tonight, isn't it?" You muttered out, causing Joshua's eyes to widen at your sudden statement. You knew that he knew this since the two of you talked about it once before. However, you couldn't avoid the nervousness that you felt, wondering if it was too early to say this.
It wasn't long before Joshua recovered from the initial shock. He let out a content smile as he took your hand into his, gently squeezing it as he looked at you as if you were the most precious thing in his life. his voice a whisper as he answered you. "I can die happy."

I love you for Sentimental Reasons (SVT Vernon)
Hey there! This is a songfic inspired by Nat King Cole's song, titled I fell in love with you for Sentimental Reasons. Enjoy!

Vernon stared at you from the door, a smile present on his lips as he did. He did nothing to disturb you from your current state, watching as you busied yourself with cooking. He watched as your eyebrows furrowed from trying to understand the recipe, your eyes staring at the screen of your phone with intense focus. His eyes softened when you tasted the food you cooked, your hips swaying to the song you had on due to the happiness of acquiring the taste you wanted.
He let out a small laugh at your little dance, causing you to whisk your head towards the source. You let out a warm smile when you saw Vernon at the doorway, feet walking towards him. You wrapped your arms around him, giggling when you felt him return the gesture. You looked up, your smile softening when you saw he was staring right back, "You're home," You whispered out as Vernon leaned down to give you a quick peck.
"I'm home." He let out a gentle smile, taking your hand from behind him before carefully spinning you around, soon placing your arms on his shoulders. The two of you swayed to the beat of the song, causing a small flush to your cheeks by the sudden moment.
You looked at him, giggling as he hummed along to the song on your phone, "What's got you in such a good mood?"
"Seeing you." He stared into your eyes, biting his lips as he tried to hold in his laughter but to no avail, the two of you laughed at the cheesiness of his answer. As the laughter died down, you couldn't deny the warmth that you felt in your heart. Your eyes never left his as you took his hand into your own, smiling warmly at him. "Thank you." He muttered out, causing a huge grin to visit your lips. You directed him towards the table, gesturing for him to sit down as you prepare the table. You gave him a playful glare when you saw him stand up, causing Vernon to sit down immediately.
Vernon watched you as prepared in front of him, feeling a tinge of guilt but allowed you to continue on with what you're doing. He watched as you bustled around the kitchen, finding the things that you need before placing them in front of him. He sighed before stealthily walking behind you, taking the food that you were about to bring him. You let out a small pout, "You don't have to help me, you know?"
"I know, but I wanted to." With one last smile, he placed the food that you cooked on the table, the smell enticing him to eat. He stared at you with a grin, sitting down on his chair, "This looks good!"
"I know!" You grinned cheekily, sitting down in front of him, "It's my mother's recipe. Let's eat?"
He nodded as comforting silence enveloped the two of you. You didn't mind, however. Just him eating in front of you was enough to make your smile widen and your heartbeat quicken. You smiled when you saw how he enjoyed the food you make. Vernon, noticing that you were staring at him, peeked at you from the corner of his eyes before letting out a thumbs-up. "This tastes delicious!"
Your heart warmed at his words, feeling as if he had taken all the tiredness that you felt earlier in the day. He just had this effect on you and you didn't know if he knew what he was doing. He knew how to make you happy during your hopeless times, knew the words to make you weak and it didn't help that he showed you he loved you through his actions. Your eyes softened at the sight of him, your next words coming out before you could stop it.
"I love you." You muttered out, eyes widening when you realized what you have said. You took a careful glance towards him, noticing that his cheeks were redder than usual. Vernon took a deep breath before allowing his grin to widen. "I love you too."
¸¸♬·¯·♩¸¸♪·¯·♫¸¸¸♬·¯·♩¸¸♪·¯·♫¸¸ Please give your loving heart to me And say we'll never part I think of you every morning ¸¸♬·¯·♩¸¸♪·¯·♫¸¸¸♬·¯·♩¸¸♪·¯·♫¸¸
"Would you still love me if I was a worm?" The sudden question caught you off guard as you turned your head to look at Vernon, checking to see if he was joking. When you saw the seriousness in his eyes, you knew that he wasn't so you chuckled awkwardly, "...what kind of worm though?"
"Like the one you find in the dirt."
You took a second to think, placing a hand under your chin before giving him a sheepish look. "Sorry Verns, I don't think I will." You whispered out quietly. You peeked at his expression from your peripherals, the look of utter betrayal plastered on his face. He removed his hands from your grip, causing you to try and take it once more. However, he was quick to evade, dodging all your attempts to hold his hand.
You looked at him with a pout on your lips, "Can I just hold your hand..." You averted your gaze, cheeks tinted pink as you muttered out in a quiet voice, "...please?" While his heart skipped a beat at your expression, he shook his head, face void of any emotions. "Sorry, hand holding is only available for those who'll love me even when I'm a worm."
"But worms are pretty slimy and--" You laughed when he removed you from his hold, his arms crossed to prevent you from going back to his lap. You tried your best to spread his arms but to no avail, he was adamant on his resolve. After a few minutes of doing so, you gave up, arms crossed as you sat in front of him. You saw how he only stared at you, trying his best to hide the smile creeping upon his lips.
With a pout, you spread your arms in hopes of a hug, "Don't you love me?"
Vernon, unable to keep up his facade, chuckled as he walked towards you, wrapping his arms around you with his head buried on your shoulder. "I love you, even if you don't love me as a worm."
¸¸♬·¯·♩¸¸♪·¯·♫¸¸¸♬·¯·♩¸¸♪·¯·♫¸¸ Dream of you every night Darling, I'm never lonely Whenever you are in sight I love you for sentimental reasons ¸¸♬·¯·♩¸¸♪·¯·♫¸¸¸♬·¯·♩¸¸♪·¯·♫¸¸
"I'm not asleep yet, you know?" You whispered out drowsily, eyes closed as you buried yourself into his chest. "I can feel you staring at me." He let out a small chuckle, his hands taking yours in a tight grip. You felt him place a light peck on the top of your hand, your eyes fluttering open at his sudden gesture.
You rubbed your eyes with your other hand to try and remove the drowsiness you feel. Once you were somehow awake, you let out a small smile, giving a small peck on his cheek as you readjusted yourself on his lap to face him. "I love you." You whispered out.
Vernon could only let out a chuckle, removing the stray hair that littered on your face. He stared into your eyes, his heartbeat quickening at the sight of you staring at him lovingly. He let out an affectionate smile, placing a kiss on the top of your hands once more.
"This is going to sound cheesy but," He stared right into your eyes, "You're the first person I want to see when I wake up," He gave you a light kiss on the top of your head, "The last person I think of before I sleep," He pressed the tip of his nose onto yours, rubbing it lightly, "...and the person I want to be with forever." You felt your heart flutter at his words, your cheeks heating up at his sudden confession. With a warm smile on his lips, he gave you a quick kiss before slowly
You then held the side of his face to stop him, closing your eyes to give him a deep kiss. You felt your heart beat faster when he reciprocated the kiss, your arms soon finding themselves on top of his shoulder. It wasn't long before the two of you broke from the kiss, both of your cheeks flushed from the heated moment. The two of you stared into each other's eyes, not one of you daring to break away from each other's gaze.
You let out a soft smile, giving him numerous pecks as you played with his hair. "Stay the night?"
Vernon could only chuckle at your invitation, giving you one last kiss before taking your hands from behind him. "Of course."

Pink Camellia (SKZ Bang Chan)
Your eyes stared lifelessly across your room, the feeling of numbness spreading throughout your body as time passes by. You couldn't find it in yourself to cry anymore, your resolve not allowing you to do so anymore. You wanted to stop, stop everything from working, stop yourself from feeling the pain. You knew that it would hurt but you didn't expect it to hurt this much. It was suffocating, the disease that you had obtained. Painful, even. You curled into a ball as you clutched your chest, voice hoarse from all the coughing you did earlier. You glanced around you, flowers from your earlier coughing session surrounding you.
You felt another session coming up as you coughed, closing your eyes, wanting nothing more than to disappear into the feeling of nothingness. So you greatly embraced it, like a gift after hardships. You could feel your breaths shallowing, your heart slowly losing its rhythm. You let out a small smile before coughing, flowers of pink escaping your mouth.
"(Y/n)!"

You never really knew how it started or when exactly it started. All you knew that every time you saw him, the cliche things would occur. Heartbeat quickening, a knot in your stomach, a feeling of nervousness coursing through your body, and all of that. You didn't remember how but you knew exactly why.
You had been friends with him for a while now, the two of you meeting during trainee days. While you had given up on becoming an idol, you had grown in another industry. You became a producer, and at times, an album designer. You had been there to help design their albums, as well as give your comments on their songs whenever needed. You visited their company more often than you could remember, the boys already accustomed to your presence.
