So umm hi, if you’re new here, I’ve been working on a rewriting the movie wish, and in my rewrite Star Boy is called Aster.

I was doing some research about Aster’s name meaning and I found this:

Don’t know how I didn’t find this before, but anyway, I saw this and was like

“HMMMM a flower named Aster huh? Interesting, I wonder what that flower looks like”

So I look it up and…

Purple and yellow

IT HAS ASHA X ASTER COLOR SCHEME

THATS THEIR FLOWER!!!

So YEAH obviously now I’m legally obligated to implement this flower in my rewrite somehow

A scene where Aster gives Asha this flower? Or Asha gives this flower to him? Or the flower just shows up?Like Idk how I’ll implement it yet but GOSH I’m so happy about this, it was written in the stars!

ALSO! I did more research on it and found some other meanings in this flower that fit Aster’s character perfectly

It’s a flower that was commonly used to scare off snakes and evil spirits, and is said to posses magical powers, and also represents faithfulness and devotion…

This is literally so perfect for me, you guys have no idea.

I love flower symbolism, can’t wait to use this one as an Easter Egg in my rewrite! Aaaaah!
