When it comes to me, I've got The Sims Stories, The Sims 2 and many ep and sp, Sims 3 with ep and sp, all on my precious CDs. I don't play Sims 4, always found it just boring and not for me. I know a lot of people don't have the privilege of owning the cd version of the game, but if you really cannot live without the Sims, I'm sure there are people online who still sell the original CDs or I wouldn't even say pirating the games is bad at this point.

This is Diana Doveson, a daughter to Peter & Veronica from my current Arkadia neighbourhood. She comes with custom content which you can find either here on my tumblr or on my Pinterest board here.
I've got 99 problems but my skins ain't one! I made this collection at some point last year, inspired by esotheria-sims' post. I adore Whysims' skin blends so 83 of the 99 skins are by her from wherever I could dig them up. The remaining 16 skins sprinkled in are by Silvain, Rensim, Enayla, Pooklet, CuriousB, and Lilith. Credits with links to the creators are included in a .txt file in the download.
Here are the 99 skins all lined up, this is the same model with the only change being her skin tone:
I have also organized the order in which they load in CAS/Bodyshop so that they are in order of descending genetic value (with the exception of the defaults, their order can't be edited from what I can tell). This is what it looks like in my Bodyshop (I use the clean ui for Bodyshop so I get more columns per page):
The thumbnail will also show the genetic value in addition to the creator and blend, e.g. "43 Whysim Glance DuJuan," "88 Silvain Heartbeat Sunheat," or "13 Lilith Advent Light Rose." This makes it easier to roll a number between 1 and 99 if you want to randomize your skin tone.
In my game, I like to split the skins up like this:
S4 Skins are a value from 70-99
S3 Skins are a value from 55-69
S2 Skins are a value from 30-54
S1 Skins are a value from 01-29
I use this system when I'm making over pre-mades and townies so that I can get some skin tone variety without compromising their original looks. Because of how the genetics work, you'll get babies born in the middle of the range more often than on the ends of the range, so that's why the S1 and S4 skins each encompass ~30% of the available skin tones. Some of the skins have freckles, others don't which makes a fun genetic surprise every now and then. I've been using these skins for around a year now and have been quite happy with them. I've been putting off uploading because of the daunting task of making these photos showing off the skins and hunting down links to creators (I wasn't very diligent about documenting things when I put this together for myself). Anyways, I've done my best and I hope others can get the same enjoyment from this set that I have!

The third and final part of my supernatural recolors of various paintings in the game!
As you can see, there are 3 paintings I already did in the part 2 (quilt, duck and fairy) because I couldn't stop!
Every type of supernatural has a number, so that means that “Jodelie_Art_Arghist_01A” is the alien recolor of the Arghist painting. The A is just in case I make more recolors in the future (such optimism lol).
The “Dead” life state includes zombies, ghosts, skeletons and Grim Reaper.
There are of course no mermaids in the game, but I found so much cool art that I just added them anyway.

Optional: I made a CEP for the Needlepoint painting and included a white frame recolor, which you can download at SFS if you want it.
Not much to say, these are pretty straight forward conversions using the awesome Tattooer by the awesome @paluding 😄 Initially I wanted to do two things with these: 1) release the set for Halloween, but I ended up running out of time ; and 2) make the first two face paints glow in the dark using @crispsandkerosene's edits of the Sim Shaders. Unfortunately I discovered those don't support the SimSkin shader (which is the one used for makeup and overlays), so I also had to give up on that. But maybe in the future, who knows?

Finally, after months, I have finished these. A long time ago now, I'd made my original templates but didn't really pay any mind to how gendered faces really are, and how inconsistent they are between each age. I love the Maxis faces, I just wanted them to look a little less lumpy, and to replace ones that I felt were redundant. Basically, I hated that with any given template, I couldn't really tell what a sim was going to look like as an adult because every face looked different at each stage!
So today I bring to you my less gendered Maxis Match templates, where I have chosen which face I felt was more iconic and matched the other gender with it, and then made every age look more like that template (including baby faces).
Martin Ruben can be a good example:
Yeah, sure, the eyes are the same, but that's pretty much where the likeness ends. A lot of the templates will do this, and some of the female faces suffered for it (jaws were outlawed on females in 2004, didn't you know?)
They aren't perfect but they're miles better than the originals! I also think they bring a lot more variety to faces, because I did notice that a lot of the templates would use face parts from entirely different templates! Face 2's eyes and face 1's nose are really popular, as well as yeeting jaws and chins out the window.

I think I had face blindness from doing so many of these faces at the same time because faces 8 & 10 ended up looking too similar, so I have updated face 8!
It’s Mongolian inspired and includes the baby template.
People have uploaded the exclusive Life and Pet stories terrains before, but as far as I know no one’s made thumbnails for them, so they show up with the weird ugly green graphic thing. I made thumbnails for each terrain + each type. Pull the five .pngs and the 1 .sc4 file from each subfolder in the zip and put them here: Documents\EA Games\The Sims™ 2 Ultimate Collection\SC4Terrains (or wherever it is in your installation). None are suitable for beach lots :( Arbor Falls is the only one that has any decorations. There’s a nice mix of large terrains with lots of roads for giant towns, and smaller terrains with only a few roads. The file is 12mb because I included the full-size previews, you can delete those.

so really i meant to just make this for myself considering how lazy this is. here’s what i did:
i found trapping’s skin actions a little bit ashy as opposed to how i’ve seen them in certain skins like calm depths, lilith’s feather etc, so what i did is i snatched the face from io’s skin and plastered it on the original base of calm depths, meaning this skin contains the body from calm depths rather than io’s original. yes, youre probably mad at me but you cant be as angry as i am at myself for my irredeemable laziness
i made new packages! my old skins used the same packages as calm depths, but guess what? i spent an entire morning in bodyshop exporting these new packages and spent the rest of the day replacing every single texture bodyshop ruined in simpe.

I was inspired by @peppermint-ginger's Jujujam 002 Reconversion and thought I should do this! I saw this cute hair on Jujujam's Patreon and was like omg I gotta retexture it's sims 2 counterpart just to find out it looked like THIS.
I used the original mesh as a base so you can't have both hairs in your game, I also did a quick HatMaid default for this which is repositoried to the HatMaid.
Cool thing is that already existing recolours are fully compatible with this although with a different alpha which doesn't look too bad either honestly :p
I rewatched Pirates of The Caribbean again (gosh these movies hold really special place in my heart) and I decided that I need this gorgeous woman in my game, so here she is 🤍🤍🤍
She really didn't take long to make, her facial features are so unique, beautiful and iconic that it was just a matter of 20 mins really. Since she lives in my head rent free, I didn't use any reference photos, so she's not perfect ofc
For anyone who'd want me to share her as download sim, I'm sorry, I've never put anything for download so I don't know how to do it 😭 If someone really wants me to, I can totally look it up :)
Fixes catalog thumbnails of three paintings: “Brave New Simlandia”, “The Moose Abides by Sue Lann” and “Views From My Kingdom”.
Don’t forget to Ctrl-right click on each of the three paintings to update their thumbnail (or delete thumbnails in their folder), otherwise you won’t see the change.