In turn, he had been there, never leaving your side when you realized that the life of an idol wasn't for you. He cheered you up through your rejections, brought you food whenever you forgot to, listened whenever you felt down, and even checked up on you when he didn't need to. It was his actions and genuine personality that allowed your heart to fall for him.
So, here you were again, by his side as you watched him work on the new song. You smiled at his serious expression, appreciating the beauty that he held as he focused. There were times where you wished that he'd see it as well because you knew how much he disliked seeing himself. This has only caused you to sigh, your chin resting on your hands as you glanced at his computer screen.
You saw how much he had done already, the work amounting to a year's worth so you held his hand, causing the man to look at you.
"You should really rest soon, Chan. I know you haven't gotten enough sleep for the past few days."
"(Y/n), I have to finish these." He muttered out, his eyes looking back towards the screen. You sighed before covering his eyes, "I'll continue to do this if you won't stop."
"(Y/n)..."
"No buts, a bit of sleep won't hurt you."
You heard him sigh in defeat as he nodded, your hands lowering in his defeat. You let out a cheeky smile as you grabbed his stuff, making sure nothing was left behind. From the corner of your eye, you saw him stretch and yawn, his body visibly showing that he was tired. You smiled as you handed him his things, his hands taking his bag from you. "You know, you really shouldn't be the one to lecture me from overworking."
"Well, if not me then who? I know what happens to the body when overworked and I know for sure that I don't want it to happen to you." You smiled as you waved him goodbye, "You know the drill, we can't be seen together or else they might get the wrong ideas."
"I know what you mean but are you sure? It's already pretty late and I think the fans already know that we're just friends?"
You let out a small chuckle, "I know but..." You averted your gaze from him before waving him your goodbyes. "Better safe than sorry." With one last cheeky smile, you turned your back towards him. You headed to the company parking lot, your smile disappearing once you were out of his sight. "You didn't have to tell me that."
─── ・ 。゚☆: *.☽ .* :☆゚. ───
You coughed into your sleeves, your head turning away from the man beside you. Chan glanced at you for a second before gluing his eyes back at the screen. "You okay?"
"Yeah, just had this cough for a while now." You cleared your throat, before grabbing your bag to look for some water.
"Have you taken some meds for that?"
You could only chuckle at his question, "I haven't but it should be alright, I think I'm going to be okay soon."
He turned his head and looked at you disapprovingly, your eyes soon averting themselves from his gaze. "That won't do." He stood up from his seat, "Stay here, I'm going to look for some meds."
You were about to object but he was out of the room in a second. You could only sigh as you tried to calm your heart. 'You idiot.' You sighed, soon scrolling through your phone and hoping for him to come back immediately. After a few minutes of mindless scrolling, you placed your phone down, looking around his studio to see if anything has changed. You kind of admired how neat his studio usually is, the place almost never getting messy.
Your eyes then found themselves glancing at his open computer screen. You saw how many songs he had produced, smiling as you admired how hard he had worked. You then heard a sudden buzz, your eyes looking for the source. You chuckled when you saw that he had left his phone, mentally teasing him for his forgetfulness. The phone buzzed once more, showing you a message that you didn't quite expect. You felt a lump form on your throat as you read the message, your heart squeezing uncomfortably.
It was a confession.
You averted your gaze away from his phone screen, trying your best to desperately forget about what you had read. You felt an uncomfortable squeeze in your chest, your stomach doing an uncomfortable spin. You then let out a cough, covering your mouth and feeling as if there was something was stuck in your throat. You felt something come out of your mouth as you coughed, your eyes widening when you saw a lone pink petal in them. You scrunched your eyebrows in confusion, "What the...?"
You heard the door behind you open, startling you and causing you to hide the petal in your pocket. You looked behind you to see Chan with a plastic bag in his hands, the man sitting beside you and taking the bottle of water out of the plastic bag. He opened it, handing you both the water and meds that he bought for you. You let out a grateful smile, taking the meds and drinking the water he gave you.
"Thank you."
"No problem." With that he returned to his producing, allowing your mind to wander. You couldn't help but be curious about the petal that came out of you, at the same time scared of what it meant.
─── ・ 。゚☆: *.☽ .* :☆゚. ───
"It's called the Hanahaki disease, Ms. (L/n)."
You stared at him curiously, not knowing how to feel about his diagnosis. "Hanahaki...?"
The doctor nodded, glancing at the petals that you have coughed earlier before looking at you. "It's what you have right now. This disease is quite rare, actually, seeing as you are one of the few that I have diagnosed it with."
You stared at the doctor, your hands placed on your lap as you cleared your throat. "Is there any cure for this... Hanahaki disease?"
Once again, he nodded, "There are two solutions to the Hanahaki disease, Ms. (L/n)." He held out his pointer finger, "One, seeing as this has rooted from an unrequited love, the person that you like must reciprocate the feelings that you hold for them."
'Oh.' You could only laugh awkwardly at the suggestion, eyes averting themselves from his stare. "And the other one?"
"You could get surgery to remove the bud that is planted within your lungs."
You nodded slowly at the second option, fingers rubbing your chin as you thought. "How high is the success rate for the surgery?"
"97% success rate, Ms. (L/n) so you wouldn't have to worry about that, however..."
"However?"
He looked at you apologetically, a sad smile lacing his lips as he spoke, "You wouldn't be able to feel emotions anymore, Ms. (L/n)."
With that, your smile had disappeared. While you wanted to heal yourself from the pain that you felt, you didn't want to walk around the world like an emotionless robot. After a few minutes of silence, you came to a decision. You glanced at the doctor, "Thank you." You let out a half-smile as you stood up, "I'll think about it."
─── ・ 。゚☆: *.☽ .* :☆゚. ───
Your forehead creased as you did your best to untangle your earphones, your eyes squinting to see where the tangle starts. Chan, noticing this, gently tapped on your shoulders, causing you to break out of your concentration and look at him. He gave you a gentle smile as he pointed at your earphones, "May I? You look like you're having a hard time."
You let out a sheepish smile before handing out the object in your hands. He chuckled at your demeanor, taking your earphones from your hands. This caused you to stare at what he was going to do. You watched as he untangled the earphones easily,
"Here you go." He smiled as he handed you back your earphones, your cheeks tinted pink when you felt his fingertips brush against your palm. You let out a silent 'thank you' before plugging it onto your phone. You scrolled through your playlist, placing the earbud on your ear. You glanced at Chan, handing out the other towards him. "Listen with me?"
He let out his dimple smile, his hands taking the earbud from yours. He was about to place it in his ears when he was suddenly called by Changbin, the latter apologizing for his interruption.
You gestured that it was okay, your head turning towards him. You saw his apologetic look, "I'm sorry,"
"Why are you apologizing? Go! It might be really important." You laughed before pushing him towards Changbin's direction. Your smile softened as you stared at his form, watching as he talked with his member. You barely notice Han sit beside you until he talked, your head turning towards him in surprise.
"Do you plan on telling him?" He asked, causing your eyes to glance at the man he was talking about. You watched as he talked with Changbin, "I don't think I ever will." You muttered, letting out a wistful smile as you stretched your hands towards him, seemingly reaching for his form. "He's that one guy who everyone can fall for so easily, you know while I'm... just me. We're worlds apart."
Feeling as if someone was staring at him, Chan looked in your direction. This caused your eyes to widen, cheeks flushing when you realized that you had your hands outstretched. He let out a wave, his dimple smile showing as he did. Awkwardly, you waved back, letting out a small smile of your own.
"Well, continue doing what you're doing and I'm sure you don't have to." Han teased, causing you to bump your shoulders at him harshly. You let out a sigh as you placed your chin on the palm of your hand.'Why would he even like me? I know just how many girls fall in love with him every day and he could pick anyone else. He deserves only the best.' Your heart saddened as you remembered the scene from a few days ago. 'That is if he doesn't already have someone.' You clutched your chest before letting out a small cough. Your eyes widened when you realized that you were about to have another coughing session.
You hastily excused yourself as you ran towards the bathroom, unknowing of the stares that you received when you left. Chan jogged towards Han, eyes worried as he looked at his friend. "Is she okay?"
Han could only shrug his shoulders, not knowing what had happened to you. He glanced at the door where you had left, his mind wondering what had happened to you. He was about to follow you when his phone buzzed, his hand taking it out of his pocket to see that the group was about to gather. He sighed before going through your messages, sending you one last text before leaving with his members.
You left in a hurry, Are you okay?
─── ・ 。゚☆: *.☽ .* :☆゚. ───
It had been a few days since Chan had seen you and he couldn't help but worry. The last time that he had seen you was the day that you have left suddenly. He had asked you through text but you haven't told him what had happened, often brushing off the incident and moving on to an entirely new topic.
