(they/she) I am apparently on here just to post about new episodes of my podcasts. I'm a very big fan of many, many things, but generally, if it's for the neurodivergents or the queers, I'm familiar with it! I also post art on Instagram :)

Hello! I'm Phoenix (IRLs can use my real name in private conversations), and I got a Tumblr for myself as a birthday present. Under the cut, you can find a great deal about me and my interests, if you are so inclined!
As a general rule, I mostly only properly tag for spoilers (90% of my tags are me yapping), but anything with "phoenix original" is an original post made without reblogging someone else, "phoenix art" is my art, and "phoenix asks" are for me answering asks. Pretty simple, just for me to find it more easily later!
I am big into podcasts, so yes, The Magnus Archives/Protocol and Malevolent! In addition, I am in love with The Strange Case of Starship Iris and Life With LEO(h) (I am so insane about them). I've also finished The Bright Sessions (which dealt SIGNIFICANT emotional damage), The Penumbra Podcast (well. Juno Steel), Badlands Cola, and Deviser, all of which have altered me irreparably.
I've also listened to a fair bit of Archive 81, WTNV (I'm somewhere around ep 200..?), most of Camp Here & There, a couple seasons of Wolf 359, and a smidge of Stellar Firma. I've currently picked Sherlock & Co. back up and am having the time of my life with it!
I am consistently 2/3 of the way into any Three Main Medias diagram (WhoLock in SuperWhoLock, OurGood in OurGoodShadows), and I think it's part of my charm at this point. My watching projects become ecclectic based on my schedule. Latest top hits include Fosse/Verden (EXCELLENT) and 1995 Pride & Prejudice (a classic and long-time favorite), alongside Slow Horses (really good, and very few people I know have seen it).
I am also a Theater Kid, so I know far too many obscure musicals as well as most mainstream well-known ones. I am (naturally) a Hatchetfield fan, and my friend very easily got me on the Spies Are Forever train as well, but I am not very deep into the Starkid lore as a whole (for now...). Cinderella's Castle was awesome! Recent show I saw live: Hedwig and the Angry Inch (again! I cried, it was so good and so much) and Art (first time! very, very good, kind of a dream show to do with friends).
I do spend a LOT of time listening to music! Top hits: Saint Motel, IDK How, Sparkbird, Fish in a Birdcage, Waitress (the band, not the show). I enjoy musicals, anything with "alt" in front of it, and anything with a banger brass section. Please always feel free to drop me recommendations, I love trying new stuff! Even if it's something outside of my wheelhouse. I've apparently been getting into folk recently. Who knew?
Other neat things! I'm (undiagnosed but pretty confidently) ADHD and aroace. I'm told I'm probably autistic, but I'm trying not to think too hard about that. My gender at this point is mostly trying to look too male to be a lesbian, despite not really being either. My favorite animal is the axolotl. My favorite color is purple. My favorite punctuation mark is the beloved comma, oh, where would I be without you, my dear?
If I think of anything important to add, I'll edit this post, but here's the basics :)
Daily reminder that if you find yourself backed into a corner of "I love this creator but I don't love this one specific thing they're creating" (or something similar) you can block tags you don't like in settings in stead of blocking the whole creator. Don't like the ship? Block the tag. Don't like the fandom? Block the tag. Don't like the sexual content? Block the tag. Don't like rants? Block the tag.
I mean, I understand if they're creating something that you find problematic and you don't want anything of theirs on your page anymore (if that's the case, block. Don't make a public post about it, criticizing the creator unless they're stealing someone else's stuff). But if that's not the case, block the tag, don't complain, and move on. It'll make everyone happier.
Also please note this post is not passive aggressive or pointed towards anyone in particular, just putting it out there.
not even dressed femininely necessarily. just 1950s high waisted short shorts and looking coyly back at the camera with legs kicked up. he deserves it.
aro culture is being told that you love your friends too much to be "unable to fall in love" and then realizing that it really is that simple. you can love your friends so much that there's no other love to give.
i love being aromantic. yes, those two are my favourite characters. yes, they are best friends. their lives are so intertwined and they are so perfect for each other and they can never be apart for too long. no, I don't ship them. yes, I think they should be dating in canon. no, this isn't confusing at all, why do you ask?
Hi, Catholic here—the only part of the holy trinity with a human body is the Son (Jesus) so yes, but also God the Father doesn’t have a human body so no, but the Father, Son and Holy Spirit are all the same being as well so yes, but all humans including women are created in the image of God so hypothetically He has everything else too. Hope this helps.
The Mystery of the Holy Trinity is the biggest and trickiest mystery in Catholic doctrine: Each of the 3 Persons of the Holy Trinity is wholly and completely God, except God is only one divine entity because we're monotheistic. To me, the main differences between the three are in how they do their work rather than what work they do (because they're all the same person, if not the same Person).
Jesus has a penis because his method of work (becoming a human to connect with humanity) requires it. In order to be completely human, he needs a full human body, and he's already completely God (this is another Big Mystery – he's a regular boring human and God at the same time. the regularness is important).
The Father (for lack of a better term – they're genderless) doesn't really go in for physical forms, and thus lacks any sort of human shape or genitals.
The Holy Spirit has been known to be objects, mostly (fire. bush. wind. cloud. light.) so, no genitals, but yes physical form. But it very possibly could (and maybe has already? I don't remember my Old Testament as well as I ought to) inhabit the physical form of something that does have a penis. Or other genitals.
And as has been stated in earlier reblogs, Catholics have a little bit of God inside of them (baptism and Confirmation = Holy Spirit, Holy Communion (the bread and wine bit) = Jesus). So we act as physical vessels for God, who by that extension has every possible configuration of human genitals ever all at once! Neat :)
This is my third year participating, I'm very excited to be joining Team Mystery! My yearly goal is always to revenge every attack I get, so if you're looking for humanoid characters (and/or a guaranteed attack), check out my profile!
I already have an insanely long new bookmarks folder, so I'll be quite busy, but my stretch goal is 20 pieces (my current record is 18). I might start doing smaller/simpler sketch attacks, too, if I get ambitious... we'll see! Happy fighting and good luck!
Does anyons here also have like a compacted zip file version of their gender and sexuality that they tell to most people they don't know well, and then there is the full version of it with microlabels and everything else
Here’s the thing I feel like a lot of folks don’t get: I’m not trying to forget what you said. Honestly, I really tried not to. I can’t control what I do and don’t remember—forgetting things just happens. It’s annoying for you, I know, but for me it’s distressing as hell and when you make a big deal out of it rather than just reminding me you make me feel ashamed. I’ll remember that, at least.
It costs you nothing to be kind to people with memory problems. Please. It’s scary enough without people treating memory lapses as a personal failing.
Mine under the cut (in case anyone does not actually want to know this much about my experience of sexuality, which is fair). I got 3 bingos, though!
I've been using the aegosexual microlabel pretty much as long as I've identified as ace. This bingo is interesting because I don't think most people would get a blackout (there are kind of two main shapes of aego that are well represented here), but it's very easy to get a lot of bingos! I really like this one :)
