welcome to a work-in-progress archive of genderfluid fragment gender system (GFGS) terms (run by @crowdsourcedgender)
a guide to my tagging system & scope can be found here. it is messy and merges multiple categories together; for an actually useable list, try this notion by daybreakthing!
askbox is open for:
relevant term finding (general or specific)
terms i've missed
requests to repost from other sites
questions about definitions or tagging
it is not currently feasible for me to tag eyestrain, as nearly every flag uses pure white & bright colors. I highly recommend you tag anything reblogged from this archive as eyestrain.
if i've reblogged a version of a post and an ID/PT exists for it, please let me know!

hello! would you be interested in making combination flags for gendersunflower + gendertulip and gendersunflower + genderlotus? no worries if not. thank you!
Genderbellflower or Gendersuntulip(left), and Genderzinnia or Gendersunlotus(right)
Bottom row in the format of these flags[link]
A Genderfluid Fragment Gender System microlabel, which involves genderfluidity that’s always at least partially neutral/abinary aligned but can also be partially androgynous or partially aligned with one binary gender. so in the case of genderbellflower for example, it essentially encompasses genders that are exclusively neutral, neutral and masculine, or neutral and androgynous, while excluding genders that are exclusively masculine, exclusively feminine, or neutral and feminine.
Gendersunflower is a Genderfluid Fragment Gender System microlabel, which involves genderfluidity that does not encompass binary-aligned genders, unless the binary experience is mixed with a natural-aligned, agender, abinary, atrinary, and/or exobinary gender.
Gendertulip is a form of genderfluidity that does not encompass women-aligned, fiaspec genders unless it's mixed with a man-aligned, miaspec gender.
Genderlotus is a form of genderfluidity that does not encompass man-aligned, miaspec genders unless it's mixed with woman-aligned, fiaspec gender.
Tidalmasc is a gender with a lot of specific bits and bobs about it. I made it for myself because no other terms seemed to feel right [but anybody else can use it too!]
In summary;
Tidalmasc is a gender which is masculine at it's core while fluctuating between Manhood, nonbinary manhood, masculinity without manhood, soft masculinity, and "otherness"/xeninity.
It may encompass all of these at once at times while at other times only encompassing one or a few.
The only "limit" so to speak is that it is always, at least in some way, connected to masculinity.
It is also at most times in the nonbinary man to soft masculine range with the "otherness" and "manhood" categories rarely presenting on their own.
Otherness, masculinity, and manhood also influence eachother often on this spectrum and effect how the Tidalmasc individual perceives their identity.
The gender is also deeply connected to soft blues, teals, and seafoams as representative for how the individual experiences their masculinity. The feelings of this gender can be connected to the colours one sees in the tide on a sunny day. Tidalmasx can be considered an aesthetigender.
Tidalmasc can also be used in combination with other xenogenders [or other genders in general. I'm not your dad.] The xenic/"otherness" part of this gender is intentionally loosely defined so that the individual can "fill in the blanks" or simply not focus on finding a specific label.
Flag Meaning Under Cut;
The flag meaning is as follows:
The stripes, from top to bottom, represent Manhood, Nonbinary Manhood, Masculinity Without Manhood, Soft Masculinity, Masculinity With Otherness, and Otherness.
The Yellow represents overarching xeninity and divergence from binary manhood.
The symbol is a combination of the Mars/Male symbol, the "Male with Stroke" symbol [here representing nonbinary manhood and masculinity], the genderqueer symbol [here representing the "otherness"] and the sun symbol [representing overarching masculinity]
The combination of the symbols represents how they all influence eachother and at times may be felt in tandem. The colouring represents how Soft Masculinity and Masculinity without binary manhood is often the primary experience of this gender.

This isn't an "official" coining post or anything, but I think referential language is really cool and we need more of it, so here's some ideas for genderfrith ref lang. Feel free to chip in with more ideas, especially for things I may not have covered.
Frithous - A genderfrith gender quality. Someone could be transfrithous, cisfrithous, etc. (I like it better than "frithine" but we'll see what sticks.)
Frithmel - A genderfrith sex term.
Flit - A genderfrith youth. A group of them could be "flits." It just sounds right to me.
Frithan - A genderfrith grownup. A group of them could be "frithen."
That's kind of all for now, I know I'm missing a few things, but I'm having a weird morning and want to get this post out into the world so it's not sitting in my drafts for literal years!
✦)not a coining as this already exists but there's only one flag and i don't rily like it so i made my own
✦)flag is a simple combination of the genderfaer and pangender flag.Greens from faer, yellow from pangender, light pink from pangender and the other 2 pinks/purples are from faer.
✦)i tried to make a panfaunet flag but it looked rily bad but when i figure it out i'll post that
✦) pangender + genderfaunet, being every gender except binary woman
✦)not a coining as this was already coined however it had no flag
✦) flag is a simple combination of pangender and genderfaunet
There’s also this one i made, i don’t think it looks too bad but it doesn’t portray the faunet part very well, the difference between the genderfaun and genderfaunet flag is the top 3 stripes so removing them could be either panfaun or panfaunet so i prefer the other one (plus it’s way prettier imo)