So he made a decision to visit you in your home carrying a pack of (favorite food), knowing full well that you had probably forgotten to take care of yourself again. He rang your doorbell, waiting for you to respond. When you didn't open up after a few minutes, he took out his phone and called. After a few rings, you answered, "Chan?" Your voice was hoarse, causing a small pang of worry to visit his heart.
"Oh wow, you sound sick." He teased, hoping to at least brighten up your mood.
You laughed softly, "Don't tell me what I already know but why are you calling? I'm kinda busy."
"Well," He glanced at the food that he held in his hands, "I figured that we haven't been talking much and I'm kinda worried about you so I'm kind of outside your apartment bearing gifts?"
"Oh... You should have told me you were coming, my home's a mess."
"When was it not?"
He could feel you roll your eyes on the other end, "Very funny. Just give me a few minutes." With that, you hang up. Chan waited patiently outside the front door, silently hoping that you were doing okay. After a few minutes, he heard you near the door, opening it to see you shyly smiling at him. "Come in."
He entered your home, your eyes following his form. You closed the door behind him, handing him the slipper that you have especially for him. He looked at you with a smile, silently thanking you. You brushed him off before entering your living room.
While Chan didn't want to mention it, he noticed that you have lost weight. He knew that you rarely ate when you work but he didn't expect it to be to this extent. He pursed his lips, silently thinking of ways to make you take care of yourself.
He followed you into the living room, eyes glancing around to see if there was anything different. In the corner of his eye, he noticed a flower, the flower that he had once seen while scrolling for their meanings. He looked at you, calling you before looking back at the flower. "(Y/n)."
You glanced at him curiously, following his line of sight before realizing what he was looking at.
"What is this? Are you interested in flowers now?" He teased, his dimple smile showing as he reached for the pink camellia. Your eyes widened when you saw what he was about to, your voice soon filling your home. "Don't touch that!" You looked down, hands rubbing your arm and your voice lowering, "It's disgusting."
Chan was startled by your sudden loudness, eyes widening as he retracted his hand. "Sorry."He muttered out. He then gestured the food he brought, his smile slowly returning. "Where do I place this?"
"In the--" You were cut off by a cough, clutching your chest before running to the bathroom.
Chan grew worried so he placed the food at your living room table before following you to the bathroom. His eyes widened with what he saw, mind not believing what he was seeing. You were coughing out petals, a lot of them at that. Chan stood there watching you, not knowing what to do to help you. He broke out of his trance when you finished, voice returning to him.
"Why are you coughing out petals, (Y/n)?" His sudden voice caused you to stop in your tracks, your eyes widening as you turned your head towards his direction. You were about to answer him but your coughing stopped you from doing so. Your hands clutched the sides of the sink, eyes watering at the pain you felt while coughing. Chan, seemingly alarmed, went by your side immediately. He looked at you worriedly, hands rubbing your back in hopes to somehow ease the pain.
Once you were done, you looked at the petals, as well as a few flowers, that filled your sink. You winced when you saw the blood that stained them, opting to look away and wipe your eyes. You looked down, unable to look at the man beside you. You took a deep breath before leaving the bathroom, leaving the man behind as you looked for a trash bag.
Chan followed behind you, offering to help you clean up. You wave him off, letting out a half-smile. "I'm fine, you don't have to worry. Just..." You pointed towards the food he brought, "set up the things so we can eat once I'm done with this."
Silently, he followed, not wanting to force you to tell him anything if you weren't ready. He placed the food that he bought on your dining table, his mind wandering to the scenario earlier. He couldn't wrap his head around what had happened, finding the whole thing bizarre. He shook his head as he focused on setting the table, sitting on the chair once he was done. It didn't take long for you to join him, the two of you sitting in silence as you attended to him. You tried to distract him from the earlier events by making small talk, giving him food every now and then to slowly take food away from yours. You didn't have an appetite, after all. Chan, noticing what you were doing, took the bowl of food and attended to you, his expression serious. "You need to eat, (Y/n)."
"What a subtle way of telling me that I've grown thinner." You teased, hoping to change the mood but once you saw his look at you, you silenced. It went on like that as the two of you ate but you broke it, answering the silent question that he had.
"I'm sick, Chan," You looked down, hands placing your chopsticks down, "and I don't know if I can heal from this."
He looked up at you, "What do you mean?"
You pursed your lips before staring into his eyes, your heart beating out of your chest as soon as you did. "I don't have much time left to live."

Chan found himself leaving your home after that conversation, his mind refusing to believe your statement. Hanahaki? There wasn't a disease like that right? There was no way that a disease that makes you cough up flowers be real, right? But the sight of you doing so earlier was enough to make him believe that it was real.
So that night he searched, searched for any information that he could find about this disease. His eyes skimmed through a medical article that he had found, his blood going cold the more he read about it.
Hanahaki disease is an illness that is born out of unrequited love, where the person usually throws or coughs up petals, and at times flowers, due to the person's throat filling up with flowers. There are different stages to this disease. At first, the person will feel certain itchiness to the throat and experiencing a mild cough which will progress to harshly throwing up or coughing up blood and petals. If the person is coughing up full flowers, please seek medical health immediately.
Chan's breath hitched when he remembered the flowers found in your living room and kitchen sink. You were already coughing up flowers. "Just how long have you been enduring this, (Y/n)?" He mumbled out, his fingers scrolling to find the cure to this disease. He stopped when he saw what he was looking for.
There are two ways to cure the Hanahaki disease. One is if the person they have feelings for reciprocates them, not on a friendship basis but with genuine feelings of love.
"She loves... someone?" Chan muttered out, mentally remembering your precious conversations. You have not mentioned anyone to him, nor have you even told him that you liked someone. He let out a deep sigh, "I wonder who it is?" He shook his head before returning to the article.
Another way is if the person agrees to perform surgery, however by doing this, they must be prepared to lose the emotions that they have as a person.
Chan reread the final sentence, eyes closing as he rubbed his temples. His heart was breaking for you, mind already thinking about how much you're going through. He didn't know what to say to you but he knew that he didn't have much time left. He knew that there was more chance of you living if you undergo surgery but he knew you wouldn't agree to that. Despite that, he was going to convince you, seeing as he doesn't want you to go yet.
Not when he still has so much more to say.
─── ・ 。゚☆: *.☽ .* :☆゚. ───
"(Y/n), please, you have to save yourself," Chan begged, his usual calmness all but gone as his eyes stared into yours. "I heard that there's someone who specializes in this field and--"
"He can perform surgery, I know." You finished his sentence for him, a grim smile gracing your lips.
"Then why aren't you--"
"Agreeing to surgery?" You shook your head, placing your hands on his shoulder as you tried your best not to cry. "It's because I don't want to lose such a precious gift like emotion, Chan."
Chan was about to say something but one look at your face knew that it was hopeless. He looked away, unable to find it in himself to stare at you, knowing that his heart would break if he did. Your expression showed that you have already accepted what was going to happen and that he could do nothing to change your mind.
You saw how he avoided your stare, causing you to chuckle at this. Boldly but slowly, you wrapped your arms around his form, your head leaning against his chest. You were startled when you felt his arms wrap around your form as well but slowly succumbed to the feeling. You closed your eyes as you listened to the slow beating of his heart.
Chan held you like you were the most fragile thing in the world, scared that he could break you with his tight grip. "There's another way." You whispered, afraid to break the serenity between the two of you. "Another way to heal from this."
Despite knowing what it is, he took all the courage he had and asked. "What is it?"
"I'd have to confess to the person I love but it's already too late because I know that he loves someone else."
"You have to at least try, (Y/n)." He felt you shake your head in disagreement, causing a sigh to escape his lips. There was silence between the two of you until he heard your quiet sobs. Chan gritted his teeth, his hand placing itself on your back in hopes to comfort you.
"When I'm gone, you better not cry for me. As my best friend, you aren't allowed to do that." You muttered in between your sobs, causing his heart to break at the sound.
"No promises."
─── ・ 。゚☆: *.☽ .* :☆゚. ───
The two of you were just together yesterday, playing your usual antics and trying your best to forget the situation. So why were you laying down here in the hospital bed with your life hanging by a thread? Why were they telling him to say his goodbyes?
Chan felt his eyes tear up, a sob stuck in his throat as he gripped your hands. He hoped that you could hear him right now. Han had told him who you were in love with when the group had visited you earlier, his heart breaking when he realized that he was the cause of this. He should have confessed, he planned to do so but something was always stopping him from doing so.
