Hi! I'm Juniper, also known as the protector and the main host for The Foxgrove system. My prounouns personally are they/he/xe. Our body age is 26, so minors please DNI. we are a system of 22 currently and are fictive heavy rather than factive heavy.
We all collectively have OSDD, Autism Spectrum Disorder Level 2, CPSTD, GAD, BIPOLAR 2, OCD, dyslexia, TOURETTES, and ADHD. We are also physically disabled with EDS, POTS, CFS/ME, Idiopathic Hypersomnia, MCAS, and MS, and we are an ambulatory wheelchair user. I am a mostly full-time AAC user with moderate support needs, so please be mindful of this.Ā
Our special interests are: cocoa (our childhood stuffie) , kuromi, goth subculture, bugs, animals in general, FNAF, fashion, psychology, witchy-related content, Diablo, adventure time, bee and puppy cat, steven universe, literally anything pertaining to horror (i love Jason voorhees), and Minecraft.Ā
i do not want to be involved in most syscourse. if i post about it, then that's one thing, but unless otherwise said, please do not go into my DMs or my asks, and create drama. i do not want to be part of it.

This disability pride month I would like the community to understand that Sometimes wheelchairs arenāt freedom.
Sometimes using a wheelchair means you can no longer get to the places that used to be important to you, and not because of man-made inaccessibility. I have sat with someone as they cried because they could no longer visit the place they had scattered a loved oneās ashes because not even the most expensive wheelchair in the world could handle the terrain. As much as I wanted to, my wheelchair meant that I couldnāt position myself in a way that would allow me to give them a proper hug. In that moment, our wheelchairs felt more like heavy weights than freedom.
And sometimes wheelchairs are like the legs of someone who can walk but would maybe benefit from a wheelchair themselves. Sometimes wheelchairs are exhausting and painful and youāre counting down the time before youāre able to be lifted into bed. Sure, like painful legs, you can do more with them than without, but constantly performing gratitude for something that hurts you is exhausting. And again, not because you need a better wheelchair, but because those are the limits of your body and the technology that exists.
Yes itās important to challenge the idea that wheelchairs are always a tragedy. And yes, there are lots of people who have a positive relationship with their chair. But for a lot of people, including me, the pressure to love your wheelchair and see it as freedom is painful and feels like it erases huge amounts of my experiences with disability.
PLEASE STOP MAKING WITCHCRAFT GRAPHICS WITH AI. YOU HAVE TO STOP. STOP IT NOW. BOOOOO AI. IT IS HORRIBLE FOR THE ENVIRONMENT AND GOES AGAINST EVERYTHING THE CRAFT IS ABOUT. STOP FUCKING USING AI.
if your response to, āI wish there was more sex repulsed asexual representation,ā is to point out not all aces are sex repulsed, maybe first stop and ask yourself why you are doing that. We live in a society thatās constantly telling us we need to have sex and Iām so glad there are aces who arenāt bothered by that, but it doesnāt invalidate those of us that do not want to. This isnāt a competition, I want to see all kinds of aces, being upset with a lack of respect for sex repulsed aces doesnāt mean I think the rep thatās already there for sex favorable aces should be changed. I am capable of wanting both, why arenāt you?
I'm reading a study on how nurses define the term 'drug seeking', and what makes them more likely to put the 'drug-seeker' label on a patient's charts and. well. let me just throw down some quotes
"Needy, unable to cope" (<- you try coping with chronic pain)
"Comfort seeking" (<- you mean.. having a preference for not being in pain.. how criminal)
"Using or trying to obtain drugs on a long-term, chronic
base" (<- do you understand what 'chronic pain' means.)
"Asking for pain med then returning to sleep."
"States heās level 10 pain, but does not appear to be in pain (or ā5= on appearance)." (<- it is well-known that chronic pain patients tend not to display pain in the same way as acute pain patients)
"Dramatic response to pain" (<- notice how this directly contradicts the comment above. you cannot win)
"Gets IV med, then leaves unit to smoke or walk around" (<- wow requiring medication and then going off to do something you needed pain meds to be able to do is so suspicious)
the article itself put it best when it says: āsome comments depict patients trying to apply sound pain management principles, such as continuing to take medication for persistent painā. no wonder all the other literature on the matter says that women of colour are the most likely group to be labelled drug-seeking. this shit is entirely vibes-based (read: based on the prejudices of nurses and doctors)
it sucks that the overwhelming majority of medical messaging around salt/sodium is "evil poisonous substance that you're definitely already eating way too much of," because like. you do still need it. (trust me, as a POTS-haver, I've had to completely rewire my own brain about salt.) and you need more salt when the entire northern hemisphere is hot enough to fry an egg on. ever tried sucking down the recommended 64oz of hydration per day entirely as water, only to find you're peeing constantly without any of the purported benefits of being "hydrated"? assuming you don't have another medical condition that causes frequent urination, your body probably needed more salt/electrolytes to be able to hold onto that water and make use of it. if there was ever a time to keep a sports drink/pedialyte/etc within constant reach, it's when the heat index is 110°F/43°C.
I promise you things will get so much better when you start processing peopleās behavior as information rather than a verdict on your self-worth. If someone doesnāt text back, suddenly pulls away, whatever it may be, the solution isnāt to put on a tap dance for them and try to regain their approval. Itās not to crash out on them and try to force them to react a certain way. Itās just to take a step back, take a deep breath, and assess what this tells you. Whatās this saying about them? Whatās this saying about you??
every time someone realizes they dont have to pick between being a boy or a girl an angel gets its wings btw. and also extremely loud cheering can be heard in the distance from me specifically
Not wanting to have sex is NOT a problem. It doesnāt matter if you are asexual or allo, there is nothing wrong with not wanting sex. Itās just an activity. Thatād be like saying that if you donāt like soccer, you need to go to soccer therapy to figure out why you dislike it and figure out how to like it because itās for your own good. See how ridiculous that sounds? IT IS OK TO NOT WANT TO HAVE SEX AND IT IS NOT SOMETHING THAT NEEDS TO BE FIXED!!!!!!
