Like, imagine if the target audience for Power Washing Simulator was actual professional power washers.
Farming Sim gets sponsored by companies and shit to put ads in their games. But since the game is for farmers, all of the ads target farmers. Advertising products that, realistically, only farmers would be interested in. Aka John Deere tractors and shit.

My buddy who is a farmer has the type of planter that drives itself across the field using GPS at a steady speed, and he just needs to turn it around at the end of each row. He added a little folding desk to his chair and plays farming simulator on it while he plants.

He put her in a situation in which she had to either: sell her car (so the only means of transportation is now in his name), or maybe even to drop out (to have time for the second job) if she wants to feed the kids. He did it right when she was aaaaaalmost done with her degree. Either way, it's sabotage.
Sometimes when an action makes NO sense to us ("he's like a stupid alien"), it's bc we are not understanding its true motivation/purpouse. If his goal was control, financial pressure and limiting her options due to lack of funds, it makes perfect sensie to buy the truck.

Being able to draw older people as attractive without reducing or erasing the visual signs of aging, and in fact showing that they're attractive because of those signs, is an artistic skill that should be valued so much more. Honestly, it should earn you an immediate fortune because holy fuck is it a rare commodity. There are so many artists who seem to think attractiveness and aging exist in opposition to each other, so they smooth every wrinkle, erase every crease, and de-age the character until they're basically thirty with silver hair. But when an artist can look at crow's feet, smile lines, weathered skin, deep-set wrinkles, and all the little traces of a life well lived and say, "No, that's what makes them beautiful," that's a level of artistic observation and care I wish we celebrated more often.

Don't twist it into something malicious. I reported Noor's blog and the twenty other spam asks I got that week for spam and nothing else. Whether she's real or not I can't verify (I don't trust gazavetters, because that blog is neither credible nor transparent, so being 'vetted' means nothing to me), but the only reason I even remember why I blocked Noor's blog is because I got four slightly differently worded anon asks all linking back to her blog overnight. That IS spam and my heart goes out to the handful of real people who are trying to raise funds among the million and one bots and scams, but acting just like them is not the way to go.
I have very limited funds and donate to WCK whenever I have some to spare. That way I know my money won't end up in the pocket of a scammer, but I don't and never will trust any random blog that is indistinguishable from a bot trying to guilt money out of people with stolen photos and spam.
I'm not twisting it into something malicious. I'm telling you your intentions can be good and still end up causing harm. You reported them for just spam and nothing else, but even just that can get them terminated (especially when your report is added onto a pile of people's reports that *are* coming from a malicious place) and when this is their whole lifeline, it is a pretty big deal of harm caused to them.
I'm not asking you to donate or to trust "random blog that is indistinguishable from a bot" even though it is verified by on-site Gazans who check the legal documents of the beneficiaries before adding them to their vetted spreadsheet. Again, that is your prerogative, and if I can't convince you of their authenticity then I can't convince you of their authenticity and that's that.
But it's not like your only two options are "trust implicitly and hand over your money" or "report the blog". You can also ignore and block and move on with your life. But when you report you have to be 100% certain it's a bot or a scam, and not just going on a hunch.
To be honest I'm pretty baffled by people whose stance is "yes that may be a real Gazan but they're still breaking the ToS and being annoying about it", like I've accepted that some people are dead-set on believing these aren't real people and are bots instead and there's not much I can do to change their minds, but what boggles my mind is people who accept that they may be real but still object to the spam.

The actor and musician faces allegations from 10 women in total who say he mistreated them as teenagers.
Four women have accused Oscar-winning actor and Thirty Seconds to Mars frontman Jared Leto of criminal sexual conduct, with the alleged offences having taken place when they were teenagers.
In total, 10 women have spoken to the BBC documentary - Jared Leto: Hollywood's Dark Secret - with nine of them sharing their stories publicly for the first time.
All the women say they encountered Leto between 2002 and 2016, when he was in his 30s and 40s. He is now 54.
"This was 25 years ago… he has gotten away with it," says one of his alleged victims.
The BBC has corroborated a number of the women's accounts with friends and family who were told about the encounters with Leto at the time. In some cases, we have also seen pictures and messages that support the women's accounts.

In case you weren't aware, the goal of a boycott is to significantly impact the bottom line of a business to pressure it into stopping some specific harmful behavior.
This means that a disorganized "don't support this" with no clear timeframe, no clear demand being put forward, and no organized effort to reach the actual customers of the business... is pretty unlikely to achieve anything.
"Boycotts never achieve anything" factoid is actually a statistical error. Historically, boycotts have been an enormously successful pressure mechanism for collective action. Boycotts georg, a social media user who launches a million poorly strategized boycotts every day with no thought given to target selection or actionable demands, is an outlier adn should not have been counted.

saying something or engaging in behavior that implies that you're being hostile, dangerous, malicious, cruel, etc. and others are vulnerable, misunderstood, nice, etc.