So here he was by your side, eyes glued to your form as he watched your chest heave up and down shakily. He took a deep breath, his voice shaking as he whispered, "Stay with me, (Y/n). Please, just..." A sob escaped his lips, a sense of desperation laced in his voice. "Don't leave me. I still have so much to tell you. Oh god,"
He gripped your hand harder yet gentle enough not to hurt you, he didn't want to bring you more pain, after all. He took a shaky breath, "I still haven't told you how beautiful you are to me. I haven't told you how I love it when you're there to cheer me on every comeback and how you tell me you're proud of me. I haven't told you how I love listening to the stories you tell, as well as the songs you make."
There was a slight pause, his sob escaping his lips before continuing, "(Y/n), I still want to see you smile. What would I do without your smile? I still want to hear your laugh, so please, wake up (Y/n). Who would be my muse if you didn't?"
Chan stood up from his seat, placing a gentle kiss on the top of your forehead. His hands patted the top of your head softly, a silent prayer repeating through his head. "I love you so much so don't let go, (Y/n). Stay."
─── ・ 。゚☆: *.☽ .* :☆゚. ───
"I love you so much so don't let go, (Y/n). Stay."
You have heard it all, despite being in a dream-like state. What do you know? Maybe it was a dream, a dream of him confessing to you. After all, you did want him to reciprocate your feeling so your mind might be playing tricks on you.
But you wished that it wasn't.
So you took the chance, wanting nothing more than to hear it personally and see if he truly means it. You hoped that you could break out of this heavy feeling that your body was giving you so you could see him. All you remembered was the feeling of nothingness, your consciousness swimming in the endless swirl of black.
Until you weren't.
Random Reverie #1 (Stray Kids)
This is something that I've thought of suddenly in the middle of writing while listening to this song. There's a one-shot coming out soon, I swear. I'm just kind of... you know haha
How would Stray Kids React to you wanting to dance in the rain?
It's the way Bang Chan would grin at you as you danced in the middle of the rain, watching you lovingly as you danced your heart out. You'd realize that he wasn't joining you and you'd hold him by the hand to gesture him to join you. He'd laugh, shaking his head no, "I'm already happy watching you, (Y/n)."
Or the way Lee Know would laugh at your antics for a few seconds, teasing you for your clumsy moves before joining you, the two of you dancing the wildest of dances while laughing, uncaring if anyone were to see the two of you. You'd catch his glances every once in a while, your heart beating loudly at how he'd stare at you with so much love.
Maybe it's the way Changbin would play the music for you, his amused look never leaving his expression as you danced. He wouldn't admit it but he loved seeing the smile that graced your lips, allowing his own to appear on his. His heart would beat loudly every time you stared at him while dancing, his chuckles escaping his lips every now and then as he watched.
Or how Hyunjin would slow dance with you, the two of you swaying to the sound of his soft hum that only the two of you hear, holding you tightly in his arms with his head buried on your shoulder as you listen to the loud beating of his heart.
Your very own hype man, Han, would be loud, loud enough for the world to hear how much he admires you. He'd yell out words that can make your heart warm, allowing you to dance your heart out. He'd even show you a few moves he knows after a while, allowing laughter to escape both of your lips.
Felix would be the type to dance along with you as well but he'd laugh every few seconds due to the two of you dancing those bizarre dances. You would be the one to hype him up, telling him how amazing he looks while dancing, all the while clutching your stomach as you watched his wacky antics.
It's the way Seungmin chuckles at you before singing, slowly talking your hand and giving you a slow spin as he smiles warmly at you. His stares would give you butterflies, honestly, a look that makes you feel like you were the only one in the world.
And last but not the least, Jeongin would playfully twirl you around, laughing at you whenever you hit him playfully for making you dizzy. His grin would never leave his lips as long as the two of you are dancing, his eyes never leaving yours as you do.
And every time they did so, you'd fall in love with them even more.
Limerence (SVT S.Coups)
The castle of Kestramore greeted you as you got out of the carriage, your hands tugging at the front of your ballgown. You found yourself staring at the line of royalties entering one by one, your heart pounding within your chest as you squeeze your hands to ease the nervousness you felt. On the outside, you may seem like a composed young lady but in reality, you felt like a newborn fawn heading out into the wild. You took a deep breath before walking inside of the castle.
You couldn't help but let your eyes wander around, admiring the design of the castle you were in. You had always admired the structure of the Kestramore Castle, always reading about it in the books that were found in your personal library. You sighed as you stopped yourself from touching anything, wanting more than anything to let out the joy that you felt from being here but alas, you had to keep your composure.
It wasn't long before you reached the large doors of the ballroom, a servant standing at the front of it. He stared at you, his mouth slightly open as he did. You tilted your head in confusion, wondering why he hadn't taken the invitation you had. "Hello?"
Seeming to have been broken from his trance, he held out his hand. You complied, handing the invitation to the servant. "Your name, my lady?"
"(Y/n). (Y/n) (L/n) from Tirianna." You uttered out, letting out a soft smile.
You saw how his eyes widened, a faint blush present on his cheeks as he coughed. He gestured the knights to open the door for you, as to which you nodded as thanks. You took a deep breath before entering the ballroom, your fingers sweating underneath the gloves you wore.
"Presenting Princess (Y/n) from the kingdom of Tirianna"
As you entered, you could feel the set of eyes that landed on your form. You felt the sudden urge to look down on the ground as you walked but you did everything you could to stop yourself from doing so. You were a dignified princess from Tirianna, your teacher would be disappointed in you if you did. So you walked with as much grace as you could muster, smiling whenever you made eye contact with another person. Taking a careful glance around the ballroom, you decided that you needed to socialize so you approached a set of royals with who you had grown familiar.
"(Y/n)! You're here!" Princess Elise, from the kingdom of Sarithia, had greeted you with a large grin. You chuckled at his energy, playfully slapping him in the arms as you did. "You talk as if we haven't seen each other last week, Princess Elise."
She let out a playful glare, a small pout present on her lips. "I told you, just call me Elise."
"Alright, Princess Elise." You teased.
"(Y/n)! I told you to---"
"It seems like the person I've been waiting for is here." A voice stopped Elise from speaking, allowing your heads to turn towards the source. Once you saw who it was, you smiled, your hands raised to wave at them. "Yvonne!" You saw how she let out a smile towards you, her arms outstretched to hug you. You gratefully returned her hug, happiness bubbling in your stomach.
She had been one of your first few friends, the two of you meeting at the town square. It was a funny story, really. You were only walking by when you saw her, surrounded by a group of stuck-up princesses. They had been yelling at her, telling her words that would have made anyone tear up but she only glared at them, mouth shut as she listened to them. You had stayed, watching the group grow more annoyed at her silence. It was only when they threatened to slap her that you ran to her side, catching the hand of the female before harshly pushing her.
You took her hand after doing so, head-turning to her before whispering, "Run." You pulled her along, the female growing confused as the two of you ran to get away from the stuck-ups.
"Why are you doing this?!" She yelled out in between breaths, as to which you could only laugh.
"I don't know! I just wanted to!"
After that, the female made sure that you felt at ease with the royalties, introducing you to her select group of friends. There was never a time where she didn't invite you to her tea parties, sometimes only being the two of you. She, like you, only had a few friends, seeing as she is quite introverted and prefers to be with those she is close with.
"No fair, (Y/n)! You call her by her name while I'm stuck with formalities."
The two of you broke from the hug, the two of you looking at the Princess. Yvonne smiled sarcastically, a teasing tone lacing her voice as she stared at her. "Oh? Is that so? I thought you guys were close but I guess not?" She sighed, head shaking in playful disappointment.
"We are!"
The sight of the two caused you to laugh at their interaction. Noticing that you were quiet, Yvonne turned to you, "Have you only arrived, (Y/n)?"
You nodded, "I did, I was lucky to see Elise immediately. It was getting uncomfortable with the people staring at me."
"Well," She glanced at you from up to down, before letting out a proud smile, "I wouldn't be surprised if they did, have you seen yourself?"
"What do you mean?"
"You look absolutely ravishing, (Y/n)."
Elise nodded in agreement, "That's right! You look really good today (Y/n)!" She let out a thumbs up, her grin present on her mouth once more. You felt your cheeks heat up, unable to look at your friends due to their comments. 'Was that really the reason...?'
"By the way, isn't today the day?"
You glance at Yvonne, wondering what she had meant by that. She gestured you to look at your arm, your eyes trailing at the numbers that were on them.
00:00:07:49
"How did you..." You trailed off, gazing at the female in front of you. She merely let out a small chuckle, sipping the wine that she had taken from the servant that passed by.
It wasn't long before Elise left the two of you, the female called on by her soulmate, Felix. She looked back at the two of you, saying out his apologies before waving.
"It looks like it's only the two of us now," Yvonne whispered out. From the corner of your eyes, you saw a person walking towards the two of you. They had gestured for you to pretend you didn't see them, as to which you subtly nodded before smiling at Yvonne. "It won't be for too long."