✦)a trigender bigenderfluid gender that is genderflor, berrifluid, and static xenogender
(Extra info under cut)
✦)flag:
Top 3 stripes are for genderflor, bottom 3 stripes are fir berrifluid and the middle stripe is for xenogender, the xenogender part is focused on spacegenders, hence the stars and colour. Also the genderflor part is on top since it’s supposed to be the main gender*
✦)Symbolles ver + symbol
symbol is a mix of genderfluid, with a half-fem symbol on ome side to represent berrifluid as berrifluid is fluid between mainly feminine and neutral and androgynous genders(i tried to add a small male symbol but i couldn’t make it work :c) the inner circle has the neutrois symbol which is for both genderflor and berrifluid. The right symbol is the nonbinary symbol for genderflor and the bottom symbol is xenogender, which isn’t on the genderfluid symbol to show it being a static gender
✦)i made this for my oc who i make a lot of genders for everyone say hi to rei
Also if you like my art i have an art blog @strawberrykoiii

✦)a trigender bigenderfluid gender that is almondfluid, genderflor and static xenogender
✦)Flag:
The top 3 stripes are for genderflor, bottom 3 for almondfluid/verifluid and the middle is for xenogender. The version with dark blue and stars is meant to focus on spacegenders(but not exclusive to them!) and the orange version is unspecified xeno(s)
✦)Symbolless + symbol
✦)This was a request for someone on reddit, not sure if this is what they even meant (i did ask they just haven't replied yet) but i was bored so i made it anyway
✦)A subset of apxryfluid that includes ‘binary’ related abinary genders such as nymboy, nymgirl, nyxxoy and nyxxirl.
✦)technically apxryfluid also includes those genders but this is just a bit more specific ^^
✦)i originally coined this as apxryfluid rosboy since that’s what i used to describe the ‘boy’ part of my gender at the time. But since then I’ve found a lot of terms that better describe it and even combined them into a label specific for me (nyxxoy). I’m not nymgirl or nyxxirl but i wanted it to be a more open definition than just apxrfluid + nyxxoy and nymboy
symboless + symbol
Symbol on the right can be used for apxryfluid since the blue circle is for nym/nyxgenders
✦)Neutral + nonbinary counterpart to berrigender/almondgender and berrifluid/verifluid.
Not sure if something like this already exists but if it does consider this an alt term or a term specifically to match berri/almond.
✦)Nirigender-✦ (1-2)
A gender that is mainly neutral or nonbinary(nonfin/nonmin in this case) and a bit masculine and feminine or a bit male and female
✦)Nirifluid-✦ (3-5)
Genderfluidity that is mainly between neutral and nonbinary(nonfin/nonmin)/abinary genders and rarely or occasionally feminine, fiaspec, masculine and miaspec genders. Can also include androgynous and xenine genders.
✦)Name:
Colours are based on plumsexual which is main attraction to neutral and nonfin/nonmin genders with rare or little attraction to fiaspec/fem and miaspec/masc genders. I didn’t wanna call it plumender since almondgender’s name gets it confused for a xenogender and plumgender is already a thing. Berrisexual and almondsexual both have alt names- laurian and verian. i wanted to make up a term like that but for plumsexual and i came up with nirian, there’s not rlly any etymology behind it other than N for neutral and nonbinary and -rian suffix like the other terms.
✦)Flag:
I wanted this flag to match the berri/almondgender/fluid flags, i think it kind it does but it looks slightly out of place, which i think sort of fits? It’s the only one that focuses on nb genders and isn’t mainly binary related so in a way i think that works.
I couldn’t find an official meaning for the original berrigender and almondgender flags but just by looking at them i think i can see what they’re meant to be. For almondgender, there’s blue in the middle between almondgender is mainly male, purple fir androgynous or nb genders and pink at the end in a smaller stripe to represent being a little bit female. Same goes for berri but flipped. So i tried to use that in my flag but i did struggle a lot :< i didn’t use the same colours from plumsexual but i did want them to be at least somewhat similar. The lime in the middle is for being mainly nonbinary or neutral, the purple(/blue idk which that colour is considered) is for other nonfin and nonmin genders, and pink and blue at the ends to represent being a little bit male and female.
For nirifluid i went with the same idea as the berrifluid and verifluid flags; fading into the other flag but tinted with the main flags colours, but i had to change it a bit since i wanted to show both almond and berri colours. The lime stays the same but the purple is still like the nirigender flag, but a bit closer to the purples from almond and berrigender, the pink and blue at the ends is a bit more saturated to match the rest of the flag and show fluidity. The 3rd flag is nirifluid just altered a bit to be more desaturated.
I might change the nirifluid flag i kinda hate it
I CHANGED IT
i only coined this yesterday but i hated the flags so i remade then already. 2nd flag (2nd image) is pretty much the same concept but instead of pink + blue on the ends, it’s purple which is a mix of pink and blue so it shows a little bit male and female at the same time. The main reason i did this was so that it looked more different than the nirifluid flag.
i also made a new nirifluid flag(3rd image). I didnt like it because the colours didn’t match at all and it pissed me off. The idea for the new one is closer to the verifluid and berrifluid flags, the warmer purple is for androgyny and rare fem-fiaspec genders and the blue is for masculine+miaspec genders.
I searched up berrifluid to find my post rq to make sure i matched the definitions and WOW i talk about berrifluid and verifluid a lot lmao