She looked at you, confusion present on her features. It wasn't long before the person joined you, his hands covering Yvonne's eyes. Her hands held the hands that were on top of her eyes, taking them off before turning around. When she saw who it was, her expression visibly softening, "Wonwoo."
The said man chuckled, placing his hands around her waist before kissing the top of her head. As the two conversed, you didn't fail to see the way they look at one another, eyes full of love and adoration for one another. Smiling, you quietly left their side, walking towards the large window of the ballroom.
Once more, you checked on your arm, hands tracing the numbers that were placed on them. You felt a sense of nervousness bubbling in your stomach, mind overthinking about the littlest of things.
'I wonder if he'd like me.' You sighed before fixating your eyes on the view of the garden outside, admiring the hard work that was placed onto it. Your curiosity grew more as you continued to stare outside, soon making a decision to head out. You walked towards the exit leading to the garden, soon welcoming the silence that it brought. While you enjoyed conversing with your friends, it was quite tiring to be in a large crowd of people.
You walked into the garden, admiring the flowers that decorated your surroundings. Your eyes spotted a nearby bench, deciding that it would be best to take a seat. It was a beautiful night to be outside, the stars shining brightly in the sky. You smiled as you closed your eyes, enjoying the breeze that the night gave you.
A sudden pinch on your arm made you flinch, your other hand rubbing on the part where you felt the pinch. You glanced at your hand, Your eyes widening when you saw the numbers all turn to zero. "No way..."
"It's you." A voice broke you out of your trance, head-turning towards the source. Your eyes widened when you realized who it was, your mind refusing to believe what you were seeing. You glanced down at your arm before slowly glancing back up to the man. "Prince Seungcheol," You whispered out breathlessly, your heart refusing to calm down.
You couldn't help but admire the person in front of you. His hair was as dark as a raven, his skin a beautiful shade of ivory. His face was a bit on the smaller side, with the curves of his mouth pointing downwards. His eyes were the most prominent to you, a pair of intense eyes that were now staring at you. If God had favourites then he was surely one of them.
The man approached you, a sheepish smile gracing his lips. "May I?"
You nodded, eyes wandering around the garden as he sat down beside you. You could feel your cheeks flush, your hands fiddling on the gown you wore. You turned to him, the man looking at the fountain in front of you. "How did you know?"
"I just felt it, I guess? The moment my eyes laid on you, I felt a small pinching on my arm and when I looked, it was all zeroes." He peeked at you from the corner of his eyes, "Didn't you feel it?"
"I did, I know exactly how it feels."
There was silence between the two of you after, but it wasn't the type that made you uncomfortable. Rather, you appreciated his presence beside you, despite the silence. You slightly shivered, the cold night breeze causing you goosebumps. Seungcheol, seeming to have noticed, slowly began taking off his coat. "Are you cold?"
"A bit," You glanced at him from the corner of your eyes, soon realizing what he was doing, "But I'm okay, I swear! You don't need to..."
He wrapped his coat around your form, his eyes staring into yours as he did. Your cheeks flushed once more at his actions, "Thank you but what about you?"
"I'm fine, don't worry about me," He let out a soft smile when he saw the difference in your size, "I think it looks better on you."
You coughed, eyes looking away from his stare. You could hear him chuckle, causing you to peek at him from the corner of your eyes. You found yourself looking at his smile, seeing that it was the kind of smile that could light up a room. You allowed yourself to be swayed by it, your stomach bubbling with happiness. He noticed your gaze on him, "I forgot to ask earlier but may I have your name?"
You blinked your eyes slowly, "My name?"
He scratched the back of his neck sheepishly, "I didn't quite catch it."
"You placed your coat on me despite not knowing my name?"
"Is that a bad thing?" A hint of red spreading across his cheeks. You stared at him for a few seconds before letting out a small laugh. Seungcheol could only gaze at you confusedly, causing you to wave your hands as a gesture that it was nothing. You held out your hand, a grin plastered on your mouth. "I'm (Y/n). (L/n)(Y/n)."
He glanced at your hands before smiling, wrapping his hands onto yours. "Seungcheol. Choi Seungcheol."
The two of you stayed like that for a few seconds, not finding it in yourselves to let go. His eyes never broke contact with yours, a soft expression gracing his features. He opened his mouth to say something, "Do you, maybe, want to spend the rest of the evening with me, Princess (Y/n)?"
You chuckled softly, slightly nodding as you gently removed his hold from yours. "I'd love to."

The students' noise rang through your ears as you walked through the familiar hallways, hoping to get to your next class in time.
"Hey (Y/n)," You felt his arm latch itself over your shoulders, a gesture you were used to. You turned to see Minho by your side, the same cheeky smile plastered on his lips. You felt the familiar butterflies visit your insides once more, a feeling of giddiness flowing through your veins. You gave him a smile as you carefully removed his hand, "Hey Minho."
He chuckled at your action, already knowing that you were not one for skinship. He settled for placing his hands on his pockets as he walked beside you. He subtly shielded you from the bustling crowd, making sure that no person bumped into you. You smiled at the subtle gesture, greatly appreciating his effort.
It wasn't long before the two of you reached the designated classroom, sitting beside one another like what you were used to. You took out the assignment for this class before glancing at Minho, looking to see if he was doing the same. When you realized he wasn't, you tapped his shoulder, making him look at you. You still weren't used to his stares, doing your best to hide the subtle redness on your cheeks.
You cleared your throat before speaking, "Did you do the assignment for this class?"
He blinked his eyes slowly, confusion clearly written all over his face. "Wait, what?"
"There's an assignment due today, didn't you remember?"
When the realization seeped into his mind, you saw how his expression contorted into that emotion. "Oh shoot." He facepalmed as he dug into his bag, looking for any extra paper that he had. You let out a sigh before giving him your copy, lightly scolding him for his forgetfulness "Here you go, make sure to do it next time!"
He took it from your hand before staring into your eyes, a grin placed on his lips. "Thank you (Y/n)!" He ruffled your hair, your hands slapping his as you playfully glared at him. He only laughed before moving to copy yours, glancing at you one last time. "You're a lifesaver!"

"You know, you could always tell him." You heard Chan said from beside you, causing you to break out of your staring. You gave him a meek smile, shaking your head in disagreement. "I don't want to be like the girls who fawn over him. I just want to admire him, you know?" You let out a melancholic smile, "Plus, he only sees me as a friend."
Chan glanced at you before looking at Minho, watching as his friend stared at a certain person. His eyebrows furrowed when he realized something, eyes looking back at you. "Well, there are other people who like you. I know one who does."
"Really? I feel sad for them."
"Why is that?"
"Because I don't know how to reciprocate their feelings." You looked down, your smile faltering for a second. "After all, my heart yearns only for him."
You felt a hand on your back, making you gaze at its owner, "Minho's gonna like you back, I know it. He'd be an idiot not to."
You could only chuckle before looking in front, listening to whatever the teacher had to say. Your eyes find themselves wandering back to him, mind thinking about what Chan said. You let out a sigh, turning to your notes. 'Then, I guess he's an idiot.'
¸¸♬·¯·♩¸¸♪·¯·♫¸¸¸♬·¯·♩¸¸♪·¯·♫¸¸ Why would you ever kiss me? I'm not even half as pretty You gave her your sweater, it's just polyester But you like her better Wish I were Heather ¸¸♬·¯·♩¸¸♪·¯·♫¸¸¸♬·¯·♩¸¸♪·¯·♫¸¸
"I'm sorry, (Y/n). I can't go today." You watched as he looked away, guilty of not being able to do your monthly tradition. While you couldn't deny the disappointment you felt in your chest, you knew that it was bound to happen. You two were growing up so it was normal for you two to have a different set of activities. You let out a tender smile, reassuring him that it was okay. "Make sure you make it up to me!"
He nodded as he ruffled your hair, laughing at the messy state he left it in. He then glanced outside, seeing the snow fall from the sky. He removed his jacket from his form before wrapping it on yours. "What are you..."
"It's pretty cold outside so keep my jacket for now." He ruffled your hair once more and you grew annoyed. You removed his hand from your head as you crossed your arms. "I worked hard on that, you know?"
"You did? There isn't anything different about it though?"
"Ya Lee Minho!" He laughed loudly as you hit him, offended by his comment. You crossed your arms once more as he tried to fix your hair. You sighed before removing his hands, "Leave it alone, I'll fix it later. Plus," You looked at your watch, seeing that it was already quite late. "Don't you have somewhere to be?"
He looked at his phone, his eyes widening in realization. "Ah! You're right." He took his bag before running out of the classroom, giving you one last wave, "Make sure to give me back my jacket, okay?"
You waved back, watching as he disappeared from your view. Once you were sure he was gone, you wore the jacket properly, nose catching a whiff of his scent. 'He hasn't changed' Your heart did a backflip as you remembered the scene earlier, his caring nature making you fall for him once more. You couldn't help but hope, hope that he felt the same way but a part of you doubted that he did. After all, who were you compared to him?
¸¸♬·¯·♩¸¸♪·¯·♫¸¸¸♬·¯·♩¸¸♪·¯·♫¸¸ Watch as she stands with her, holding your hand Put your arm 'round her shoulder, now I'm getting colder But how could I hate her, she's such an angel But then again, kinda wish she were dead as she ¸¸♬·¯·♩¸¸♪·¯·♫¸¸¸♬·¯·♩¸¸♪·¯·♫¸¸
You wondered when it had all changed, when it had all started. You were sure that you were the one by his side, someone who had been there for him through thick and thin. Were you the one who lacked something? Were your affections not enough? Were your obvious advances nothing more than a friendly gesture to him? You were sure that you had shown your feelings clearly.
So why was he looking at her the way you looked at him?
You saw the way he smiled at her, the way his eyes twinkled when he looked at her. The way his hands would 'accidentally' brush against hers. You watched painfully as you saw him laugh at something she said.
His eyes wandered as he saw you, gesturing you to sit beside them. You smiled bitterly before walking towards them, taking the seat across the two of them. Your eyes glanced at the arm placed across her shoulders, along with the loving eyes that were directed towards her. He was the type to rarely show their emotions so why was he doing this now?
Was he doing this to annoy you? To rub the fact that he didn't love you?
No, he didn't know what you had felt so you were partly to blame. Why didn't you tell him? You looked down as you fidgeted with your skirt, lips pursed as you tried to stop the thoughts that ran in your head. You didn't even notice him calling you until he waved his hand in front of your face. You looked up to see his worried expression, "You okay?"
You let out a small smile before nodding, "I'm fine! Don't worry about me." You looked at the girl, gesturing him to introduce her. He let out the biggest grin you'd ever seen him do, making your heart ache more.
"This is Margarette." You watched as he turned her way before holding her hand, the said girl giggling at the sudden contact. He returned his attention towards you, showing you their hands. "My girlfriend."
Your smile faltered for a second as you tried your best to block out the pain that you felt. So, you smiled, holding both of their hands with a smile so bright that even you would be fooled. "Congratulations! I'm so happy for you Minho!"
You looked at the girl before nodding at her, "Please have patience with him. He's a huge troublemaker so make sure to keep him out of trouble."
"Ya!"
Margarette giggled before nodding, "I will!"
You gave one last smile before watching the two of them, the couple seeming to have their own world. Your smile disappeared as you looked down once more, unable to look at them any longer. You wanted to get out of there but you didn't know how to without making it awkward. You looked up and glanced at your surroundings, looking for someone, anyone that could help you.
And then, you saw him. The only person who knew of your admiration. You sent him a text, asking him to go in your direction. You saw how he looked around before finally waving at you before approaching your table. He greeted Minho and the girl, eyes staying on Margarette before diverting his attention towards you. "Hey (Y/n)! What's up?"
"Nothing much Chan. Are we still up for that project?"
"What project do you--" He saw how you glanced at the people in front of you before nodding, "Ah, yeah! The one that's due next week?"
"Yep! The one Mr. Kim gave us." You gave the couple an apologetic smile, taking your bag as you stood up. "Hey Minho, sorry to cut this short. See you tomorrow?"
"Huh? Oh. Yeah, see you tomorrow."
With that, the two of you left, unaware of the lingering stare that Minho had on you.

You wiped your tears as you cried, emotions pouring out of your heart. It was embarrassing to do this in front of Chan but with your limited number of friends, you didn't know who else to turn to. You sniffled as the man in front of you handed a handkerchief, gesturing you to use it. You looked at him before shaking your head.
"I couldn't possibly, Chan."
He laughed before wiping your nose with it, "Blow."
You took it from him, a playful glare present before turning around and blowing your nose. You returned your attention towards him, "I'm sorry, I'll give you another handkerchief."
He shook his head, a small smile present on his face. "You don't have to worry about that. It's just a handkerchief."
You let out a small smile, grateful that you have a friend like him. "I'm sorry you had to listen to my rambles, Chan. It's just... I don't know who else to turn to." You felt your tears flow from your cheeks once more, "I thought that he'd notice, you know? I wasn't exactly subtle about it. I thought that he'd at least return it someday but... It seems I was wrong." Your voice broke slowly as you looked down, unable to show Chan this side of you. "Am I not enough?"
Before Chan could answer it, however, your phone vibrated, the screen showing that Minho's text.
Class is about to start, where are you?
You wiped the tears in your eyes before opening your phone, sending back a short text before giving Chan an apologetic look. "I'm sorry but I have to go. I have a class with Mr. Lee. and I..."
He patted your shoulders as he smiled, silently reassuring you that it was okay. You gave him a thankful nod before standing up, "I'll return your handkerchief soon and I'll make sure to treat you someday. Thank you so much, Chan!" You bowed before running towards the bathroom, wanting to freshen up before heading to class.
You missed the way Chan stared at your form, a wistful smile present on his lips. He sighed before standing up, scratching the back of his head. A whisper left his lips, "You're perfect to me though."

A few days passed since then and currently, you were in the innermost part of the campus library. It was lunchtime but you didn't have any desire to eat so you figured that it was better to fill up your brain rather than your stomach. You tried your best to focus but all you could think of was him.
You mentally cursed yourself as you held your hand, trying your best to block out any thoughts of him. You wanted to forget him, you really do but why was it so hard to do so? You sighed as you closed your book, realizing that you wouldn't be getting any information in your state. You grabbed your backpack as you stood up, walking towards your next class.
You walked sluggishly, finding it hard to go to your next class since he was there as well. You grew nervous the closer you got to the classroom. You hoped that he didn't attend this class, already knowing that all that avoiding would go to waste the moment you talk to him. You sighed, soon reaching the classroom. You peeked inside of it, looking for a certain someone. When you saw he wasn't there, you let out a sigh of relief.
However, an arm placed itself over your shoulder, your heart beating rapidly at the contact. You slowly turned towards its owner and saw the one man you wanted to avoid the most. Minho smiled at you, seeming as if nothing had happened. You let out an awkward smile, removing his hold from you before walking towards your seat.
You felt him sit beside you, glancing at him to see he was staring at you. "It feels as if I haven't seen you in a while, (Y/n)."
"I'm just a bit busy, that's all."
"You sure? I'm pretty sure we have the same lunch but I definitely didn't see you." He let out a hum, eyes squinting as he stared at you. "Did you even eat lunch?" You nodded, grabbing your notebook in your bag to avoid his staring
As if the world hated you, your stomach growled, your cheeks heating up due to this. You heard his laugh, something that you had missed dearly. "That sure sounds like you ate lunch." He took his wallet from the bag before smiling at you, "Wait here."
"But--" You watched as he ran out of the classroom, already knowing what he was going to do. You sighed as you stared at him longingly, the butterflies returning once more. Your hand clutched your chest, already knowing that all your effort to avoid him had gone to waste. "Why do you care about me so much?"
¸¸♬·¯·♩¸¸♪·¯·♫¸¸¸♬·¯·♩¸¸♪·¯·♫¸¸ Oh, I wish I were Heather Oh, oh, wish I were Heather ¸¸♬·¯·♩¸¸♪·¯·♫¸¸¸♬·¯·♩¸¸♪·¯·♫¸¸
Margarette pushed you harshly as you landed on the floor, your bottom hurting upon impact. You looked up at her, only to be greeted by a harsh glare. You were confused as to why she did that, already knowing that you did nothing wrong to her. "Was it fun to hang around Minho while I wasn't by his side?"
You stood up, dusting off your pants before grabbing your bag, giving her one last glare before walking away. "I'm not done with you!" She held your hair, roughly pulling it to make you face her. You removed her hold from it, your scalp hurting from the force she used. You glaring at her, anger bubbling up inside of you, "What's your problem?! I never did anything to you!"
"YOU'RE TRYING TO TAKE MY BOYFRIEND, YOU SLUT!"
You slapped her, her cheeks soon turning red from the impact. She turned to you, a look of disbelief written on her face. "You... You..."
"I... what?" She stood up straight before readying herself to slap back. You caught her hand before she could do so, grip tight because of your anger. You were about to say something but a voice stopped you from doing so.
"What are you doing?!" You turned towards its source, eyes widening when you saw him. He approached the two of you, his hand harshly removing your grip from hers. You watched as he inspected her, eyes glancing at her form from top to bottom before seeing her red cheek. He then turned to you, eyes void of any emotions.
"Minho, I--"
"What did you do?"
"I slapped her but she---"
"I thought you were better than this, (Y/n)." You could hear your heart shatter at his words, your tears already building up in your eyes. You glanced around to see the crowd staring at the three of you. You clenched your fist as you looked down, unable to take any more humiliation. You wanted to leave, to get this over with.
You sighed before mumbling, "It might look wrong but--" You were cut off by a jacket being placed on you, the hoodie covering your head, as well as a handkerchief handed out in front of you. You glanced at the owner to see Chan, his expression unreadable.
"Don't explain yourself, I know it wasn't your fault." He whispered, making sure that only you heard it. You took the handkerchief from him as he placed his hands on your shoulder, supporting you so that the two of you could leave. Minho approached you once more to try and hold your arm but Chan stopped him from doing so, "You've done enough Minho. Let her go."

"Why did you fight with her?"
You looked at him in disbelief, already knowing what's going to happen. "You came here to ask me that?"
"Why did you fight with her, (Y/n)?"
"I didn't! You know I don't fight with..." You stopped yourself from talking, your eyes not believing what you were seeing. You were not used to the way he looked at you, eyes that were usually soft when it came to you now held a hard glare. You saw how he was stopping himself from getting too angry, trying his best not to release his anger towards you. You could only purse your lips, hands clenching at the harsh feeling against your chest. You looked down, unable to look him in the eyes further. You felt his hands grab both your shoulders, forcing you to look at him, "Why (Y/n)?"
You hastily remove his grip, a sarcastic laugh letting itself out at his accusation. "Minho, do you really think that I fight with anyone because I want to?"
"It's Margarette we're talking about here so I know you're--" He stopped midsentence when he saw the painful look you had in your eyes, hurt evident in your expression. You looked down once you felt tears start to fill up your eyes, not wanting him to see your moment of vulnerability.
"I really thought you wanted to check on me, like what a friend should be doing." You hastily removed his jacket from your body before dumping it in his arms. You took a deep breath, gathering up every single bit of your courage, hoping to get this feeling off your chest. You then proceeded to look into his eyes, "Minho, I like you."
His expression changed from one of anger to shock and disbelief. He was about to say something but you stopped him from doing so, "Before you say something, let me explain myself. I like you, Minho. I liked you more than how a friend should like you. Hell, you could even say I love you but I didn't confess since I value our friendship more than these petty feelings I have for you." You fiddled with the hem of your shirt, anxious about what you were doing but you didn't stop, "I watched you love her the same way I did and I wish nothing but happiness for you. There were times where I wanted to object since I knew how she was but when I saw the happiness she gave you, I gave up."
You saw as he looked away, allowing your heart to welcome more pain. "I'm sorry (Y/n). I don't..." You shook your head to stop him from talking, giving him your usual smile, albeit a little fake.
"I know Minho." You looked away, unable to look at him straight in the eyes. You held back your tears, emotions in a disarray, "I know."
Beautiful (SVT Xu Minghao/The8)
Your fingers traced the markings on your arms, heart feeling nervous as you continued to glance at it. You wondered when you'll be able to meet them or if you will meet them. There were times where you doubt that there was someone made for you, someone out there who'd understand even the deepest part of you while the other times, you were hopeful. Once again, you glanced at the words found in your arms, heart fluttering at their meaning.
'Not as beautiful as you.'
You let out a smile, hoping that whoever will say this to you would mean it. There were times where you think it might be flattery, or maybe even empty words but you clung to the hope that it wasn't, that they truly meant it.
You heard the chiming of the bell, causing you to divert your attention to the customer. You saw the familiar manager of the art museum near you, allowing your lips to curve into a smile. "(Y/n)~ My darling!"
"Mrs. Kim! What can I do for you today?"
"Obviously, I need flowers!" She rolled her eyes playfully as you giggled, standing up to walk beside her. You watched as she inspected every inch of your store, looking for the perfect set.
"What's the theme for the exhibition, Mrs. Kim?"
"It's a collection made by an aspiring young painter, quite the prodigy too." She gave you a wink as she took out a piece of yellow daffodil, causing you to smile warmly. She handed it to you, smiling as she stared at you with her puppy eyes.
"Be a dear and find me something that fits those, will you?"
You gave her a nod, "When do you need it, Mrs. Kim?"
"Tomorrow afternoon at 1, if that's okay with you? I need a bunch of them, enough to fill up the museum." She followed you as you walked to the counter, handing you her card to pay. "Don't worry about the extra hands, I'll send my people here tomorrow." She winked as you chuckled, processing her payment as the two of you chatted.
You handed her back the card as she slipped it back in her wallet, giving you one last wave before leaving. You looked at the yellow daffodil before looking around, arms on your waist as you thought.
'Now, where do I start?'

You walked through the halls of the art museum, hands filled with the flowers that were ordered. You followed the museum helpers, unsure where to place these despite almost always being here. Mrs. Kim was very spontaneous, changing the layout every time there was something new to show.
Your eyes glanced around as you admired the place, the beauty of it causing happiness to bubble within you. You had always found yourself admiring different pieces of art, often visiting this place due to this. You enjoyed how they didn't need the words to tell their story.
Soon, you found yourself in the exhibit. You saw how Mrs. Kim instructed her people on what to do, relentless in making things perfect. You slowly approached her, the lady soon realizing that you were there. Once she saw you, her scowl turned into a smile, her bubbly personality returning.
"My darling! I'm glad you're here!"
You let out a laugh as she took the flowers from you, giving them a smell once they were in her hands before giving them to her staff. She directed her attention towards you as she patted your back.
"I love your arrangement, as always!"
"Thank you so much." She guided you within the exhibit, showing you the work of the artist. She chatted to you about how she was the one that reached out when she saw his paintings and how she knew that they were a talent. You listened to her ramblings as the two of you walked, eyes wandering around to look at the works of art.
"This artist, his name is Xu Minghao by the way, is one of a kind. I just know this artist is going to become big some---"
"Mrs. Kim! What are we going to do with these?" The two of you looked to see one of her staff calling out to her. She looked back at you, an apologetic look on her face. "While I'd love to show you around, my dear, it seems that I am needed elsewhere."
You offered her a smile, "Don't worry about it, Mrs. Kim."
"Don't be afraid to look around, darling!"
With that, you were alone. You walked around the exhibition, looking around to see what the artist had to present. You couldn't help but feel the artist's emotion the more you walked around, a feeling of admiration filling up your heart. However, you found yourself stopping at a certain painting. Wondering what it was about, you glanced at the name. You saw that it had none, just the name of the painter.
Your eyes wandered back to the painting, analyzing every detail of it. You couldn't help but stare at the painting found in front of you. Never in your life have you been touched by a painting. The emotions that were present in it reached out to you, as if calling out to you. Your hand found its way on the top of your chest, clutching at where your heart is.
You felt someone walk beside you, causing you to glance to your side. Your heart fluttered when you saw how good-looking he was, cheeks heating up as you allowed your eyes to wander back to the painting. You placed a finger under your chin, elbow resting on your other arm as you cleared your throat before speaking, "It's a beautiful painting, isn't it?" You peeked at him from the corner of your eye, curious to see if he'd say anything about your comment. You saw how he stared at you wide-eyed, a reaction you didn't quite expect. Did you overstep your boundaries?
You slowly grew anxious as the seconds passed, his silence bringing an icky feeling in your stomach. Unable to face the embarrassment, you gave him a meek smile before bowing and walking away. Before you could take leave, however, a hand wrapped itself on your wrist. You turned to look at its owner, his shock replaced with a soft smile.
"Not as beautiful as you." He muttered out, a faint blush present on his cheeks. Your breath hitched as your heart pounded, your mind processing what was happening in front of you. A sudden surge of contentment hit you the moment he said those words, the feeling of wholeness filling you up. You stared at him and wondered if he felt it too.
"May I...?" You whispered breathlessly as the man in front of you nodded. He removed his grip from you before slowly lifting up the sleeve of his shirt. You read the writing on his skin, hands reaching out to traced the markings. You looked up at him as you smiled, tears slowly filling up your eyes.
You saw his eyes filled with worry, your hands wiping the tears that threatened to fall. "Are you okay?"
You nodded before softly laughing, a bubbly feeling rising up from your stomach. Once again, you stared into his eyes, finding yourself mesmerized by his gaze. "I'm (Y/n). (L/n)(Y/n)."
"Xu Minghao."
Your eyes widened at the information, cheeks heating up slowly. "The painter of this exhibit?"
You saw how he nodded sheepishly, hands scratching the back of his neck as he adjusted the glasses he wore. You brought your hands to your mouth in admiration, looking around once more to glance at his works.
"You're amazing..." You blurted out suddenly. He let out a chuckle as he glanced around, a proud smile present on his lips. "Thank you."
There was silence between the two of you, a comfortable silence that the two of you didn't mind having. You looked at the painting, admiring the beauty of it. Your mind wandered to the markings on your arm, hands fiddling it. "Did you mean it?" You peeked at him from the corner of your eyes and you could see how his expression turned into confusion. Slowly, he realized what you meant as he held both of your hands, his thumbs drawing circles at the back of it.
"I do."
Rarity (SVT Wonwoo)
The winter breeze whisked past your face, allowing a shiver to run down your spine. The night had always been your friend, seeing that it has always been your favorite part of the day. It allowed you a moment of serenity, as well as the time to think to yourself. The stars were twinkling brightly on the night sky, seeming as if they were talking to you. A smile crept up your face as you allowed yourself to bask in the coldness of the night.
You were just walking back from the convenience store, picking up a few things that were needed for the night. You made sure that you had everything you needed so that you wouldn't have to go back again. While you enjoyed the comfort that the night gives you, it wasn't safe for a girl like you to walk alone. You tugged on your scarf, trying your best to fix it to warm you better.
It wasn't long before you reach the door to your apartment, enjoying the warmth that it gave you after being out for a while. You heard the familiar meowing of your cat, approaching you as if to welcome you back. You gave it a quick stroke on its chin before heading to the kitchen to place the things you've brought. You hummed a song as you did, a smile gracing your lips as you waited for the company you were anticipating.
You couldn't help but feel giddy at the thought of him visiting your place, seeing as it had been a while since the two of you had seen each other. You felt your phone vibrate, allowing you to take it from your pocket and open it, showing your wallpaper consisting of him. You smiled before reading the text,
I'm outside.
The smile never left your lips as you head to the door, unlocking it to see him behind it. You grinned as you gestured him to head inside, as to which he did. Once he was inside, you closed the door behind you as you followed him closely to your living room. Seeming to notice that you were behind him, he turned around and opened his arms. gesturing you for a hug. You walked towards him as you wrapped your arms around his torso, Wonwoo following after.
"I missed you." You muttered, the smell of his cologne visiting your senses. You heard him chuckle, "I missed you too."
You slowly removed yourself from his grasp, helping him remove his coat, "Stay there for a bit," You then proceeded to walk towards the kitchen, where the stuff you bought was placed. You looked inside the plastic bag before getting the item you needed. You walked back towards him, a curious look present on his features.
"Here, you must be cold." You removed the hot packs from their packaging, before placing them in his hands. As you did so, you peeked at his expression, seeing a soft smile grace his lips. At this, your heart warmed, happy to see his rare smile. You felt his hands wrap themselves on your torso, moving to pull you closer, before feeling his lips kiss the top of your head.
"Thank you for this, (Y/n)." You felt your heart beat loudly, stomach already releasing its butterflies. Even though it has been a while since the two of you last saw each other, you couldn't deny the fact that the two of you loved each other dearly. You smiled as you buried yourself in his arms, allowing this moment to last for a bit.
─── ・ 。゚☆: *.☽ .* :☆゚. ───
"You cooked all of this?" He had asked, eyes wide in amazement. You look at him in fake hurt, "Of course! I'm hurt that you'd doubt me. I do know how to cook after all." You gave him a cheeky smile as you placed a piece of meat on top of his rice. He glanced at you before taking it and eating it.
"You know, I should be the one doing these things."
"I know but after all your work, I figured that you should be pampered. I'm really proud of you and your group, you guys were great." You showed him a thumbs up, a grin present on your lips as he stared at you before looking down. You saw how he tried to hide a smile causing you to chuckle as you ate in silence, the serenity between the two of you greatly appreciated after a long day.
As the two of you ate, you couldn't help but stare at him, eyes still not believing that he was in front of you. The last month had been hectic for him, seeing as he had so many scheduled works. Sure, you knew that it was part of his job but it made you feel lonely at times. However, he made sure to check on you from time to time, making sure that you ate well, that you got home safe and there were even times that he would call you. It was the the little things that you appreciated from him.
He never made you felt unloved.
You felt a smile creep up on your lips before taking a bite of your food, happy that the two of you were together.
A few minutes later, the two of you had finished eating. Currently, the two of you were holding a single plate, playfully arguing on who would clean up and do the dishes, "Wonwoo, let me clean up."
"You already did everything else, let me do this at least."
The two of you stared into each other's eyes, trying your best not to smile under his gaze. Alas, it was all for naught. You soon giggled before relenting, Wonwoo soon following with his own chuckle.
"Fine but let's do the dishes together."
With a nod, you watched him clean up, talking as he worked. "So, how was the comeback?"
He shrugged as he washed the dishes, "It was really fun but it was a lot more tiring than the other comebacks we've had." He handed you the plates to dry, peeking at you from the corner of his eyes, "Did you listen to it?"
You nodded enthusiastically, "Of course I did! I really loved listening to it in the mornings. I loved that part where..."
You continued to ramble on about how much you loved the song, occasionally wiping of the dishes and placing them in their respective places. Wonwoo merely listened to your every thought, muttering out a few replies from time to time. You removed the rubber gloves from your hands, Wonwoo soon turning off the water. Noticing you had been talking for so long, you proceeded to stop, glancing at him with a sheepish look.
"I'm rambling again, I'm really sorry."
Wonwoo turned to you, head shaking in disagreement. "It's okay, I don't mind. I really like it when you talk to me about your favorites."
"Are you sure?"
He held your hands before bringing it up to his face and placing a kiss on the back of it. "I promise." You felt your cheeks heat up at the sight of it, not used to the sudden affection.
"Wonwoo!" You took your hand from his, fanning your face to try and lessen the heat that it felt. He chuckled at your expression, obviously amused. You walked past him to hide the shyness you felt. You swore that this man was going to be the death of you.
─── ・ 。゚☆: *.☽ .* :☆゚. ───
The sound of the keyboard clacking filled up your ears, your back pressed against his chest as you watched him play. The two of you had been in this position for a while, feeling comfortable that he was around you. You could hear his breaths, as well as the silent curses he let out whenever he died.
"Behind you Wonwoo!" You muttered out, warning him about the enemy that he didn't see. You heard him curse as he tried his best to evade the attacks but to no avail, he had already been hit a few times before and was unable to heal in time. You chuckled at his annoyed huff, seeing the familiar 'Better luck next time' show itself on the screen, as well as his ranking. You looked up, your hand finding its way into his head, slowly caressing it teasingly.
"There, There."
He snaked his arms into your torso, head on your shoulder as he tried to calm himself. "So close." You chuckled once more before setting up for a new game, it was your turn to play after all. If you were to be honest, you had invested a lot of your time into this game so you were somewhat familiar with it.
You saw the familiar waiting area, seeing all players hit one another. It was a common occurrence in the game so it was nothing new. "Good luck," You smirked at his sudden whisper, "Don't need it."
The game had started and you immediately landed in your area, running towards the houses to get the equipment you need. You saw how there was another person in your area, shooting them as accurately as you can. You smiled when you had killed them, running towards them to get their loot.
Wonwoo watched you as you played, looking at your surroundings to tell you if there was anyone beside you. After a few minutes of you playing, he realized that you didn't need his help, seeing as you were pretty capable at this game. So, he did the usual, he stared at you. He noticed how your brows furrowed when you were in a particularly hard situation, how your tongue stuck out from time to time when you concentrated. He smiled as he focused on your expression. He didn't even notice that you won until you jumped up from the chair, causing him to get hit harshly by your shoulder.
You, noticing this, immediately held both sides of his face as you inspected it. "Oh my god, I'm so sorry!"
"No sorry is going to fix this." He looked down, causing fear to spread on your stomach at his sudden coldness. 'Oh no.' You looked at him anxiously, wondering if the two of you were going to argue. A few seconds after, he glanced at you, a rare cheeky smile on his lips. You could only pout as you hit him playfully, arms crossing themselves before chuckling as you held his face once more.
You looked at every single part of his face, only to see that he was staring at you lovingly, making you seem like the most important being on the planet. You leaned in as you gave him a small peck on the lips, a smile soon gracing your lips.
"I love you, Wonwoo."
You saw how his expression softened as his eyes closed, slowly leaning towards you. You followed his movements as you met him halfway, feeling his soft lips land on yours. You felt him pull you closer, gesturing you to sit on his lap, as to which you did. You felt his hands snake themselves around your waist as he tried to pull you closer than you were. Your arms now found themselves on his shoulders, your heart beating loudly against your chest. You had missed this, the physical contact between the two of you. You missed how he would fully show you he loved you with his affection and it was enough to make you feel fuzzy and lightheaded.
The lack of air caused the two of you to separate, your eyes staring into his as he looked at you with such love, something that you had only experienced with him. You nuzzled your head into his shoulder, a smile gracing your lips as you heard his whisper.
"I love you more than anything in this world, (Y/n)."
